+ -1 moreWe were very happy with the service. He showed up on time, did a great job, and was careful not to damage some delicate plantings around the house. Unlike the last time we had powerwashing done by another company, the process did not appear to be doing any damage to the finish on some of our older aluminum siding. We used a "big deal," so the price was great; we added on a small amount to have him clean our concrete walk, which now looks like new. We would happily use them again.

+ -1 moreDespite a few tiny glitches, and what major construction project doesn't have them, the work was completed in a timely (even ahead of schedule) and professional manner. The end result is amazing! From color selection, to repairs, to application... the apaint has really tranformed the interior of our home. So much so that we can now see how horrible the master bedroom that we had recently painted looks. FTC will be out to paint the master bedroom, complete the priming and painting of the white portions of our stairs, and perform some minor touch up work when the hardwood has been stained and finished. We'd have no hestitation with recommending this business to our family and friends. Thanks for a job well done FTC!
Description of Work: We hired FTC to paint nearly the entire interior of our 2,200 sq foot home prior to having new hardwood flooring installed. Mark Tabor (owner) came to the house to discuss the project and there after promptly provided a written quote via email. Having the option to work with the Sherwin Willaims designer to select paint for each room was very helpful, espeically with such a large project. The work was promptly scheduled to accomidate our construction schedule despite this meaning that many things had to come together very quickly. The crew arrived at the house prompt on the selected date. The crew pole sanded and skim coated rooms that were painted with various Ralph Lauren paint finshes (sand and ventian plaster) prior to painting.

Description of Work: FTCP Stained our entire cedar house, including trim. They were very professional. They had us meet with a "color expert" from Sherwin Williams who helped us select the color of our house. I wanted to change from the color we had for many, many years. This was a free service and added tremendously to the value of our project. The color selected turned out to look fantastic. Mark was very professional and his crew did a great job. The only very minor hitch was that originally we wanted the house completed in the early summer, as our son was getting married in mid August. Mark sent us an email in the early summer indicating he was very backed up and might not get to us prior to the wedding. He asked if we still wanted him to perform the job. We said yes and resigned ourselves to the house being painted after the wedding. To our suprise Mark contacted us in late July and said he could start the job the next week and it would be done prior to the wedding. They did get 95% of the job done prior to the wedding (including the day before the wedding) which made things a tad hectic, but overall we were very, very satisfied. The crew cleaned up each day and every day and I really appreciated that. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Mark's company. I plan to use him again in the very near future on inside painting work

His crew member showed up on the dot! The crew member was courteous, a meticulous worker, totally careful with carpets and tracking in (and paint out,) and spotlessly cleaned up after himself. I would recommend and use this company without reservation.

I felt immediately at ease during his introduction of FTC Painting and shared with me an introduction of his company. He finished two hours before the estimated time and I can honestly say that it is the BEST, most precise, neat, perfect indoor contracted painting that I have ever seen. Not only am I recommending FTC Painting to Angie's List members but I will also share his business contact detail with friends and family members. Such a wonderful customer service experience a world that is sorely lacking in taking care of the customer. It is possible that he left the room and the utility sink cleaner than when he arrived!

He provided a competitive quote (I received separate quotes frrom 3 painters), suggested paint colors that are neutral but have enough "pop" that they enhance the appearance for a wide range of potential buyers, started and finished on time, and did a very good job overall. He ran into a few minor issues during the painting process but didn't try to nickel and dime us for extra costs. This is the second time that I've used him...the last time was to paint the exterior stucco and stain wood siding/trim of our house and he did a nice job then also which is why I came back to him on htis project.
Description of Work: Painted entire interior of a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo including great room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, closets, basement walls and basement floor, to prepare it for sale.

+ -1 moreFTC Painting was very easy to work with. After a bit of phone tag with the owner, we began communicating through email and it made things very easy and convenient. Our date was set and the painter arrived on time and began painting. The owner also came by to make sure everything was going well. Once completed, our bathroom looked amazing. The walls had been a shade of hot pink (which is why we needed to paint), and we had chosen a light green for the new color. After the job was done, the new green color looked amazing, and the painter had used two coats to cover the pink color. All of the trimming and edging was done to perfection, and there was a lot of it in this bathroom. I would highly recommend this company for the professionalism, the price, and the amazing job they did.

+ -1 moreI had purchased two coupons from Angie's List great deals for having a room painted for $129. I contacted Mark Tabor to arrange to have the work done. Mark and I exchanged a couple of e-mails and made an appointment for the work. After making the appointment I had some questions so I e-mailed Mark who was very prompt in answering my questions. I was told that the painters would arrive at 8:00 AM to start the work and would stay until the job was complete. On the day of the appointment the workers did arrive on time and once I showed them what was to be done they started immediately. The weather on the job day was snowy and the workers put down a tarp to cover my home entrance so as they went in and out to to get equipment they didn't track snow into our home. As described in the coupon details light drywall work was done and two coats of paint were applied. Except for taking a lunch break the painters stayed and completed the job very timely. I would highly recommend this company for any paint jobs big or small it is MONEY WELL SPENT! I will keep them in my phone for future reference.

We did have a bit of a hiccup with our scheduled date due to two customers having the same surname but other than that scheduling was easy. Anthony was the supervisor on the job and was extremely punctual and courteous and really puts you at ease about the work to be done. The quality of the work is excellent, no complaints, and undertaken in a timely fashion. Will definitely call on their services again when we need our next paint job done. Thanks guys!

+ -1 moreI called and emailed FTCP several times to initially set up the appointment and answer several other questions that came up. Every time the owner, Mark, was very responsive to calls and emails. I had to set the appointment up pretty far in advance which was expected since I am sure they were busy with servicing the Big Deals. However, when the painter came, he was right on time and got busy immediately. The painter was very nice and professional. I mentioned to him that I was not worried about getting paint on the carpet as it was going to be replaced. However, I have not seen any on the carpet yet. About 1/2 way through the day the owner stopped by to check up on how the project was going and if we were satisfied so far. I asked him to give me a quote to paint my basement ceiling because I had a few spots that I needed touched up and the new paint did not match the old. He gave me a quote and then decided to see if his ceiling paint matched my old paint any better. It didn't, but I thought it was very nice for him to try to save me money. I am planning to have FTCP come back and paint the basement ceiling.

+ -1 moreThe estimate was quick and Mark Tabor answered all of my questions in detail. I had a few other estimates with other companies and all were more expensive and less thorough than Mark. Both men that showed up the day of were very professional and made me feel comfortable about leaving them alone in my house. The manager of the project, Robert, was very friendly & answered all of my questions. I am so very appreciative that they stayed late to complete the job in one day, as it would have been incredibly difficult to rearrange my work schedule again. So I greatly appreciate their hard work & them being so kind about it. The paint colors look great, exactly what I was hoping for. And the edges along the ceiling & baseboards were very clean & straight, which the OCD in me really loved! All the holes were patched up and you can't even tell they were there. I am very pleased. Will highly recommend and use again.

He responded quickly and provided us with a reasonable quote. His team was available to do our work within a couple of weeks. The team was very polite and they did a great job. We had them fix and paint a small crack in a plaster ceiling, paint our 20 foot tall family room wall, paint two bedrooms and paint some wooded built in shelf/cabinet units. They paid attention to detail and we are very happy with the work!

+ -1 moreThere was some confusion about the address so they arrived a little late. And, their steamer kept kicking off our circuit breaker. But once they got started they completed both rooms in the alloted time. They did a good job. There was not enough time to do any wall repair, but we did that ourselves. The wallpaper came down in little strips so it was a big mess. But they cleaned it all up before they left. I was in a hurry to get this job done. I asked the owner to please call me if he had a cancellation. He did and we were appreciative of that.
Description of Work: This was an Angie's List Deal. They removed a wallpaper border in one room and wallpaper off the ceiling in another room. They used a steamer to get it off.

+ 0 moreThere were no problems with the job overall but our walls were in such bad shape we felt bad that we had to have Brian come back to apply more paint. He understood and never complained. I can't wait to have my other bathroom finished by them. I was just amazed how clean, professional and how great it turned out.
Description of Work: We took advantage of a deal we saw on Angie's list for painting. When I called I left a message and Mark promptly called back and we met to discuss the project of wallpaper removal and painting of the bathroom. Brian came to remove the wallpaper which was no easy task because it hadn't been installed correctly years ago. The walls underneath were very damaged which took a lot more effort on Brian's part to make sure the walls would be smooth enough to have a satin finish. The job took 2 days for the paper removal and prep and another day to paint. Brian took such great precautions not to track in and out and when he left we couldn't tell he had been there. When the paint dried we could see that it needed another coat and we called Mark back and he again was able to have Brian come back out within a few days to apply another coat and it looked amazing when he was finished.
