Description of Work: We have a two-story Cape Cod style house of approximately 2,500 square feet with aluminum siding and wood trim. It was last painted in 2001, and we felt the painters at that time did a very shoddy job with the wood trim beginning to chip within just 3-4 years. We chose Fresh Touch Custom Painting because of our conversation with Mark Tabor, the owner, and the company's stellar ratings on Angie's List. We weren't disappointed. | |The house was power washed two days prior to painting. Mark's crew spent much time prepping the house prior to painting: scraping and sanding to remove loose and chipping paint, caulking all gaps and holes, pounding in loose nails, and priming bare wood. This left a great deal of paint flakes around the house, and the crew carefully removed the debris. Fully one-third of the time they were on the job was devoted to preparation. | |The actual task of painting went relatively quickly. All downspouts were removed before painting. The siding was spray painted with two coats of Sherwin Williams Superpaint, and the wood trim, gutters, and downspouts were brush coated with two coats of the same paint. The front door was painted, but we chose not to paint the fiberglass garage doors. We replaced the shutters rather than painting them. | |We were thrilled with the job that was done. The early summer was difficult for painting because of the frequent rain, but Mark kept in touch by email as he scheduled work around the rainy days. His crew was very polite and took obvious pride in their work. They took great care around the landscaping to avoid damaging anything and cleaned carefully at the end of each day. The foreman took me around the house to inspect it when they had finished, and Brian came out a week later to follow up also. | |A frequent complaint about many service providers is lack of communication. Mark Tabor is always quick to respond to both phone calls and email messages. He went above and beyond to respond to a question while he was on his vacation. I recommend this company without reservation.

Description of Work: Fresh Touch gentleman Greg power washed my 3 story home on Wed July 22, 2015, and my team of painters led by Rubin, 2 brothers and 2-3 friends took time to fully scrape old peeling paint, caulked everything, then got into painting all wood trim and every inch of aluminum siding that started promptly at 8AM Thursday July 23-Sat July 25. What a team of very prompt,friendly professionals who worked every day diligently until approx. 6PM every day. They are a team of respectful gentlemen with me and with each other. The siding on the north side was treated by the power washer for mildew, did a great job. My painters were AMAZING!! The siding on my home had never been painted before, and a lot of the woodwork was in bad shape needing scraped. At the end of each day they cleaned up which I appreciated. On the 3rd/last day (Saturday) they took their time in completing all of the finer detailed work especially on the front porch which was a real mess. Rubin's team went above & beyond taking much care to protect my landscaping as well - and there's a LOT of trees close to the house. Upon completion, Rubin, my husband and me walked all around the property to look at the house. Can I tell you how totally IMPRESSED and BLOWN AWAY at just how gorgeous our home looks now??!! We WILL have this same team back to do our unattached garage in a year or so, that's how GREAT my team is!!! SO glad I found Fresh Touch Painting on Angie's list and YES I HIGHLY recommend Mark Tabor's team to do all of your interior and exterior painting needs. From Mark (owner) to Brian, estimator, to Jeff, who did the final walk-around with me, all paid special attention to our needs, gave us a very fair price, we are so glad we had this work done - money WELL spent for sure!!

Description of Work: Painted all trim, garage and other exterior doors. Prior to painting power washed, patched, calked and prepped all surfaces. All of our interactions from the estimate to the final walk through were wonderful. We will have them back to do interior painting soon. You can't ask for a better crew or management team.

He came out, completes job, gave me a day to make sure the results were up to my standards and only then charged me. I used them for interior and exterior painting.
