NOT GOOD AT ALL. I had damage that they did not fix. I was told during sales I could re-use my blinds and because of how they where installed I can no longer use them. That is about $100-$120 per window I was not expecting. I also cannot believe the company used my credit card without my permission and signed my name. I still have outstanding items to be fixed and am unhappy with the install. When you pay cash for something you expect it to be done right. I will need to follow up and let everyone know what the out come is. But I would never recommend or use this company for anything. Their communication is terrible and they do not have many of their own employees even though they say they do. All their work is done by sub contractors. I am sure some are good and some are bad. But, I did not have a good experiance. Also, the subs say the the communication to them is terrible also. They do not respond to the subs when problems arise. BAD EXPERIANCE ALL THE WAY AROUND.

When I called the company it was after business hours. They came out while I was away from home. They mailed an estimate to my home. The estimate was very thorough and in detail.

We hooked up with this company at our local home show. The sales representative seemed aggressive to sell and tried tactics to make it sound as though if you didn't decide that night the price would go up for the job (discounts for floating install, personal salesman discount, home show discount, etc). We already had some estimates prior and theirs (after all the "discounts") came into line with others. We decided to go with this company because the type of siding we want is only installed by a few companies and the other companies we had gotten estimates from didn't have stellar reviews on the BBB website. I was told by the salesman that the floating install meant we couldn't set a firm date on install (or we would lose the discount) which I was able to do through the manager of the company (sales tactic!?). The salesman was supposed to come back or call regarding a couple of items but never contacted us after the sale. We did change our minds on the initial siding color we chose and once I called the company manager that was fixed. The company manager, Mr. Pilder was very accommodating because we had to call him several times regarding questions we had on financing and installation and he took his time and answered all the questions; even giving me his cell phone number and e-mail address. I also had to talk to their finance division and Michelle was very helpful and answered all our questions on various issues. The only issues with installation are the time they say they will be there isn't when they arrive and language barrier. I had to call installation to reconfirm our install date (we were sent a letter stating they would call us but did not) and get a time. I was told they would be there between 9:00-11:00 am; they did not arrive until 3:45 pm. The guy in charge of the installation crew called the day of installation and said they would be there after 12:00 pm. I had to call the installation department and ask where the siding crew was at 2:00 pm and if they were coming. The only explanation I received is they had to stop by another job site and it took longer than expected and they would work until dark then finish the next day. I did not receive any apology for the delay. The crew all spoke Spanish along with the site manager (he also spoke English). The crew worked hard all evening until 8:30 pm and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. The crew returned the next day at 9:30 am without the site manager. The site manager did not show up until 2:00 pm. I had some issues with things that needed fixed from the installation the night before but could not communicate it to the crew due to the language barrier and had to wait until the site manager showed to communicate those issues (I wasn't even sure if the guy was going to show). I again was not given and explanation as to why the site manager was so late. I was assured any issues would be fixed and they were along with the fact they would be finished that night.

They were helpful and made suggestions, shared info on what to look for in quality windows and siding.

They did an ok job but I wish they would have told me when they were coming so I would have been present. There would some parts of the job we were not satisfied with.

4 workmen arrived and worked about 3 days. Each day they cleaned up after themselves. They were very attentive to details making sure that everything we wanted was done to our satisfaction. When it was complete we were extremely pleased with the siding and the workmanship installing it.

In the contract, I had them specify the layout of the gutters and downspouts, but they didn't follow that at all, they did it the way the old ones were. I gave them a check up front for half, they supposed to wait until the work was done to cash it, but they cashed it and then showed up 3 weeks later for the work, then they did the work backwards. They were supposed to come out and fix the downspouts, but they never came back. Then we had a little snow melt and water ran right over the gutters and did not go into them. I explained the problems to the owner and he sent a crew out to take a look at it, but they took off without fixing all of problems. I've called and left messages, but no one has followed through.

Trying to keep my business. Each time I was called, the price went down, dropping $500.00 to $600.00 each time they called. Overall savings of over $1000.00 once I canceled the contract. I have learned to be cautious of high pressure sales. There is a reason they want to close the sale so quickly and the windows were obviously overpriced if they can afford to discount so much just to keep a sale.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE TOO PUSHY. THEY LIKED TO DO THE HARD SALE. THEY WANTED TO GET THE SALE ON THE FIRST VISIT WHEN A PRICE QUOTE ONLY WAS PREFERRED BY ME, THE OWNER. THERE WERE TWO PEOPLE INSTEAD OF ONE. I WAS "DOUBLE TEAMED." THE GROUP WAS NICE, IN GENERAL, AND THEY CLEANED UP WELL. DISCOUNT WAS GIVEN IF I WAS ABLE TO "GUESS" THE APPROXIMATE PRICE OF THE WINDOWS. OF COURSE! I DID GUESS AND RECEIVED MY "$500.00 DISCOUNT." I THINK IT WAS A GIMMICK TO MAKE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS GETTING A BETTER DEAL.

I FELL FOR THE HARD SELL: SPECIAL DISCOUNTS, REFERRING 2 FRIENDS AS FOR ANOTHER DISCOUNT, SAME-DAY DISCOUNT, ETC. I SIGNED THE CONTRACT SEPT. 8, BUT FELT UNEASY. I HAD BEEN CONVINCED TO GET SINGLE-HUNG WINDOWS, AND TO PUT WHITE VINYL TRIMMED WINDOWS INTO MY GOLDEN OAK FRAMES, WHEN I WANTED WOOD TO MATCH THE GOLDEN OAK. I CANCELLED THE NEXT DAY, SEPT. 9. I SENT A TELEGRAM TO DETROIT TO CANCEL, AND CALLED THE REP. TO CANCEL. NOW IT IS THE 14TH OF OCTOBER, AND MY VISA ACCOUNT STILL HAS NOT BEEN CREDITED WITH THE REFUND OF $2000, EVEN THOUGH I HAD RECEIVED A "REFUND NOTICE" DATED 10/03/05. IN SUM, THE SALES PITCH WAS AN UNAPPRECIATED HARD SELL, EVEN THOUGH THE REP. CLAIMED HE WOULDN'T USE HARD SELL. I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A PRODUCT BELOW MY STANDARDS (BAIT AND SWITCH). THE VISA SITUATION COULD COST ME HIGHER RATES. I COULD HAVE UNKNOWINGLY ANNULLED THE LIFETIME GUARANTEE BY REMOVING THE UGLY ORANGE SIGN. IT WAS HAND WRITTEN ON THE CONTRACT, BUT THE REP. NEVER POINTED IT OUT.

I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN FOR MY ROOF IF THEY DID IT.

THEY PUT IN 14 WINDOWS AND SLIDING DOORS AND THEY CLAIMED THAT THEY WOULD HOLD THE HEAT. I HAVE NOTICED AN INSTANT CHANGE IN THE TEMPERATURE, IT DOES REALLY KEEP THE HEAT OUT. WE ARE REALLY IMPRESSED AND THEY GUARANTEE THE WINDOWS FOR LIFE, UNCONDITIONAL, AND TRANSFERABLE. THEY REPAIR AGAINST BREAKS IN SCREENS. THEY WERE REALLY PROFESSIONAL AND CAME BACK TWICE TO MEASURE THE WINDOWS TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS CORRECT.

THE CREW WAS REALLY EFFICIENT! THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS.

THE SALESMAN WAS VERY COMPLETE AND INFORMATIVE. WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY FASHION, AND MY SALESMAN SHOWED UP WHEN THEY STARTED WORK (NICE TOUCH). WORKMEN I TALKED TO WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE. GUTTERS WERE DONE A WEEK AFTER SOFFITTS AND FACIA. GOOD CLEAN-UP. FELT THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT FEEL ALSO, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, AND I BELIEVE THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT WAS WORTH A SLIGHTLY HIGHER PRICE. I FELT THE SALESMAN REALLY BELIEVED IN THE PRODUCT HE WAS SELLING, AND HAVING HAD A BACKGROUND IN SALES, FIND THAT THIS IS SOMETHING HARD TO FAKE. GENUINELY FELT COMFORTABLE WORKING WITH THIS GROUP. NICE ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT, TOO.

THEY WERE SLOW TO RESPOND. MY PATIO DOOR WOULD NOT LOCK. THEY CAME OUT ON ONE OCCASION, WITHOUT CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT, SO I WASN'T THERE. THEY SET ANOTHER APPOINTMENT, WHICH THEY DIDN'T SHOW FOR. THEY WERE HESITANT TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT, SO I CONTACTED THE ORIGINAL SALESPERSON I DEALT WITH, AND HE GOT SOMEONE OUT THE SAME DAY. THE WORK WAS DONE WELL.

THE SALESMEN WERE PROFESSIONAL AND INFORMATIVE. THEIR INSTALLERS WERE ON TIME, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY COURTEOUS. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES THOROUGHLY. THE WINDOWS WERE EVERYTHING PROMISED AND THE INSTALLATION WAS FLAWLESS. MY WIFE AND I FEEL WE'VE RECEIVED VERY GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY WE SPENT. WE ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE LOOK AND OPERATION OF THE WINDOWS. WE ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH OUR EXPERIENCE WITH HANSON'S.

THE COMPANY DID A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THEY WERE VERY POLITE. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE.

GOOD TO WORK WITH ONCE YOU GET BY THE SALESMAN. A LITTLE PUSHY, BUT MANAGEABLE. GOOD INSTALLERS, CLEANED UP WELL. APPEARANCE FROM STREET GOOD AND COLOR CHOSEN CORRECT. WOULD USE AGAIN.

MISCOMMUNICATION BETWEEN SALES REP AND HOME OFFICE. SALES REP SAID THEY SHOULD BE INSTALLED BY MEMORIAL DAY, BUT THEY WERE NOT. GUTTERS LOOK FINE. DID NOT DO AS GOOD OF A CLEAN-UP JOB AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED. FOUND A SHARP PIECE OF METAL AND SMALL PIECES OF GRATE IN MY YARD AND NEIGHBORS YARD. VERY PERSONABLE DURING INSTALLATION. SHOWED UP AT 11:30 INSTEAD OF THE SCHEDULED 2-3:00, WHICH WAS GOOD. SALESMAN WAS TERRIFIC.

THE SALESMEN EXPLAINED CLEARLY AND COMPLETELY WHAT WAS TO BE DONE. FOLLOWED UP PROMPTLY AND THE JOB WAS DONE NEATLY.

THEY WEREN'T ABLE TO KEEP THE ORIGINAL INSTALL DATE AS PROMISED, BECAUSE OF SCHEDULING ISSUES, OTHERWISE I WAS PLEASED WITH PRODUCT. THE SALESPERSON WORKED WITH ME TO GET THE PRICING TO MY LIKING.

PRICES: THEY START WITH ABSURD HIGH PRICES. KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT AND YOU'LL GET THE BEST PRICE AVAILABLE. SEND THEM HOME AND THEY CALL BACK WITH EVEN MORE REBATES. QUALITY: SEVERAL FRAME FEATURES USE VERY OLD TECHNOLOGY, BUT THEIR GUARANTEE APPEARS TO BE THE BEST. GOOD THING...YOU'LL PROBABLY NEED IT...OFTEN! PROFESSIONALISM: COMPANY USES A 'KIRBY VACUUM' CLEANER SALES APPROACH, WHICH CAN REALLY WEAR YOU OUT. PERSONALLY, I DON'T LIKE THAT. THEY SPENT 30 MINUTES ON WARRANTIES, MOST OF THE REST OF 3 HOUR 'DEMO' FOCUSED ON THEIR GLASS/HEAT RETENTION ASPECTS. THEY SPENT VERY LITTLE TIME ON FRAMES. OVERALL: HIGH-PRESSURE SALES, INFERIOR WINDOW FRAMES, FIRST PRICES OFFERED ARE FOR THE MEEK. SUPERIOR GUARANTEE. GLASS IS GREAT. KEY TO SUCCESS WITH THIS CO.: PATIENCE REQD. FOR BEST PRICE! TOLERANCE FOR LIKELY FRAME PROBLEMS. IN ALL FAIRNESS: THE GUYS WORKED HARD TO PLEASE US, AND THEIR GLASS IS AS CLOSE TO BREAK PROOF AS I'VE SEEN (AND I SAW A LOT).

EXCELLENT AT RESOLVING SPECIAL PROBLEMS WITH GUTTERS AND DRAINS. METICULOUS IN FOLLOW UP AND RESOLVING MINOR PROBLEMS. VERY IMPRESSIVE OVERALL.
