He stalled for 6 months before he got here. I was fine with it because it was outdoor working season. He claimed he never got the statement and he raised the price when he did finally come out. We finally agreed to the original rate but it took a lot of work to get him to agree. The workers were good but I would not recommend this company based on the owner.

We first contacted Fresh Touch in late May while collecting estimates. We confirmed a week or so later, but due to our summer schedule, we specified that the work could not begin any sooner than September 16th. Work actually began in the 2nd week of October with a pressure wash. Mark stayed in touch regarding the schedule, which was delayed because of a rainy summer and thus the jobs ahead of us being delayed. Towards the end he overpromised a little bit, indicating that work would begin on Wednesday or Thursday when I was asked when he would need my paint samples. Work actually began the following Tuesday afternoon. Once work began the crew was very professional and accommodating to small requests, and for some touchups needed because I cranked open several windows. The job was finished on that Friday, with great attention to detail, a thorough cleanup, and no damage to plantings. The quote included a 15% Angie's list discount.

The crew was excellent paying very close attention to detail. Our deck had some loose boards that needed replaced and/or fixed and they did a wonderful job doing so. They hand painted the deck with a couple coats that seem very solid. Overall, very nice, professional crew that worked very hard at making a superb product! Thank you!

I have 3 words to say about FTC Painting - AWESOME, AWESOME, and AWESOME. When Mark came out to give an estimate on staining our 33 year old cedar home, I was a little skeptical on his promises during the sales presentation, but in the end, he not only over promised, he also OVER DELIVERED. His was not the cheapest bid, but was the best value for quality of any of our prior house painting jobs. When the house was powered washed, Greg also cleaned our composite deck surface for no additional charge. Sebastian, the crew leader, did not have 'no' in his vocabulary nor did he ever say 'it is not in the contract'. This became apparent when I pointed out minor misses or fixes during the project which Sebastian cheerfully and efficiently corrected. We had areas of soft and split siding which were filled in and repaired with expoxy and wood filler, making the siding look as good as new and eliminated any future water damage. During the walk through at the end of the project, he also applied a third coat of stain on the deck railing for longevity since the stain from the last paint contractor had totally pealed off (contract called for 2 coats). I now know what a quality, premier paint contractor should be and my house looks fantastic after the face lift. As long as I live in Columbus and Mark is proprietor of FTC painting, I will never look for another paint contractor again. Kudos to Mark and his team for their ethics, craftsmanship and integrity.

The service was good and I plan to use them for additional work in the future.

My house is white vinyl siding, approximately 15 years old. Fresh Touch power washed the house. The power washing took years of dirt off the siding and it's bright and white again. They did a wonderful job and I would definitely use them again.

I purchased this deal for my mom for a gift. They we on time, very courteous, and did excellent work. Probably the best paint job I've ever seen! They cleaned up and left no messes! I will definitely be using this company again in the future!

They did a very good job. I was not there when the performed the work since it was an outside job. When I came home the work was completed and it looked great.

Wow! I am very impressed with the level of service provided by Fresh Touch Painting. Our project took longer to complete than planned, and they worked with my schedule. The guys showed up on time the very first day of the job and did an excellent job. They spent more time on wall repair and prep than most painters I have worked with in the past, so we ended up with an excellent job. Once they left, I found a couple of very minor issues which they promptly came back and corrected them without a problem. We had about 2/3 of our house repainted in this job. Our family room and foyer are both 2-story, so this was not a small job but they did a wonderful job. We couldn't be happier with the results and would highly recommend them to friends and family.

It went wonderfully. The crew was here and they knew what they were doing. The foreman was a good supervisor and all the workers were helpful. I was very pleased.

Job went very well, in every aspect. I'm totally pleased. Expert repairs were made to drywall damage, numerous holes and fixtures for hanging shelves, etc. Paint job looks terrific. Mark made the original visit to prepare the estimate and all communications with him were timely and clear. Brian did the work and was very responsive and courteous. He worked quickly and neatly. This is an office environment and he also did his very best to make sure the paint smells were not problematic for the folks in adjacent offices. It was a great experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Fresh Touch Custom Painting to friends and family.

We have a large, two story home, and needed the above services completed. Mark helped us figure out the details, and Robert and crew were exceptional. Once they arrived the work was completed in a timely manner, clean up was a daily occurrence, and the product more than met our expectations. We are very satisfied, and would call Fresh Touch the next time we need to paint.

The house looks like it has had a new paint job!

I was very pleased with the quality of work and the overall experience. Because the company is very busy, we had to wait about two months for our painting to be done. In the meantime, Mark kept me informed of the timing via email and was very responsive to my questions. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, did good quality work, and cleaned up after themselves. I will hire them for future painting work.

He arrived when he said he would, and did a great job. I used a special that they offered, and felt I got a great deal. I will use them year after year....

Fresh Touch was excellent. Mark Tabor came out very quickly when called and gave me a quote within a couple of days. The quote was less than any competitors. It took a while after we signed the contract for the work to get started, but Mark kept communicating with us along the way and explained where we were on the waitlist. Once the work was started, everything was done without interruption. His painters were courteous and thorough and the work was done in an extremely high quality manner.

They did an outstanding job, and I was surprised at how quickly they finished. Prior to their arrival, Mark kept me posted on the timing. It was done exactly when I wanted it to be, so no delay despite the rain. The crew leader communicated with me on the status and asked if I had any questions or concerns. The painters paid very close attention to detail and wrapped my plants with care. I especially appreciated the fact that there were no sub-contractors; all the painters were the owner's employees. During the proposal process, I was most impressed with Mark compared to the others due to his knowledge, attention to detail, patience and professionalism. He walked me around the entire house and explained everything, whereas the others did not. So I expected his quote to be higher. In fact it was the lowest. So I received flawless work for a very reasonable price and no hassle. I'm thrilled with the result, and my neighbors are impressed.

We set a date for the power washing with the Angie's List Big Deal. Unfortunately, I then noticed that a robin had made a nest at the top of our retractable awning on the house, and that there were baby robins in it. Power washing would not bode well for them. I emailed the owner, Mark Tabor, and he was kind enough to reschedule the power washing even though it was for after the Big Deal expiration date. We rescheduled, but had to re-reschedule at least once due to the weather. His company came out in early July to do the power washing, and did a great job. Thank you so much for being willing to wait until the robins had left the nest to power wash our house! And for continuing to follow-up to reschedule.

He showed up on time, did a great job. The house is 12 years old, and had never been washed. My wife said it looks like it did when it eas new!

We got several estimates and Fresh Touch was by far the best. Mark, the owner, was friendly and answered all of our questions timely. Mother Nature put them behind schedule this summer and Mark thanked us for our patience. The color consultant, Anya, was a great help with helping us pick the right colors for the house and the trim. The crew, Robert, Christian and Brandon, showed up on time each day and were very nice and friendly. Robert answered all my questions no matter how odd. They went above and beyond to make sure the house & trim were was painted well including an extra coat on the wood trim were it was needed for full coverage and were careful around our new windows. The job took a day longer than expected in part due to Mother Nature again. Once they were all done Robert did a walk around with us to make sure we were happy and there were no issues. There were a couple of small issues - a small missed spot by the patio and misplaced screws for the screen door - that they came back the next day to remedy. We are VERY happy with the job they did. The house looks great.

Mark runs the company and gives estimates, but hasn't been on the job for either time Ive had this company paint for me. The company was busy this summer and I had to wait more than 6 weeks for my (relatively small) job to be done. Mark let me know up front that it would probably take that long though. For this job, I am grateful for their patience with me as I was a bit disorganized about the color. I had chosen a color when first calling Mark, but couldn't find it the day they were coming to paint and had a panicked quick choice to remake (not how I like to pick colors). When the work started, they didn't ask about or offer to take off antique brass switch plate covers or the door chime box/cover. Rather painted round them. Thought that was odd and after the first coat I took these off myself and cleaned the paint off the plate covers. They did ask about picture hooks (whether they should leave each one or paint over), which I appreciated. I asked them to help take down one large fabric wall hanging from over the stairs, which they did, but several of the hooks fell off and were not put back up (found most but not all of them in various places). They did see some old paint splatters on the wood trim and pointed these out to me before starting so I was aware that they did not cause them. It was a 2-day job and after the first day there were some smudges of caulk on our front door. There was also some paint between the boards of newly refinished floors. I pointed those out the next morning and they were cleaned up. After the entire job was finished they did a fabulous clean up though so maybe those things would have been taken care of anyhow. My favorite thing about this company is the quality of the painting. The lines are clean and fresh. They take the time to caulk around door frames, etc. There are not sloppy splatter marks. They also asked for my final approval before wrapping up the job.

Mark Tabor (owner) was great to work with. He was able to accommodate us in his schedule even though we had delayed in sending the signed contract. The paint work quality is outstanding and I have received many compliments from the neighbors. I don't remember the name of the gentleman who did the actual painting, but he was very professional, patient and detail oriented. Payment was done at the completion of the work and a walk through with Mark himself. Overall very pleased and would recommend to all my friends.

Quick visit for estimate. Job delayed by weather but kept us informed all the way. Middle price of 3 quotes that ranged from $3000 to $8000. However, I can't imagine that anyone could have done a better or more detailed and careful job. Everything was pressure washed, old paint scraped and sanded as needed, everything caulked and repaired, downspouts removed and painted, gutters painted. Then 2 coats of stain were applied to our cedar exterior and windows painted in a 3 color format. We used their Sherwin Williams color consultant to help choose colors. The large deck was washed and stained with 2 coats, including extensive latticework and about 20 window boxes that required removing, cleaning, and individual staining. All furniture was removed and replaced by them. They even threw in painting of the second story and ceiling of a screened in porch for no extra charge. It took 2 weeks for the house and one week for the deck (with some rain delay), but it was worth it. The attention to detail was amazing, and cleanup was perfect. This is that rare service company that makes you realize what can be accomplished in the industry by owners and workers commited to excellence in their job and reasonableness in their price.

Completed as promised. Returned initial call in 48 hours. Scheduled time and completed on time.

We were very pleased. The summer rains put our project a little behind but they were in constant contact with us. They came in and power washed the entire house, painted and sealed the entire exterior. It looks wonderful!! They were extremely neat!!! Very pleased and competitive in price. I will use them again if I need painting done inside.
