My experience with Mark and FTC Painting was nothing short of perfect. Mark responded quickly when I requested an estimate and did a thorough job of walking through and examining all areas where work was needed. Since wallpaper removal can be unpredictable, he set my expectations for possible wall damage, although due to FTC's expertise in removing the wallpaper, no wall damage occurred. Pricing was extremely fair and Mark was quite patient with me even though I had never hired a painting contractor before. Mark even offered feedback on whether or not to paint over 1970's wood paneling or to remove it. Mark also was flexible with work hours and always followed up after his workers finished working. Their attention to detail in their painting was great. The only negative was about me because of my great delay in posting this review. I had thought I entered it before and was horrified to realize I had allowed such a great experience go without recognition. I would highly recommend FTC painting and will contact them for my future painting needs.

I purchased the $185.00 whole-house pressure wash on Sunday evening. I received an email back that night from Mark, the owner, telling me he could pressure wash the next day (Monday) if it was convenient. I agreed, and it was washed the next day. I asked him to give some speial attention to an area where there were grease marks on the siding from the grill. He explained that the grease stains would not come off as they are stains. However, he did provide extra attention to that area to see what could be done to improve the appearance. The house looks great. Good service, and Mark was very nice and professional. Mark came the following week and provided an estimate on paint-trim work; we haven't decided on that yet.

All of the work done I would rate A+ level. This included (1) a timely, explanatory, and reasonable estimate, (2) thorough power washing, (3) replacement of several disintegrating wood panels, patching and repair of a number of cracks in the faux stucco, and scraping and patching of smaller holes and gaps in both the wood and stucco, (4) a thorough and crisp paint job including at least two coats, and (5) friendly, personable service throughout. I couldn't have asked for more. Truly excellent work!

The owner came out the night before he left on vacation for the quote, I had my estimate in my e-mail the next day. It took a about a month to get started. Power wash crew came through on a Friday. Painting crew was there on the following Wednesday. It took 2 days. It looks great. I have received nothing but compliments from my neighbors. I would definitely use again

The overall service was excellent. Fresh Touch Custom Painting was able to accomodate us on a very tight schedule and even made us aware of an opening following a cancellation that fit even better into our schedule. The pressure washing was quick and thorough and the end result was excellent.

The technician arrived later than anticipated, but it was worth the wait.

The project went exceedingly well. An issue of paint coverage over previously caulked nail holes was resolved quickly and completely.

They also did the fence for me too. It was a very good experience. They communicated very well. They were very professional. I would use them again.

They kept me informed of everything they were doing. They were on-time and cleaned up after themselves. Mark was very helpful when choosing paint colors. He even painted 3 different samples on the house.

Mark, the owner, came to the house for a consultation, prepared an estimate, recommended a color consultant, finished the entire project effectively. Took 7 days to complete the project.

They were more responsive than the other company I got an estimate from and the price was about the same but the company I didn't use didn't include any repair work. The crew was prompt and professional. I had two issues with the job after they had left and they did return and correct the two issues without any hassle. I would use them again in the future.

They did the job perfectly. They did a great job in all aspects.

No problems with the pressure washing- a quick and easy job! We especially loved the $185 special for whole-house pressure washing. We got another estimate and the other estimate was $250.

They exceeded my expectations. Mark the owner is very detailed and responsive. He is a pleasure to work with. Very simply, what he promises, is what is delivered. His crew is extremely professional, thorough and like Mark, they pay great attention to detail. I had a job requirement to allow at least 24 hours between paint coats due to the replacement of house trim with PVC board. Rather than trying to move through the job with a quick 2nd qoute, Mark was happy to comply. They go above and beyond. Little things like when they discovered some rusting on the chimney chase, they took a photo and provided me with an email copy. The paint crew foreman, Robert was very easy to work with and ensures that a best in class job is performed. It is a pleasure, in this very competitive market, to turn loose a quality company on the investment in one's home and realise this level of quality work.

Very satisfied with the entire process. Prompt response to inquiry, low pressure estimate process, high quality work and good clean-up.

They were very busy so we had to wait quite a while before they were able to get started, but we weren't in a big hurry anyway. Once they got started they were quick and efficient. A few times I felt they hadn't done an adequate job of sanding and preping the badly peeled surface, but when I pointed it out, they fixed it immediately. They were also very patient as we tried to decide which color we wanted to use. I highly recomend them. They were nice folks and very accomodating.

Great job and response time for receiving estimate and starting job. When asked about the estimate/work agreement addressing the policy for not being responsible for damages or lost, owner informed that they do not hire any "yahoos or clowns"-something similar to that language. Received the painting consultanting for choosing of paint colors; however, I had to inform again because they stated the consultant did not let them know of the choices (did not understand the disconnect, because I had been coordinating very closely on this) Workers arrived on time and was responsive to questions/concerns. Appeared to be annoyed with some questions and concerns about performance/quality. Lead arrived and went over work details, progress etc. He asked if there was a "mud/slop" sink to use. He stated use would be to wash rags, brushes and be able to use a bucket. I informed there wasn't one and informed where the outside water faucet was. I stated the downstairs restroom could be used for minor washing, but not for paints or other materials, products, etc. Other workers arrived and I began to hear the kitchen water faucet go on/off. After about 3-4X, I inquired what was the purpose. The Lead, in a condescending manner stated, they were just mixing or washing the putty (or something) they were using. In the KITCHEN SINK?! when he just asked about a slop sink?! I again, informed and asked them to use the downstairs restroom. Later there was some substance that required cleaning out of the kitchen sink. Interesting, that after all work was completed, the water spigot in the restroom was gone and water gushed out. Don't know if it was removed, damaged, or broken off while they were just using the restroom or cleaning, mixing other products. No one mentioned it and it was not of a concern prior to their arrival.Estimate included removal of wall paper borders ($75) due to possible glue removal. I was present when two were removed and heard the workers indicate nothing was required because they just came right off without tools, materials, etc. This was a given costs because there was no labor, nor materials really used for this effort. Job est. was completion in 3-4 days, when the last day was approaching, the effort appeared rushed to complete by estimate time. Although previous discussion, organization was based on furniture moving/positioning, the worker to remove the border was persistent because he had another job to go to. As I was trying to move the room contents, he kept trying to remove the border without the furniture being out of the way. He stood on the edge of the mattress and the headboard trying to remove the border, although concern was expressed about any glue/paint falling onto the bed/headboard. Also, had discussion about new flooring protection. Although cloths were used, they were old with former paint on them. I provided furniture slides/cardboard for them to use on floors and carpeting. Numerous times, I had to pick up paint can lids, roller pans and other tools they were using and personally place them on cardboard or on their equipment bags. Great response and attention to concerns when job was finished, although both owner and lead again appeared, annoyed or felt they were above any errors that could occur. There were some spaces that did not receive the painting and a few walls that showed various strokes in the dried result. While the effort was made to address and correct the situation, comments were made that it was due to my choice of colors; although the selection of light or dark colors was not presented as an issue of concern. I was just asked if I would probably keep the same color scheme. At that time, I stated probably; however, when the consultant arrived with the color choices, decision was made based on what was presented. Again, no mention of any variation that would impact the work effort, after the seleciton was made. I also called the owner prior to date of work and informed that I had made the choices with the consultant. I still can view the dents that were made by the workers putting their tools/equipment on the flooring and have had to clean up paint smears/spots. It is quite understandable that there could be minor issues to deal with contracting for a service. While I allowed some issues to go by, I strongly believe, as a consumer, I had the right to address the issues I did; however, I felt the company due to their previous performances/awards, felt they were above any mistake, because each time it was either debated, such as, they used floor protection to move the furniture (yes, the ones, I provided) or when you selected this paint color, it required more coats. Although you could see there were various directions in the paint strokes and this was the room where the "accelerated" effort was taking place. Overall, was satisfied with the work and considered using again for outside work; however, because of the concerns/issues presented, did not have the best impression that the company was interesting in providing any more work at this address.

Mark Tabor , Owner, was very professional from the beginning to the end of the job. I wanted a color change but was not confident to change the color. Mark suggested and provided a exterior color designer free of charge, Mark made all the arrangements and the designer showed up and we made color choices which were subsequently beautiful. Mark also provided a powerwash free of charge as well. The power washer did an excellent job in getting all loose dirt, grime and grit off the house. The paint crew was very polite, professional and easy to work with. The job called for multiple colors of paint, there were no merging of paint, drips, bubbles or spots. The paint job was flawless. The crew worked continously and quickly until the job was done. They properly cleaned up after themselves and I can truly say they did an outstanding job and I will certainly let them do all my future paint jobs!

mark was amazing. He was always responsive, took initiative and did quality work. Really impressed with his (and his team's) work.

They were on time and did an excellent job and were very professional. They were very clean, neat and I was very impressed with them.

I took advantage of an Angie's list deal. Mark and I exchanged e-mails and set a date. I was at work and returned to find my house looking much cleaner. This was my first experience with pressure washing and I didn't realize that they do not wash windows or doors (too much chance of getting water inside). Everything looks good and I would be happy to take advantage of the same deal again.
