Grants Tree Service

This tree was spreading into power lines in three directions, roots were damaging the sidewalk, and a small leak had recently started in the basement so the tree needed to be taken down. I spoke with Paul Grant on Tuesday and he came out to give me an estimate within an hour or so. We agreed on what needed to be accomplished and the price to do it. He said he could probably get to it by the end of the week and called me on Wednesday to say they could be out on Thursday. This seemed to me that it was going to be a difficult job due to all the surrounding power lines. But the guys (Josh and John) arrived about 9:15 and got the work started. They were using a bucket to maneuver around the tree and power lines. I was very impressed with the attitude and skill of the workers. They used a variety of machines/equipment that made the job go easier and faster for them. The tree also stretched into a neighbor's yard and they tried to be sure all the branches were pushed so that they came into my yard. They cleaned up what little did go into the neighbor's yard. All the smaller wood was chipped and the larger sections moved to their truck on a small forklift sort of machine. All the work was done and the clean up completed about 5:15. Very happy with the results :)

Paul Dotson answered the phone and met us at home for an estimate within 24 hours. I asked that the work be completed by a specific date. The work was done by that date. Mr. Dotson and his team were punctual, polite, listened to our concerns, answered our questions, and consulted with us before anything was done. We asked them to cut down 11 trees...mostly 12-14" diameter. The trees felled on the fencerow were to be cut up. The trees that were deeper in the woods were felled in the direction that we asked when possible and were left in place at our request. Because 3 of the trees were dangerous to fell, the crew had to use a cherry picker and back into a very tight space. This was done with great care, precision, & minimal damage. We are repairing a few small ruts in our back yard; though, Mr. Dotson had explained when he made his estimate that this could happen. We felt it was worth it to have the trees removed in the safest manner possible. One extra dead tree was removed at no additional charge since it stood where one of the trees had to fall. In the front yard, we had a dying Colorado Blue Spruce, which the crew felled and chipped. The job took about 7 hours. The price was very reasonable and remained the same as the estimate. We recommended Grants Tree Service to 2 different neighbors who had equally good experiences. We noticed that the quality of their tree trimming was perfect on our neighbor's tree. We highly recommend this firm for trimming and felling.

Paul, Josh and their crew did a great job. They arrived on time, completed the work I had requested, and cleaned up nicely. They were very professional throughout the entire process. For the amount of work required, I got great value for what I paid. I highly recommend them if you need some tree work done.

I will definitely call them again for any other tree removal.

The owner -Paul-is great to work with. He is very responsive. From giving an estimate to the end he is very hands on. Came out on a Sunday to explain the bid to coming out late at night after the work was done. Also offered the best price. I will hire them again And so should you.

Came 1 day after doing estimate. Reasonable pricing. Removed the two trees originally requested, plus removed another tree that was requested on site after they started work. Stumps were ground down about 8 inches under ground. Sawdust/dirt mixture remained. Be sure to specify if you want the stumps ground down further. I understand they can go about 18" down.

Paul was super flexible about coming out to provide a quote. He talked through everything his team would do and priced us on the spot. He was charging almost half the price as other tree services! The team came out the next day - unfortunately a few hours later than we had planned. But they got to work quickly and were done in no time! They cleaned up everything, you wouldn't even know they were there! We will definitely use Grants Tree Service whenever we need in the future!

Very well, tree was cut down the stump was removed and wood hauled away.

Paul was very responsive and able to schedule the job a few days after coming out for a quote. The services I requested were completed to satisfaction and at a price significantly better than a couple other companies.

Paul came the very morning I called for an estimate. Provided me an estimate an hour later and said workers could be there that afternoon to do the job. Workers came on time and did a fantastic job. Area was cleaned up and job done quickly. I would definitely recommend them as the price was fair and job was done very well.

Paul came to the house shortly after contacting the company & provided an estimate of work to be done. Two workers, Josh & John, brought a bucket truck and shredder the next day. They arrived on time & got right to work. They had to work around power lines & handled them carefully. Both men were professional & knowledgeable about the work that need to be done. They did a fine job of cleaning up the area after the work was done.

The owner came out and provided a quote the same day I inquired about their services. Three days later, the job was completed. All cuttings were removed from property and areas where stumps were ground out was raked and leveled. Would not hesitate to hire again.

Wonderful service performed quickly and punctually. Responsive to my initial inquiry and follow up messages. The crew cleaned up all the limbs and cut the wood up for us. Excellent price and would definitely call them again for any tree services. We did not have the stump removed.

When I first reached out they were quick to respond and even made multiple trips out to my house to try to connect with me to walk through the job and provide an estimate. I got a very reasonable estimate and worked to schedule the job. They were very accommodating in scheduling. Day off, they arrived promptly and worked very efficiently to complete the work. The pruned maples look fantastic and they got the large branch out without any issues. They did an adequate job trimming up the hornbeams and the other sets of bushes and shrubs. They cleaned up very well, and overall, my wife and I were very pleased with the work they completed. We would definitely use them again.

Wonderful. Requested quote at noon on Saturday. Work completed by 7pm Sunday, on what must have been the hottest day of the year. Pretty amazing! Great communication. Paul called at 5pm to let us know the crew would arrive in an hour. They showed up on time. Worked efficiently, great clean-up. They took all debris with them. Really appreciated Paul going out of his way adjusting crew schedules & working on a Sunday, to accomplish this for us ASAP. We would definitely hire them again & will happily refer them to any of our friends or neighbors in need of their services. We felt Paul's rate was extremely reasonable. Did not have the work done, but Paul was very responsive, personable, and knowledgeable. We ended up not having the work done because of other circumstances, but I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.
