Description of Work: I ordered a total house power cleaning. Although my house was not overly dirty ( I thought), i wanted to get some areas cleaned and then assess if they needed painted. I was very surprised at how good my house looked after Fresh Touch Custom Painting finished, and areas I did not think would come clean, looked great. I think this will be a part of home maintenance from now.

Description of Work: I was told the appointment was at 8am,they showed up 8:40am. The person in charge seemed very hurried to do the job and get out. Two painters arrived, they said 4hrs painting instead of 8hrs because two guys came. In 4 hrs, they ONLY painted 2 ceilings. They even cut corners by not edging where the celing and wall meet. They painted about an inch down from the ceiling on the wall to be faster. The painter in charge said "this way the could finish the job faster." They got paint on hanging lamps. I am not a professional painter. However, I strongly feel that for 2 proffesional painters painting for 4 hrs, did not accomplish much. They should have been able to finish much more than what was done. Thanks.

We appreciate you leaving a review and purchasing an (8) Hr coupon. These coupons are great for renting a painter or painters for a day. We receive such great feedback w/ these coupons and they have allowed us to build new customer relationships so receiving and "F" catches our attention especially w/ the hundreds of A's we have received. We have never had an "F" grade in our (10) yr history on Angie's List, due to our customer satisfaction guarantee and quality work we bring to the table. Our guys arrived at 8:10 due to having trouble finding your home and they also worked until 1:00, which is (2) total hrs over the coupon value. You never were charged for those additional hours. They were not rushing at all and in fact stayed longer so you would not be left w/ half painted ceilings. You purchased a $200.00 coupon and were requesting $1,000 - $1,200 worth of ceiling work to be painted for the $200 value. We were very clear that you could get one painter for (8) hrs or two painters for (4) hrs each and they would do their best to get what you wanted completed. We told you we would not get all of this done and we could either provide you an estimate or you could purchase more coupons. Your wife communicated to the us that since she was painting the walls it was ok to get ceiling paint on the walls. She did not want us spending time perfectly cutting in the ceiling since she was going to be painting the walls and it would help get more surface completed. This is standard practice when painting walls and ceilings that you can get paint on the walls. You are talking a 1in white line around the walls which is how it should be done when painting walls. If you were not painting your walls like what was communicated then by all means you tape off the walls and perfectly cut in the ceiling. We painted the whole 1st floor, stairwell and hallway ceilings so I am not sure why you are saying we only painted a few ceilings. That is moving very efficiently and for the $200 coupon value that is a heck of deal. Upon arrival you had nothing ready for our workers & we spent the first portion of the allowed time moving furniture and applying plastic to all your belongings. This is exact wording on the coupon you purchased. "Excessive prep (large repairs), moving and protecting of furniture can be done, but this labor is included in the eight hours" We also have a Quality Control department and can remove a paint drip off a lamp. That is an accident and can easily be fixed. We will be more than happy to return to remove the drip for you. If I had an experience like you said you had I would have called the owner directly to express my disappointment and concerns and asked to get the problem resolved or my money back and you did not do tha but instead just gave us a "F". It is hard to make things right or better explain results if you just tell us things look great then leave an "F" review. I truly hope future clients reading this review understand this review does not reflect the values and quality of our company. Thank you Angie's List for giving us a platform to also comment on the jobs!!!

We appreciate you being a repeat customer and purchasing a pressure washing coupon. I am sorry you feel that you did not receive a quality pressure wash. You had us wash your home last year and we had the same results and you hired us again. I guess I am confused by the review. We talked w/ your wife and informed her your wood trim is in bad shape and needs scraped and painted. We are not contracted to paint your home so we cannot thoroughly apply pressure to a peeling surface. You would have had paint chips all over the place. If we would have removed the peeling paint we would have been liable to paint your trim. We can only light rinse due to the condition of your trim. Your stucco came out great and has minor staining due to be a porous surface and stains embedding themselves in the stucco. I would think after being a repeat customer you would of contacted me to discuss the results. It is really obvious your trim needs painted. I apologize we could not do more for you. I would recommend getting it painted so you do not have worse issues down the road. We hope to serve your painting needs in the future.
