He didn't finish the job and damaged my windows. I hired Scott to do exterior painting. Initially Scott was responsive and cordial. He worked around other contractors that were replacing my siding. Some of the painting required removal of my storm windows. Unfortunately some of the windows were damaged/scratched during the process including the large window in the front of the house. Scott agreed to replace the windows when the weather improved. I waited until spring to contact him, I even had a small balance that was still owed to him which I was planning to pay once the damage was repaired. I left him several voice mail messages and attempted text as well but he failed to return my calls. I know he received these messages because he responded to my first text I sent but months later I have not spoken with him. In my final message I offered the opportunity to complete the work before I posted my negative experience online, still no response. I am left with damaged windows that will be $400.00 to repair not to mention the time involved to remove and replace them. In addition to the window damage, there are several items and touch ups that were not completed. He agreed to paint my front porch, touch up my downspouts and my garage doors but failed to honor this agreement. He obviously did not care that my property was damaged during his work nor does he care that I post my negative experience. I do not recommend using his services.

We tried to please our customer by giving him $500 for the cost of the window that were damaged. The PLEXI glass storm window cost less than $500. Weather it be from compensation or taking care of by our company, we try to always take care of any issues our clients may have with our work.

I think he’s really good and very honest. He did work for my and I’ve been very pleased with it. He’s painting by trade but he can also tap into suggesting things that can be done around the house. He fixed my linoleum floor. He also shined up my tile floor. He looked at my tub, he then left and he put up a new mirror that he got for $20 from Habitat for Humanity and it was gorgeous. He also found a sink for $20 and it was great. I pretty much got a new bathroom for about $100. I mean it was small but it was just great for a quick fix to my bathroom. It looks terrific. They have also painted for me and it looks terrific. They sensed what I needed to do and helped me out.
Description of Work: He's done great interior painting and just general handyman and fix-up work for me.
