Description of Work: Purchased full set of kitchen appliances. Very pleased with sales experience, delivery and installation, and follow up. Great prices. The refrigerator didn't fit but they sent a replacement within a few days. Allow a few extra inches in your measurements!

TWO GUYS CAME. THEY GIVE YOU A TIME FRAME THEY WILL BE THERE, AND THEY WERE THERE. THEY CAME IN WITH THE NEW TV, TOOK THE OLD TV SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO THROW IT AWAY, AND THEY HOOKED UP THE NEW TV. THEY PROGRAMMED IT AND WERE IN AND OUT WITHIN 15 MINUTES. THEY WERE GREAT.

WAS ABLE TO DIAGNOSE PROBLEM OVER THE PHONE. THEY ORDERED PARTS AND CALLED AGAIN WHEN THE PARTS CAME IN TO SET APPOINTMENT. ARRIVED ON TIME FOR APPOINTMENT AND INSTALLED NEW PARTS AND REASSEMBLED TV. TOOK TIME TO TEST AND ADJUST THE FOCUS. NO CHARGE UNDER MY EXTENDED GUARANTEE.

THE SALESMAN THAT HELPED US WAS POLITE AND NOT PUSHY AT ALL. WE HAD OUR CHOICES NARROWED DOWN AND HE HELPED POINT OUT PROS AND CONS OF EACH. PRICE WAS WELL BELOW SUGGESTED RETAIL AND OTHER PRICES FOUND AT OTHER STORES. DELIVERY WAS FREE. DEVLIVERY WAS THE NEXT DAY. CALLED US THE DAY AFTER INSTALLATION TO SEE IF ALL WENT WELL.

WE WENT WITH MID RANGE MODELS PER THE ADVISE OF THE SALES PERSON. HE STEERED US AWAY FROM THE MORE EXPENSIVE FRONT LOAD MODELS.

I WILL SAY THAT ALL THE PEOPLE WE WORKED WITH AT HH GREGG WERE VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. UNFORTUNATELY THEY ARE VERY BAD AT RETURNING CALLS AND CALLING WHEN PROMISED. YOU HAVE TO STAY ON THEM IN ORDER TO GET WHAT YOU WANT. IT TOOK US 2 1/2 MONTHS. I AM GLAD THEY WHOLE ORDEAL IS OVER.
Description of Work: MARCH 17TH, 2004, OUR TV WE BOUGHT FROM HH GREGG STOPPED WORKING. A REPAIR PERSON CAME OUT ON 3/19/04. HE SAID HE COULD NOT REPAIR IT AND SAID THAT IT WOULD POTENTIALLY NEED A NEW PART. I COULD WAIT FOR THE PART AND RESCHEDULE A SERVICE VISIT OR HAVE THE TV PICKED UP AND A LOANER SENT WHILE THEY REPAIRED THE TV. I OPTED TO HAVE THE TV SENT TO THE SHOP. THE TV (AFTER MUCH ANGST) WAS PICKED UP ON 3/24/04. IT WAS NOT EVEN LOOKED AT BY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT UNTIL 3/30/04. FINALLY MAY 14, 2004, GAVE US A NEW COLOR TV SINCE IT HAD BEEN SO LONG SINCE WE HAD OUR ORIGINAL TV. THEY PROMISED TO FIX OR REPLACE AND RETURN OUR ORIGINAL TV. MAY 26, 2004, WE CALLED HH GREGG AND FINALLY THEY GAVE US AN IN STORE CREDIT SO WE COULD COME IN AND GET A NEW TV. WE WENT TO THE STORE AND DID NOT FIND ANYTHING WE WANTED. HH GREGG THEN REFUNDED OUR MONEY. THAT CAME THROUGH ON JUNE 1, 2004.

DURING INSTALLATION, THEY POKED A HOLE IN A NEWLY REMODELED BATHROOM WALL, ON 7/2/03. AS OF TODAY, 7/28/03, THEY HAVE NOT REPAIRED IT. ALSO, THE INSTALLATION TEAM WAS VERY SLOPPY. THEY WERE ON TIME DURING THE INSTALLATION BUT HAVE BEEN LESS THAN RESPONSIVE ON THE REPAIR.

CAME OUT TO INSTALL DISHWASHER. SAID I NEEDED NEW PLUMBING AND DIDNT TAKE OUT OLD ONE. IF THEY HAD TAKEN IT OUT, THEY WOULD HAVE SEEN THAT THE WIRING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE SECOND TIME THEY GOT STUCK IN THE DRIVEWAY AFTER BIG SNOWSTORM SO NOTHING WAS DONE THAT DAY. THE THIRD TIME THEY SAID THE ELECTRICAL NEEDED TO BE REDONE. THEY WERE ACTUALLY GOING TO INSTALL IT WITH THE BAD ELECTRICITY AND I SAID NO. I HAD AN ELECTRICIAN COME REPAIR THE WIRING. THE FOURTH TIME I WAITED ALL DAY AND THEY NEVER CAME. WHEN I CALLED TO SEE WHEN THEY WOULD BE HERE, I WAS TOLD THAT THE INSTALLATION ORDER HAD BEEN CANCELLED WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. I ENDED UP WASTING A PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL DAY. THEY NEVER GAVE A TIME THAT THEY WOULD COME. AT LEAST THEY LEFT THE NEW DISHWASHER HERE SO I COULD HAVE SOMEONE ELSE INSTALL IT.

WHEN PURCHASING THE DISHWASHER WE TOLD THE COMPANY ABOUT OUR NEW HARDWOOD FLOORS AND HOW IT MAY BE HARD TO GET THE DISHWASHER IN, BUT THE COMPANY SAID THEY COULD DO IT. WHEN THEY CAME TO INSTALL IT THEY COULD NOT GET THE DISHWASHER IN, SO THEY HAD TO GET ANOTHER TYPE, WHICH LED TO SIGNIFICANT DOWN TIME AND THE COMPANY WAS NOT RESPONSIVE IN RETURNING CALLS DURING THIS TIME. THEY ENDED UP GETTING IT INSTALLED, BUT WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN.

THE SALESMAN DID NOT INDICATE THAT I MIGHT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE HEIGHT OF THE WHIRLPOOL DISHWASHER. THE INSTALLER INFORMED ME THAT SOMETIMES THIS BRAND WILL NOT FIT UNDER COUNTER TOPS. HE SAID THAT THEY WERE TRYING TO GET THEIR SUPERVISOR OUT TO THE STORES TO INFORM THE SALESMAN. I HAD HAD THIS BRAND OF DISHWASHER BEFORE AND PURPOSELY BOUGHT IT AGAIN BECAUSE OF SOME FEATURES.
