 + -1 moreI have used Homestead several times over the years for my home mortgages and refinancing. They are a broker and have always come up with a mortgage with the terms I requested at very competitive rates. This last time was no different. The process was very smooth. I did some other shopping around and could not do any better than what they offered as far as rates and costs go. I am quite satisfied with the mortgage and the process.
Description of Work: Went to them for a mortgage on an investment property.

 + -1 moreMary Anne was very professional, helpful, and walked me through the entire process and made it as smooth as possible. She was great and I highly recommend her. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that Homestead is a mortgage broker and so, my mortgage was sold twice since I closed on my house. It is not a big deal, just a bit confusing to get notices from various mortgage companies telling me they are my new mortgage holder. This seems a minor inconvenience, though, as I got excellent service from Homestead and a great interest rate.
Description of Work: I went through Homestead Mortgage on a recommendation from my realtor for my home mortgage. Mary Anne Ward, the loan officer, prepared my loan, locked in my rate, and handled all my paperwork. The cost I list is the total of the charges that were specifically charged by Homestead Mortgage. The total closing costs, of course, were higher.
