I called German Village Handyman on 11/25/13 and explained the work that I needed done. He assured me the jobs I had requested to be done were, and quot;exactly what he did,and quot; and that i wasn't far from his home. He explained he was currently doing a and quot;huge reconstruction job,and quot; and asked if he could return my call on December 6, 2013. To date (December 14, 2013) I have not received a call to schedule the work

He did an excellent job.

His name is Stanley Miller. I live in German Village and I used him because he was close to my house. He's on Angie's List, but he doesn't have any reviews. He pretty much remodeled my bathroom, but I knew what I wanted done. He was very clear about what he was doing. He was very honest about the hours that he was available to work. He was very accommodating. He actually spent a lot of time running around picking up all the new supplies after he assessed the need. I found him to be very comfortable and pleasant to work with. I felt that he kept me totally informed and asked for my advice. He kept me informed so that there were no surprises. He was very honest about what he did do and what he didn't do. For instance, he doesn't climb out on roofs and do things. He said that he wouldn't do anything on the upstairs windows and on the roof. I hadn't planned on that either, but he was upfront and did let me know that, that was something that he doesn't do. I appreciated that. He also told me that he was able to do everything else as a handyman. He wasn't a guy who likes to start at 8 in the morning which I appreciated because I don't like somebody in my house at 8 in the morning. He's a nice fellow. He does a good job and he knows where to find things that are needed. He also gives good information about what he's doing, the time it's going to take and how many supplies he has to buy. He did a very good job. I would use him again in the future. He's going to be my latest handyman for little things around the house.

Quite frankly, the handyman was very nice, but I think the job was too large for them. The door still does not close right. The job took longer than we had anticipated and the price was not as estimated.

As always, it was perfect. The gate was pretty tricky but he figured out how to put it in so that it maximizes the space in my son's room so he doesn't have access to EVERYTHING, but feels like he can get to whatever he needs to. The drawer was fixed, the crib was disassembled, and the back door screen looks brand new! As usual, I left him a key, and he came in while I was at work and left without a mess and leaving everything looking professionally finished.
