We recently had an incident where we needed a pet stain cleaned. We called the store we purchased the sectional from, (5353 Tuttle Crossing Blvd. Dublin, Ohio 43016). They transferred us to the service department, which never answered. I called three times and they never picked up). I tried another day, and the service department did not pick up. On the third day, the associate who takes all incoming calls took a message to the department because I had not yet been able to get in touch with them. I never heard back. Today... weeks later, I called back to speak to manager. The manager was off today. An associate was able to get somebody from service to take my call. The service associate was immediately defensive - telling me they left me multiple voicemails, (not true). (If they called - they did not leave any messages). I began to explain about the service I was seeking. She was extraordinarily condescending and told me that they likely would not be able to help since the stain had been on the couch for a couple of weeks. (Note - I called the day we noticed the stain... it took several weeks to finally get through to the service department). Short Version: We liked the store and shopping experience at Front Room Furniture, (5353 Tuttle Crossing Blvd. Dublin, Ohio 43016. The sales staff was very friendly and politely answered our questions - and helped us make decisions. The sales staff sold us an extended warranty that sounded fabulous and easy to use. They mentioned that an extended warranty would pay for itself on one cleaning. The fabric protection they provide would protect against bodily fluids, wine, pet stains, etc. They said if a stain ever needed cleaning the service would clean the entire furniture piece so that one spot would not look cleaner than other parts not cleaned. We had an occasion where we needed to use the warranty for a pet stain. Getting through to the service department was very difficult (took weeks to finally speak in person to someone)... and when we finally did - they were extraordinarily condescending and very UNHELPFUL. Based on my shopping experience I thought VERY HIGHLY of FRF. Based on my experience with the service department, I will NEVER SHOP there again and would recommend others to look elsewhere. We have purchased furniture from other reputable companies and were never treated this way if/when a service was needed.

I love the furniture and the price was very fair. The saleswoman very helpful. My one concern is that, at the store, staff led me to believe that delivery was flexible. When it was time to schedule delivery, the reality was that they left a message for me with a day and a 10-hour window. When I called back and expressed concern that I could not commit to a 10-hour window, there was not much room for negotiation, other than a slightly shorter window for evening delivery (6-hour window). Once the furniture did arrive, the delivery staff were very friendly and helpful.
Description of Work: I purchased a sofa, loveseat, chair, cabinet, lamp, and area rug.

I was informed that the company only delivers to that area once per month. I spent nearly 45 extra minutes at the showroom while they set up the delivery for Thursday, 12/29/16. Since I live two and a half hours away from the delivery location, I also arranged with several other vendors for deliveries to occur that same date. The week before the scheduled delivery, I was contacted by Front Room Furnishings and advised that the delivery would actually take place on Tuesday, 12/27/16. When I advised I had already been given a "guaranteed" delivery date of 12/29/16, I was told this was a mistake and they would not honor their commitment. Because I had multiple appointments already scheduled in Columbus for 12/27/16, I contacted the corporate office and asked if they would at least use the key in my lock box on the front door to deliver the items and was told they couldn't do that because that could cause a "he said, she said" situation (now impugning my character on top of everything else). Due to their incompetence and refusal to work with me in any way, I had cancel/reschedule a number of appointments, take an additional vacation day and make an additional 5-hour round-trip drive to accept this delivery. I have since been informed that they make deliveries using lock boxes all the time, which made this extra trip a total and complete waste of my time. They have lost me as a future customer, which is a shame because I really liked their furniture.
Description of Work: I am furnishing a new condo near Lake Erie and purchased a powered recliner couch and chair.

There were very punctual and called ahead of time. We were told that the furniture arms are only stapled on, not nailed in place. I was surprised because I was under the impression that their products were of good quality. He did fix the arm of the couch and we are not able to recline both sides. I had to do a little clean up after their drilling and pounding.. But not terribly bad. The two gentlemen were polite, and solved the problem, with no additional charges. I don't think I would use this provider in the future, not because of the repair service, but because I am dissatisfied with the quality of their products.
Description of Work: A rather expensive couch that we had purchased several months before was honestly falling apart. It is a double recliner. Only my husband and I live in our home, so there is minimal use of the furniture. Two gentlemen repaired the left arm of the sofa, that was literally falling off.

Description of Work: This is the second time that we have bought a product from Front Room Furnishings. The first time we bought 2 reclining leather couches and and reclining leather chair that are electrical. We have had them for over 2 years and absolutely love them. The product is very good quality. Before purchasing them, we spent the day going to several other furniture stores seeing if we could get a better deal. We had visited Front Room first. But alas, after 5 or 6 different stores, we returned to Front Room and bought from them. We have no regrets! This time, we visited them first. The guy that helped us was EXCELLENT! He listened to every argument and concern I had about quality, color, style, and not having a clue what I wanted. He patiently walked with us and helped me work through our decision. He were in the process of starting from scratch in our basement and I was overwhelmed at the decisions and didn't trust what I liked. He even recommended a carpet dealer for us. We left, having not bought anything, to go look at carpet. When we came back, he had taken pillows and blankets and put them on the couch so that we could get a better idea of design. We brought back sample carpets and he helped us decide what would look best by putting it all together. He was amazing. We ended up purchasing a sectional that reclines in four of the areas. WE will receive that tomorrow. We could not have it until the carpet was installed. Front Room was gracious to hold it for us until we were ready. I highly recommend them.

The lady that helped us select furniture was very knowledgable about the furniture and answered questions we had as we looked around the showroom. The checkout process was a little awkward. When we were halfway home, something made me look at the receipt again and we discovered they had made a $1,000 error on the bill (saying I owed $1,000 more than I did). We had to stop and call them to get it corrected. Everything on their receipt is hand written and sloopy which was how the error was made.
Description of Work: We purchased a Lane sofa recliner and rocker recliner. Very comfortable and looks nice. The rocker recliner makes a horrible thud/click sound when you rock, no matter how little/much you move. The store model didn't make that kind of noise. We turned the chair over to see if there was anything lose we could fix ourselves but couldn't find anything. We were old that the Lane line of furniture was very high quality. I was shocked to discover that the bottom and sides of the chair were nothing but cardboard and a lot of it was severely torn! For what we paid, I was very disappointed. I've been waiting a month now for the rocker to be replaced. It was good that they offered to do that. We're hoping the 2nd one doesn't have issues. We're still disappointed that fairly expensive furniture has so much cardboard in it.

was in the market for a new LR sofa and two chairs. Laura and Front Room Furnishing at Tuttle Crossing was very helpful as I had an idea of what I wanted. She was thoughtful of my concerns and made suggestion options. We picked out fabrics and even took outside in natural light to be sure for coordination. I was kept informed by the company, although sometimes I would get a call from two different people regarding delivery of different pieces and would be told two different dates. There seemed to be a lack of communication within the warehouse. But everything got worked out and I am very pleased with my selections.

We had checked out several other local furniture stores before finding a great deal up at the Polaris Front Room Furnishings location. The sales people were very friendly, but not too pushy or overbearing as we browsed their selection. Our couch, ottoman, and chair were all in stock at the warehouse and delivered in less than three days. Our rug had to be custumed ordered from the manufacturer and took 30 days. However, unlike a lot of other companies, Front Room Furnishings called us with updates on the rug's status. The only downfall was when the rug was delivered and rolled out on our floor, it was not the correct color. It took an extra three days to track down our rug, which had been accidentally mismarked and switched with another similar rug.

We shopped at the store near Tuttle Mall. We were greeted by Jennifer B.(I do not want to misspell her last name!) and explained that we were purchasing furniture for a new home. I also explained that I am not that great at matching/decorating, and she assured me that she would assist us when we got to that point. My husband and I spent over 2 hours looking and sitting and asking questions. Never once did she act like we were imposing on her. We had to come back another day since we realized that we were now purchasing furniture for a different room. So, we began again, and were there for another 2 hours. Jennifer helped us pick out fabric based on carpet and paint samples...it was so nice to have this help! We were told that our furniture would arrive on May 17th. The furniture arrived about two weeks early. The delivery guys were great. The only hitch was our pillows did not arrive at the same time. Not a big deal.

Although I went to the store looking for furniture during their grand opening, there was still someone to answer all of my questions. They treated me with respect (even though I am younger and showed up with a sweatshirt on). They were not pushy, their prices were great and they were very up front about the time it would actually take to custom order some items. After I received my furniture, they called and sent me a letter asking how my experience was. If I had to go back and purchase my new home furniture again, I would have purchased everything from them. I have had many experiences with furniture stores over the last few months, and this company outshines any others that I purchased from!
Description of Work: I purchased a coffee and an end table from them. I was surprised at the overall selection, and quality or the furniture compared to other furniture stores. Their prices seemed comparable, if not lower than some of the major competitors.
