Description of Work: Complete Home remodel. Kitchen remodel, first floor bath remodel. New hardwood flooring and fireplace in our family room. Waterproofed the basement and then remodeled the basement.

Description of Work: Shower was leaking and caused the drywall meeting up to the shower to retain moisture and crumble. Shower doors were removed and cleaned and rehung properly which was part of the problem. In addition, incorrect caulking had been used by the original builders (lifestyle condominiums). Caulking was removed and proper caulk was applied. Drywall was repaired.

Description of Work: We are so happy with the work that Brad did! He is truly a perfectionist, he went above and beyond our expectations. We had several bids before we decided on Brad who was referred to us, and we couldn't believe he beat the lowest bid by $6800. Brad also suggested a better design plan that didn't cost us anything more. Brad put a gorgeous design in the tile, in our steam shower (which didn't cost us anything extra). Our Kitchen and Bath looks like a picture out of a magazine. We never dreamed we could afford a remodel this Beautiful! Thanks Hunter Construction Co.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Description of Work: Brad completed gutted and remodeled our first-floor full bathroom. He ripped out the old bathtub, ceramic floor, toilet, sink, medicine cabinet, and built-in cabinet (all of which were old and out-dated) as well as the ceiling (it was uneven and cracked). With a "blank slate" to work with, Brad designed the most luxurious, amazing bathroom for us. The focal point was our huge, walk-in shower. The walls, from floor to ceiling, were covered in natural stone. He constructed a bench inside the shower out of granite, and also lined the ledges and entryway into the shower with granite. The shower-head is a huge "rain-maker" model, which I love. Brad had a heavy glass door and side glass panes custom-made for the shower (and I love that the shower door can swing both ways). Brad replaced the old ceramic floor tiles with 16x16 marble tiles which are gorgeous and make the bathroom look larger. As an added bonus, Brad (who has a million connections in the building world) had his amish friend (who had to hire a driver to bring him to our house) custom-build, by hand, a new build-in wood cupboard and recessed medicine cabinet -- both of which were absolutely perfect (which still amazes me, considering the Amish do not use electricity to power their table saws). Brad also replaced the ceiling, installed a new exhaust fan, and painted the entire bathroom. His work was meticulous, and our bathroom looks like it belongs in a million-dollar house. We couldn't be happier with the end result.

Description of Work: Brad Holbert completely transformed our outdated, drab, crumbling front porch into a beautiful, eye-catching retreat. Our house was built in the late 1930s, and the porch appeared nearly as old. The base of the porch consisted of crumbling cinder blocks that had shifted and were uneven. The porch floor had numerous cracks and was slanted and stained. The wood posts supporting the portico were rotten, and the flashing around our windows had been installed incorrectly. The walkway and steps leading up to the house were crooked and in shambles. The aluminum siding was ancient, dented, and unsightly. We really had no idea how to improve our sad-looking porch but knew we needed to do something drastic because it was such an eye-sore. Brad was willing to tackle our porch disaster, thankfully! Not only did Brad design a new walkway and porch, he also did the demo work and all construction work by himself. The walkway was excavated and replaced with beautiful cobblestone. The steps leading up to the porch were leveled; the steps and the porch floor were also covered in beautiful coordinating pavers. Brad removed the ancient aluminum siding from the front of the house, fixed the flashing and the gutters, and installed stone on the face of the porch. He framed the door and window with cedar, which really dressed up the porch. The original small portico was removed, as were the rotten posts. In their place, Brad built three gorgeous cedar columns that support a beautiful, hand-made cedar pergola. Brad did all of the workwork himself by hand, including intricately-carved end pieces for the pergola. He stained the cedar with 25-year white stain. We also replaced the front porch light with a stunning pendant lap (Brad directed us to an amazing lighting store with high-end lighting that was less expensive and much higher quality than what is available at big box stores like Lowes). Our porch is now AMAZING; it completely changed the entire look of our house and makes our porch look much bigger. Countless neighbors have stopped by to compliment us on our new porch. We are thrilled with the end result. Brad's vision for our porch came to fruition. His work is impeccable and high-quality. Brad truly knows how to do and build anything, and we are fortunate to have benefitted from his talent.
