I bought a sofa and a chair. The price was a little high. It is not holding up as well as I hoped. I thought the quality would be worth the price but the price is high for the quality. The salesperson was wonderful but as a whole I am not impressed. I would not buy from them again.

When Havertys delivered my sofa there was a missing cushion. It took two weeks to get the cushion delivered to me. It was a lot of effort on my part to continue to follow-up. Havertys was not taking any action unless I kept calling.

This was my first experience with Havertys and it will NOT be my last. Their excellent customer service started the moment I walked in the front door. Stuart Harris was my first sales consultant and he was exceptional. Fun, friendly, helpful. I had to return a different day to finalize the transaction and Stu was unavailable. He offered to come in on his day off to help, but I told him "no" and was assisted by Betty Trautman instead. Betty was just as awesome as Stuart. Haverty's delivery services are excellent. You are able to "follow" the delivery vehicle throughout the day so you will know exactly when to expect it and who will be doing the delivering. They had some trouble getting both large pieces through my narrow doors, but they were patient and professional. A first rate experience all around. I shopped around quite a bit and was so impressed with their furniture. Two thumbs up!!!!!

When we started shopping for sofas, I explained to each and every sales person that I had been sick and on the sofa for 3 months. In fact, I had been on the sofa twice for 3 months. Comfort was number one priority. My sales lady at Haverty's assured me the Payton set was top of the line. Even when she called me on Sunday night while I was in bed....just to see if we decided to buy the set...she continued to sell the comfort level. For the record, she was not returning a call and I was not happy that she would call me on a Sunday, especially after 8pm. After about 3 months we thought the padding was failing and after 6 months, we KNEW we were sitting on little more than a wood bench. There are spots in the arms, back, and leg rest that feel like wood wrapped in leather....no padding. The repair man came out and agreed about the stuffing and since he didn't have stuffing on his truck, he came back about 2 weeks later and restuffed the backs. He did not know how to fix the arms and the leg rest were not addressed at all. Really nice guy, but these sofas are pathetic and I doubt anyone could fix them. We purchased this set over a set at Coconis furniture based on the reviews that Haverty's shows on their website. When I tried to post a review I found that you have to submit that to customer service. So what looks like a review directly from the customer, is actually an edited or approved review that Haverty's has approved before putting on their website as from a customer. I could be wrong but this looks and sounds like fraud. I've called again for service. This time I spoke with Annette who was very professionally RUDE in basically blaming my terrible sofas on me because I am not available ALL day the following Friday. However, I was available in the afternoon which she would not schedule me for. After so much of Annette's attitude and hassle I asked for a supervisor. I was then connected to Sharidon at extension 80233. Sharidon was much nicer and much more feeling about the problem but the end result is the same. Another service appointment. Stay tuned and I will let you know how it goes.

At first it seemed ok. Kinda high pressure sales, like you would expect from a furniture sales place. But once I left the store without buying the sales didn't stop. The sales person kept calling and pressuring me. Eventually I bought a sleeper sofa and recliner, not because I caved to the pressure but because they had a style of sleeper sofa I was looking for that I could actually touch and try out before I buy. The only other option in columbus I could find was a much more expensive one in Upper Arlington or of course buy online. To make a long story short, they lied to me about the availability of delivery and proceeded to tell me it was my fault for misunderstanding. I'm not sure exactly HOW I could misunderstand a statement like "the sofa will be in the warehouse and available for scheduling on the 12th," CLEARLY when someone hears that statement by two different people (one of which was recorded on voice mail!) what stupid me SHOULD have understood was "your sofa won't be shipped from the manufacturer until the 18th and we don't know when we will get it, and once it's received we don't know how long it will take us to get it ready to be delivered to you. We'll let you know when we feel like making it available to you." Huh. Guess my hearing must be going bad. When I called on the 14th to schedule the sofa delivery they were so unprofessional. They insisted I misunderstood and there was nothing they were willing to do. Never mind that it's easter weekend and I have family coming to stay with me. Never mind that based on 2 Haverty's employees' statements I told my family they can stay with me, don't worry I'll have a place. Haverty's told me it should be here! Never mind that I don't have a place for them now and that they cancelled their hotel. There's nothing they are WILLING to do. Except have the sales person call me. Eventually. Whenever she gets around to it. That sales person call? It's been 2 days and she hasn't called yet. I would be shocked if she ever did. In the meantime all I can do is HOPE my sofa actually comes someday. Technically they are still within their ridiculous 10-week windrow (you know, the one the sales people tell you never actually takes that long?) I will never shop here again.

The sales staff were not pushy. They listened to exactly what I wanted and were helpful in finding furniture which matched my preferred style. I was pleased with how quickly the furniture could be delivered. I will shop at Haverty's in the future. A nice selection at a reasonable price point.

We got a decent discount for the couch that they sold us. I put my daughter to sleep on the couch when she didn?t have a diaper on and she peed on it. We called the cleaning service that they had contracted the cleaning to, and a guy came in and did the cleaning. The plan that they sold us worked, and we were happy with that.

Wonderful! We met a lot of furniture sales people in our search, but few were knowledgeable about both the furniture AND home decor. The service we got from Edna far surpassed our expectations. She laid out or room on a computer floor-planner, emailed us photos to help us in our search, and helped us pick out accessories to go with the furniture. On our second visit to the store, my husband and I were having trouble deciding between two dining room sets and before we knew it the store was closing. The store manager kept the store open almost an hour after they were supposed to close, even though we told him we weren't going to finalize our purchase that night. The furniture is higher quality than a lot of stores, but it was still affordable. We were given a two-hour time window for our delivery and the delivery men were right on time. We have a narrow hallway leading to the bedroom but they got everything in and setup without damage (unlike our experience with another store). After they set up my dining room, we decided we wanted to put the china cabinet on a different wall. My husband told the men he would do it, but they hapily stayed and moved it. I was very comfortable having these men in my home. They were very friendly. I wish I had known about this store years ago. We are Haverty's customers for life!

They give you time to decide if what you purchased really the room in your home. We ended up returning the all the furniture and purchased something else we like better. There was no hassles and we appreciated this policy. They high quality furniture.
