Great job. I had two trees removed one was very large near my house & garage plus electrical & cable wires. The team got the job done safely and did a nice job with clean up.

Do NOT hire this company. The owner is rude and discourteous, and his crew left trash in my yard, damaged a drain in my neighbors yard, pulled the electric line TWICE - and this was after I had the electric company take the line down for the first day. I now need to hire an electrician to fix the damage to the house. Crew came late on first day, did a side job for a neighbor while I was paying for their time. And the owner blamed ME for the line being slumped to the ground on day 2 when I returned from work. I nearly walked into it! This company and the owner are just awful.

The quoted price was very fair for the work involved. I must complement the owner, Paul Dotson, for putting together a great team of five workers. They arrived at 9:30 am and left at 5:00 pm. They took about 15 minutes to eat lunch and worked hard all day to complete the project exactly the way I wanted it, leaving after a thorough cleanup. I couldn't be more pleased.

Paul and he crew drove to Marion from Columbus. He stated he would do me right and he did just that!!! I was actually out of town on business the day he came, but my neighbor stated he and his crew worked very hard... Non-stop!!! They did a great job and was more than reasonable with the price. Thank you Paul and your crew... Great job and I will certainly spread your name to anyone else asking about having any tree service done.

They were great! They cut the brush back away from my house and trimmed all the trees away from my house. I couldn't believe how much better my house looked when they finished. I will definitely call them again. The men were very professional and made sure I was satisfied before they left. Thank you very much for a job well done.

Great, Paul came out and provided an estimate for the work and got us on the schedule. Price was fair. Workers showed up as scheduled, did the work, cleaned up afterwards and were very nice and answered our questions. Would hire again for sure.

I cannot make enough recommendations for Grants Tree Service. Paul was very responsive to my messages, understanding when I misunderstood the date and time of our first meeting kindly rescheduling, and very knowledgable. He walked the property with me and noted all the items we wanted trimmed or removed. He did not hesitate when asked to tackle honeysuckle run amok. He quoted me a more than fair price for the work to be completed. For removed shrubs and the honeysuckle all stumps and roots were also removed - as in gone! I can find no sign they were ever present in any of the areas. The work crew cleaned up every bit of debris. We have had three other companies completed similar work at nearly double the cost of GTS. The work was completed in spring and though we have had an extremely wet season no honeysuckle has yet to return. That alone speaks volumes for the quality of work. Will definitely have Grants Tree Service back the next time we need our trees/shrubs trimmed or removed.

Grants Tree Service did great job. I worked with Paul Dotson through Angie's List's messaging feature to schedule an quote. He showed up on time and after looking at the trees, he gave me a verbal quote to remove 1 tree and thin out 6 others. I asked when he could perform the work and he said his guys were in the area and could be out within the hour. I had him move forward. The guys came out, did the work, and cleaned everything up. Cory, the arborist, was great! He was very knowledgeable, even giving advice on things he noticed around our house. He also walked me through everything when they were still cleaning up so I didn't have to get caught in the impending rain. Overall A+!

Grants Tree service did an outstanding job! 6 trees and stumps removed. Completed all in one day. Cleaned up all the branches and debris. Even got the stump that was right in the fence line. Not sure how they did it but they did not damage the fence at all. Obtained 4 quotes for the job. They were not the lowest cost but not the highest either. Would highly recommend them and I would hire them again.

Rough start. With an appointment time of 9am, at about 10am, I received a text that they would arrive between 3pm-4pm. After responding that the later time would not not work, they were able to make it at about 12 noon. Once here, the service was great. It was a tight squeeze, but the guys were very careful not damage the fence or gate while moving the grinder. The job and cleanup were thorough.

They did a great job! The crew arrived when promised. They efficiently and professionally completed the work. They cleaned up when they were completed. I would definitely recommend them and I would use them again.

I have priced between 3 Angie's List's recommended arborists, and found Grant's to be the best value for the job sought. One company was unable to do stump grinding, while the third company was twice as much. His crew were professionally trained, and was able to complete the job the same day in two hours flat. The reason being was due to having the best equipment on hand including a cherry-picker, a grinder truck, and appropriate power tools. Their cleanup was equally as amazing, as they cleaned up as they went along the task and it was as if they never came. The pile of chips left from the stump grinding was the only clue that they were even there! I would hire them in a heartbeat. Daniel M. Grove City, OH

I requested a quote and received no response.

I got an estimate on Monday. They thought 7-10 days. I got a call on Wednesday saying that they had an opening. The call was at 1130am and the tree was gone by 245pm.

Paul was the first service provider to respond to my request for estimates, within 24 hours of my initial contact. His proposal was fair and competitive with other providers. He was able to schedule the work for the next business day. His team of 4 men were efficient and careful while removing the tree from nearby my house, with no damage to any property. They have an impressive amount of equipment and I highly recommend using this company!

The work was completed as described in the estimate. The service providers were careful to fully clean up all the trimmings. They talked with us during the project to ensure our expectations were being met.

I contacted Grant's Tree Service to get an estimate for removal of 2 very large (60ft+) and 1 smaller tree and grind the stumps. Paul came and gave me an estimate. After getting a few others to compare it, I decided to go with Grant's Tree Service. I am very glad I did. The workers worked hard, made sure to not damage any property, and also cleaned up well. I was impressed that they even came on a weekend to ensure the work was done. I also appreciate that they waited until good weather so that my yard was dry enough to not get damaged. I'm not sure all companies would have done that. My neighbors were also very impressed and one of my friends saw their worked and used them as well.

Paul was very responsive to my initial call. He returned my call within 45 minutes. Met us at the house that same day and gave us a quote. The tree was very large and leaning over a neighbors garage. The very next day they called in the afternoon to say they were were on their way. It started storming so hard they were not able to even start. They kept me in the loop the entire time. The next week they were onsite and this time weather cooperated and they were able to complete the job to perfection. Very pleased. Will keep their number and have already referred a couple of friends.
