Description of Work: Adjusted the length of a Velcro strap on my shoes. I've always been happy with the work that this shoe repair shop does. I believe there might be a new owner but not sure. He was very pleasant. The other cobbler was a little abrupt when dealing with customers but his expertise was great. I haven't found a better shoe repair shop near me.

 + -1 moreBefore I walked into the shop I decided to photograph the boots that were going in for cleaning/repair. I wanted a before and after look. They were fairly new boots that needed some minor restricting and minor cleaning. When I walked into the shop the 30/40 something gentleman was on the defensive from the start... I asked if he could clean & repair the suede boots that lie before him... right away he said NO without out much consideration... only to quickly reply, "WHY DID YOU PHOTOGRAPH THE BOOTS?, WHY?" I told him I wanted a before & after look. They were very expensive boots and I can only assume he knew that and did not want to take the risk of making them worse then they where. He refused to take the job without any recommendations on where I could go. VERY VERY unfriendly Service Repair man. My advice, if you're asking, Please engage all customers who walk through your door with a kind courteous greeting, regardless of whether or not you take their business.  + -1 moreI called them to ask questions on if they could help me, the gentleman was short with me & rude. Mocked me with a co-worker when he found out they were plastic soles! I ended up going to Newark Cleaners & Shoe Repair...Loved them! THEY WERE MORE AFFORDABLE AND THE BOOTS NOW HAVE LEATHER SOLES!!
Description of Work: I called to see if they could fix the cracking plastic bottoms of my daughter's cowboy boots. These boots were inexpensive but still have alot of history for her so they were her favorites.
