She was a big help and had a really "can do" attitude. She came willing to work and do whatever was asked of her. I definitely would hire again for her personality alone. Very non-judgmental, and got along great with other family members and friends who also came to help.

It was great! She took out two carful's of things I donated (and she promptly send a form for my donations), took all the trash to the curb for the next day's pick-up, and organized everything left in the basement. She was so pleasant and efficient. She didn't waste a minute from arrival to departure. She worked well over the 4 hours I purchased. I will be calling her again soon to organize my kitchen and closets.

She was here for about four hours, she's very pleasant and easy to work with. She's also very friendly and not afraid to work, doing a whole multitude of things I asked of her.
Description of Work: They worked in my basement, sorting through a few things for donation and labeling boxes for our move. I used our coupon on sunday, and it cost about $35/hr on Monday.

Missy didn't waste any time, she went right to work to organize these areas. She used every bit of her time and did a very thorough job. The linen closet was the best! My husband loved it and was very impressed.

I sent a brief video of the room so the organizer could see what she was getting into. I was most impressed with her positive, non-judgemental approach. She was good at keeping me on task and focused on the purpose of what I was doing. This is important because going through your own stuff can be really overwhelming. I hadn't realized how much stuff I had. I found myself thinking about WHY I have so much stuff as I went through things, and realized a lot of the reason I have trouble completing tasks and following through is that the variety and quantity of things in my space distract me. We changed the room around, too, and this helped me see things almost as though I hadn't really seen the stuff before. I came to the conclusion that attacking a mess and sorting through it, and throwing out the unnecessary stuff, is not the same as organization. Organization requires a focus on purpose. You have to think about what you have, why it's where it is, and what is the most effective way you can deal with your stuff and make the most of it. I think we become so results driven that we underestimate the importance of the quality of the process. The only regret I have is that I hadn't done the sorting and throwing away of things before the organizer came. I would have liked to have learned more about where to put things so that they'd make sense; that way, I'd be more likely to maintain the organization. I feel like we didn't have enough time to really establish a method of staying organized- but this was my fault because I'd let things get so out of hand. However, I really liked this lady, and would love to have her back to continue making the space a place that makes me feel productive because of the way things are placed and organized. I would highly recommend this lady and her services, but if I had it to do over, I think I would have felt less stressed about it if the project had been divided into two sessions, one on one day and one on another day. There was so much stuff that it was difficult to tackle it during a four hour period. I think someone who has way too much stuff needs to anticipate on investing in the project beyond just paying someone to help organize. I realized that what I had to work with wasn't necessarily designed for the purpose for which I was utilizing it. I'd tried to convert a bedroom into an office without getting rid of bedroom-related items. Also, I realized you can't become organized in four hours. Many years of bad habits and disorganization cannot be remedied as quickly as I'd hoped. But again, this lady was super positive and made it as painless as it could possibly be.
Description of Work: Helped me unearth my floor and sort through tons of misc. stuff, to create some order. Helped me prioritize the time well.

Missy helped me organize my biggest nightmare...my pantry....we moved items where they will be now much more functional and Missy personalized where things were placed in the pantry based on my needs. Time flew and before long we had thrown out all expired items and my pantry was neat and organized. I LOVE IT
Description of Work: Missy arrived at the exact time we had scheduled. Missy was just what I needed. For quite some time I had been looking at my pantry and kitchen thinking wow this is a mess but it overwhelmed me...Missy helped me put things where they made sense and where it worked for me. My pantry now is super organized and it makes finding things soooooo much easier. It was a pleasure to have Missy in my home. She is young, friendly and very dynamic. Missy did an excellent job helping me sort through things and organize tubs of things in my basement. She also re-organized the lazy Susan in my kitchen to make more user-friendly. She even hauled away an entire Jeep full of items to be donated. She is very hard working and focused. I would highly recommend her services.

Melissa was energetic and helpful. She was also patient with our limitations, giving us breaks when we needed them, and considering what we needed and wanted for our end result. She was easy to work with and very kind to us, and we were very pleased with her help. She gave us lots of good advice and got our room into shape where we had room for what we needed it for. Not only that, but she was a very good listener, and had helpful suggestions for our continued improvements. We had lots of stuff to trash after the cleanup, which was part of our goal, and we have just now finished the last trash/recycle takeout. So now we will be contacting her again when we get some funds together. Hopefully we will be able to go room by room and end up with a clean and organized house over time. Melissa's services were very helpful to us, and I really, really appreciated them. As a nice touch, she sent us a very nice Thank You card after our work, saying that she appreciated the chance to work with us. Nice touches like this make a lot of difference to me--I really appreciated the follow up. She is really good at what she does and I would highly recommend her services to anyone. :)
Description of Work: Melissa helped us clean out our middle bedroom, which we are using as a craft room/library. It was full of yet-to-unpack boxes and was unusable for its intended purpose. She also helped with the attached closet, which was not very accessible.

When I saw the Big Deal for 4 hours of organizing, I emailed the service provider to ask if she did garages. She said yes, so I bought the Big Deal and was excited to work with her. Unfortunately, when I had emailed Missy, I did not specify that I was planning to purchase a Big Deal to pay for the service, and I failed to read the fine print that stated "no garages." Missy contacted me right away to remedy the situation. She offered to do the garage for a slightly higher price than the Big Deal and instructed me on how to get a refund for the Big Deal that I had purchased. Overall, this was my mistake. Missy was quick to respond by email and phone.

Ms. Hayward provided a wonderful service. I was completely satisfied with her from the initial communication to the completion of the project. She was prompt in her response after my purchase, making it evident that my business was important to her. She also rearranged her schedule so that she was able to meet me during the time I requested. I was further impressed with her communication with me to determine what I needed her to assist me with in my home. On the day of service, Ms. Hayward was punctual, professional, and pleasant. She is very personable, and we established a rapport immediately. Upon assessing what needed to be done in my kitchen, she worked her magic. It was exhilarating to see my kitchen transform, and I was thoroughly impressed with the outcome (as was my husband)! She clearly has a talent for what she does, and its also evident that she enjoys it as well. As part of my service, Ms. Hayward removed several bags I had prepared for donation, and will be sending me the receipt. As a busy mom, this saved me a significant amount of time and effort. I cannot say enough in praise to this businesswoman. I will be utilizing her services again for another part of my home that needs organization. I would highly recommend honey like love!

Missy was very prompt and right on time, which was very helpful for me. She was very upfront about any scheduling conflicts. The Big Deal was for three hours of consultation and organization. She only used two of those hours organizing, she then offered to help with anything else I needed with the remaining time. She reorganized my little office, and helped me rearrange everything. She was able to make it so that I could see out of my window while I worked at my computer. She even went as far as to untangle the mess of cables behind my computer! Her knowledge of where all the computer cords went was most helpful. I was so happy that she got right to work and just kept moving right along to the next piece of the puzzle. She suggested certain things that I could upgrade or buy new, but helped me get everything sorted with what I had at the time. I wish I would have had more for her to do with that remaining hour.

It was good. There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount as they were there longer than three hours. Apparently, she was planning to charge us the full rate but since it wasn't really discussed for the hours that she was going to go over how that was going to get handled we ended up agreeing on just going with the same half price rate that was for the three hours. They came out within a couple of weeks after we purchased the deal. She did a good job merchandising our closet but we were disappointed with the cost.

Well, we exchanged a few messages back and forth. She asked me what I wanted to have done and I wrote that with 3 hours time, I expected my whole house organized. Well, that should have been my first clue because she sent me a message back that she needed to talk to me. She wanted to know what my main areas of concern were and I again told her, 3 hours was a large amount of time and that I wanted my whole house done, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and garage. Well, she said we will do what we can do. All along she was very polite, friendly and professional. Well, she arrived late but had called to let me know, which I thought was great. She had brought along a friend to help her. The friend was not part of her company which I thought was strange. Well, now I can see why she thought 3 hours was not enough time (even with a helper). Let me just say that after 2 hours, I told her okay, we are done. I have employed other organizers previously so I know how this works and what can be done in a given amount of time. I have had other organizers do way more in less time. She was very nice but I think maybe she should stick with closets. She took some items that I no longer needed and donated them and mailed me a receipt for my taxes inside of a very nice thank you note. So, again, I give her an A for being nice and professional, but a D on talent and ability. I would not hire her again.

Thank you for your feedback [member name removed]. I'm sorry you were not satisfied with the service provided to you on August 25, 2013. As with all of my clients, I requested to speak with you before your service date to make sure we were clear on what your expectations were so that we could best serve you. With the service we provide, we do not just organize what you have, we review and talk through what you have to determine the need for items in your home to make your life easier. My reason for bringing an assistant to organize your home was so that we could meet your expectations of having your entire home organized within the 3 hour timeframe. With the additional assistance, that would have totaled 6 hours of service (With two people within a 3 hour timeframe), I believed we would have been able to do so. I always make sure to check-in several times with each client while performing the service so that we can all be on the same page and to make sure you as the client are satisfied and you did not share with us that you were displeased with the work that we had done thus far. Regarding showing up late to the 9:00am scheduled appointment; According to my records I did arrive at the scheduled time but I do acknowledge that my assistant for the day was 5 minutes late and for that I do apologize. In the 2 years of performing organizing services for my clients I have never had a complaint about the services provided and I do take my client’s satisfaction very seriously because it is of the utmost importance. We acknowledge this is certainly a two-way relationship and we agree that this was not the warmest interaction for either party. From beginning to end Missy was extremely professional and focused. She arrived on time (which is huge in my world). She literally removed every single item from my closet. She formed piles of what I would keep and what I would donate. As she removed the items from the closet, the items that I was to keep were organized in color coordinated piles and by item type. Once all items were removed and sorted and it was decided on what I would donate she then began to place the items back in to the closet. She literally buttoned every button on all of my button downs (that is detail in my book). I could go on and on about how wonderful of a job Missy did while in my closet. She hung all of my pants with pants, all of my dresses with dresses (by length), all of my skirts with skirts, etc. Also, she organized my shoes so that I would know what was actually in the boxes and not have to open them to see; and my purses alike. Oh, I almost forgot. The items that were to be donated Missy took them away so that I would not have to worry about them any longer. The service that Missy provided was phenomenal. Missy did the type of work that I just do not like to do and I am please to say that my closet still looks great. Initially I only had Missy do my master bedroom but I cannot wait to have her back over to complete my other closets.

I love my "new" closet! Missy was extremely professional even in our introduction to one another. She really asked a lot of questions regarding my wardrobe. What do I normally wear, when do I wear it and even how do I wear it? She gave me great tips on what to add to my wardrobe and what I can do to really have a well put together look that I can pull from my own closet. She explained how she was going to organize my closet and showed me that even though I may have pieces that I specifically wear for work that can also be worn for social events. This literally helped to expand my wardrobe without spending any additional money. My closet is so functional now to where I don't have to search for clothing. Everything has it's own place which is really helpful. She even organized my bags, shoes and other accessories. I'm a busy professional who really doesn't have a lot of time to put an outfit together so the changes she made have made a world of difference. Missy went shopping for me to purchase organizational items for my closet, she even assembled them for me. Now I have no trouble at all getting dressed in the morning or for social outings. I would absolutely recommend her service because I honestly didn't know I needed it until after she was finished and I can't imagine not having an organized closet ever again! In fact, I've already recommended 3 new clients to her and she gave me a discount on future services. If you're thinking hiring Missy to organize your closet don't think twice about it, just do it and you will be glad you did.

I received the closet refresh as a gift. Though I must admit that I was leery at first (my first thought was"Why do I need that?"), I was very pleased with with outcome. Missy removed every item from my closet, assisted me in determining what really belonged ("So...when's the last time you wore this?!?!?"), and organized my clothes by type and color. Though there were some things I ended up re-organizing for my own ease (I like work clothes together on one side, everyday clothes together on the other side), I really did appreciate the experience. As a naturally messy person (organized, but messy!), I noticed a decrease in the amount of time I took to get dressed in the morning, and found myself really working hard to maintain the basic structure of my closet redesign.
