I purchased the service from Angie's List and was contacted immediately to schedule the pressure wash. They fit me in within a week and completed the work on a day that I was not home. When I arrived home, the house looked great and they left me a message summarizing everything that they did and checking on how I liked it.

I signed the contract with FTC in late June, but because of weather delays, they were not able to statrt until late Sept. I have never had a bad experience with Aggie's List contractors. FTC was no exception Robert and his crew did an excellnt job. The prearation was very good. They covered my shrubs, covered the roof next to the house, taped the windows. Robert was very articulate, careful, and detail oriented. They did not scimp on paint or materials. Robert expained what he was doing each day. The entire project tock 5 days. They stored thier ladder and supplies after ech day. My neighbors even commented on how they worked. My house looks great.. I just have to get used to my new red front door.

The showed up on time and got right to work.They were very professional, and finished the job when they said they would. Afterwards, they cleaned up the mess. Since then, we have had them back to do another area of our home.

Their service was great. My storm windows are original and so they are 80 years old. They look much better now. It worked out well for me. It was exterior painting and the day was rainy and messy so it took them a while to get it done. I have no complaints and would use them again.

Was very nice and professional. Did a good job on the lower half of the house, the upper not so great. Don't know if it was due to the size of the house but didn't get it very clean.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out excellent. We were really happy with the results. They came out a couple of weeks after purchasing the deal. They rescheduled twice which was a downfall to that. They were dead on the price and we were within the square footage requirement so there was no additional charge.

We were very pleased with the service from Fresh Touch Custom Painting. We had four interior rooms painted, and three of them had a lot of cutting in around doors and windows. The crew was very professional and did a quality job. The prep work took the longest amount of time, but it was very thorough, and the end result was a uniform finish with clean edges. The price we received from Fresh Touch was $300-$500 less than we were quoted by other companies, and the end product was fantastic. We would use this company again and recommend them to others.

They were on time, let us show them how we wanted our work completed. They moved our furniture completed the job and placed our furniture back the way we had it. Very good experience.

We were extremely pleased with the painting job that Fresh Touch did on our 1940 UA home in July of 2013. From the start, Mark Tabor, the owner, patiently listened to and addressed our questions and concerns. It was obvious that he was very knowledgeable about all aspects of painting. A crew of about three painters arrived each day at 8:00 am and sometimes worked as late as 7:00 pm to complete their goals. They were friendly, yet professional, respectful, polite, hardworking, and extremely accommodating. After a day's work, the crew's foreman showed us what they had accomplished, answered any questions we had, and explained what they would focus on the next day. The next morning before the painters started their work, the foreman always asked us if we had noticed anything about the previous day's work that concerned us. As the project progressed, we decided to add a few tasks to the painters' list, such as painting the inside of the window sills and the inside of the garage windows. The foreman and his crew aimed to please us in every possible way, so this was never a problem. They were very flexible. Our nearly 75-year-old redwood siding already had so many layers of paint that we were concerned another layer would make it look worse. But after thoroughly scraping off the loose paint, the painters sanded the edges of the remaining paint so they would blend better with the new paint layer. Also, window panes were carefully glazed and taped so that paint edges were perfectly straight. It was hard and dirty work, but the painters never seemed discouraged. In fact, they were all so pleasant to be around--often singing and joking among themselves as they worked. Each evening after a full day's labor, the crew cleaned up all paint chips on the patio and in the shrubbery beds. They also put away their ladders and other supplies so that nothing looked out of place. A few days after the project was completed, Mark Tabor came out to inspect the work and make sure we were pleased with the results. Of course, we were and would definitely hire Fresh Touch again to address our painting needs.

The Fresh Touch Painting crew did a great job painting all my exterior trim and fixing some damaged areas. They were very professional and kept the work sight very clean. Mark did a great job from start to finish. I have lost count on how many compliments that my neighbors have given me. I will definitely hire Mark and his crew for future painting jobs.

This is my second time using FTC and both have been good experiences. This job was delayed due to rain, however Mark communicated throughout the process to keep me updated on the timeline, which is important to me. Once it came time for the job, the crew was large enough to complete the job very quickly and left no traces behind. Would definitely recommend.

I did not have as good an experience as other reviewers. First, the good: The price was competitive with other estimates we received. Mark was very good with communication and kept me updated on the start date since it kept changing because of the rainy weather. The free color consultation with Sherwin Williams was great and I am very pleased with the colors they helped me choose. The crew cleaned up at the end of the day so well I couldn't tell they had been out. The repair job to my siding was so done so well that I can't even tell where the hole was anymore. The not-so-good: Let me preface this by pointing out that Mark has a 100% satisfaction guaranteed policy and he will send his crew out to fix what you are not happy with. The problem is when I had the crew out to fix problems the first time, they caused even more problems, and I don't trust them to come back and fix it! I will be having the contractor I hired to do my interior painting this fall fix the problems instead. Lack of attention to detail sums up the problems I have with the paint job. It seems every time I look at the siding around my exterior doors, I find new splotches of paint on it. Paint was splotched on the brand new weather stripping of both doors. The crew actually forgot to paint the back door frame and I had to point that out to them when I did a quick walk through with them at the end of the job. They finished up the door frame in 15 minutes, failing to caulk and fill in the 16 nail holes (this was a brand new door and door frame) and paint the wood at the bottom of the door threshold. There was paint on the brand new door hardware and on the windows of the doors. When I made these complaints to Mark, he did not hesitate to have his crew come out to fix things. I just wish they hadn't left more damage in their wake! They did remove the paint from the door hardware and the windows and cleaned the weather stripping off, but in the process of putting another coat of paint on the back door, they managed to get more paint on that weather stripping and did not clean it off. They painted the wood under the back door threshold and caulked the trim around the back door and painted it, but they did not fill in the nail holes. Mark says he did not see the nail holes when he was out looking around, but I'm not sure how you can fail to see 16 nail holes. He said that perhaps there was some shrinkage, but I can't imagine there would be that much shrinkage in all 16 holes. Mark also instructed them to apply more wood filler and repaint the front door frame, which they did, but in the process got paint on the doorbell and the house numbers (which they took off the first time they painted the frame but apparently did not take them off this time). An additional note: the crew leader who was fixing the problems spent the entire time he was working on the back door trim talking on the phone through his headset. Since I had them out late June, I have found more problems. The paint on the window frame of the back door is chipping off already. I asked Sherwin Williams what to do about this, and they said that I needed to use a special primer to help the paint stick. Obviously no primer was used. I had new exterior lights installed last week and the electrician discovered that the wood surrounding one of the lights was rotted; when he pointed it out to me, it was very evident it was rotted, and I am amazed that the painters actually painted it without replacing it. Finally, and I realize this is a small thing but it just puts the icing on the cake, I just went out to take the street numbers off the front door trim so I could spray paint them, and I discovered that when they put the numbers back on, they stripped the screws so badly that I can't get them off! We are doing a lot of home improvement projects this year and I have had experiences with many different contractors this summer. Everything except for the painting has been top-notch and the contractors will get excellent ratings from me on Angie's List, so it's not that I'm so picky that nothing pleases me. I would have gladly paid more just to have the paint job done well. I am having the entire interior of my home painted this fall and have already chosen a different contractor because of the lack of attention to detail paid to the exterior of the house by this company.

They were a little slow to get started, but in the end the work was done well.

Mark Tabor's crew came and power washed the house first in mid Sept. 2012. Because they use Sherwin Williams paint (interior and exterior) I had the free benefit of having SW's color coordinator come out and help with the color decisions both inside and out. When I changed my mind or needed entra work done after other contractors, Mark was always accomodating. His responses were always timely, as were his estimates and invoices. His painters were always on time, vigilant and meticulous and cleaned up every day when they were finished. I will definitely use them again when we are preparing our current house for sale.
