I love these folks! I would never have anyone else paint for me. Zach and crew are prompt and professional and do an outstanding job. Job took about two days and the team was very efficient. I was selling my home and needed it to look its best. They did a great job matching paint for touch ups and cleaned up after themselves when it was all done. I never had any trouble getting a response from Zach and when it was all done he came out for a walk through to make sure I was happy with the workmanship.

The estimate was a little more than one from a competitor but Fresh Touch offered to fill in gaps in wood and do minor repairs, which the other company didn't offer , so we accepted Fresh Touch's estimate. Since the summer was pretty wet it took a while before our work could be done, but we were notified that a person would pressure wash the house and a few days later would do the prep and painting a few days later. When the crew arrived promptly at 8:00 that day they they prepped, repaired and painted two coats of high quality paint and were done by 5:00 PM.

I had a tough time deciding on the rating. Overall I believe Fresh Touch is an ethical company and anyone hiring them will end up with a good paint job. My exterior looks great, I like the color Fresh Touch used and I’ve had compliments from several neighbors. A lot went right but overall the process was frustrating, lengthy and dissimilar in many ways to the glowing comments by other customers. I think a cold Spring and hot Summer likely contributed some of the problems along the way. In April I called Angie’s List providers and Fresh Touch returned my call same day, and Zack came out next day at time scheduled. Fresh Touch quote was about equal with one other and two were higher. So definitely an “A” on price and quote process. I signed/emailed the contract on April 19 and was told they’d do the job in June. Fresh Touch power washed June 13 in pouring rain so I give the power-washer an “A” for dedication. They painted June 15, 16, 22, 27, and July 26. (a) The date spread was irritating. At the estimate, Zach told me they would be in-and-out of the house working on both interior and exterior simultaneously because the ceilings needed to be taped/spackled/primed and would require multiple steps with hours in between and therefore they would do the preparation and painting outside while the interior prep was drying. So of course, I’d removed paintings, emptied nick-knacks, towels, rugs and removed some smaller furniture from the living room, dining room, hall, bathroom and bedroom the night before painting was scheduled on June 15th. Well they did interior and exterior separately with different crews, and didn’t actually come inside until June 22 (I didn’t know when they left on the 16th that they were not coming back for a week) so the rooms were disassembled for a week and then I put everything back and had to remove things again from the living room on June 27 and July 26, and from the bath on July 26. (b) From the reviews many people seem to have had color consultations and discussed sheen. I never had anything like that. I never saw any color until it was going on my house (and wet colors are different so really after my house was completed). On June 14, Mark Tabor emailed that they wanted to start the following morning. I said I’d be out from 9:10-11:30 but it was fine as long as I could see the color before it went up either before 9:10 or when I got back at 11:30 and that I could let them inside those same times to begin the ceilings. Mark’s reply said that Brian would reach out to schedule the ceilings while they were onsite and show me a color match. Zack called me at 7:40 on the first morning to say that he recommended color 10% darker than current paint color. Brian never called, never came, and no one ever showed me a color match. I cancelled my afternoon plans and stayed home 8 hours the first day waiting for Brian to do what Mark had said (7:45-9:15 and 11:30-6:00), and when I spoke to Brian on the phone mid-afternoon, he said someone named Lucas was supervisor at my job site and would answer my questions. When I said Lucas was not here and had not been here any of many hours I’d been waiting, Brian said Lucas would be back soon – which he never was up until 6:00 pm when I left. (c) This was my first contractor experience with language barriers and no one on the job site with the workers who has authority to make decisions. Per above the initial work day it would have been very helpful to have some information on scheduling, process, colors, when they wanted interior access, etc. Eric was at my house most of the first day doing outside preparation work (arrived before 8:00 a.m. and was sitting in the yard at 6:00 p.m. when I left apparently waiting for a ride since no vehicles were present all day) but Eric did not speak or understand English and couldn’t respond to any of my questions or even understand my offer of a beverage or restroom. Eric was a very hard worker and methodical in preparation and spent the day alone outside on a hot day taping plastic and paper over the non-paint areas. Fresh Touch definitely does a good deal of preparation to carefully protect windows and soffits before they spray the paint on the siding. The second day went better. Lucas, who spoke English, did come with Eric the second day. They quickly sprayed paint on the house and it looks really good (I am happy with the color even if I’d not been happy about failure to see a sample). The only issue was a back step was not stained and was the only thing on the outside remaining the old color. I talked to Lucas about it while the equipment still had the deck stain in it but he said it was not on the work order and I’d have to talk to Zack the following week because he didn’t have authority to add on to a work order. Zack stopped by on June 18 and said he would get me a new work order with the step listed on it within a week. I never received the updated proposal but the step was stained a month later on July 26 after I sent a couple emails asking them to come back and do it. (d) The inside was not done with the same care as the outside. A larger, different crew came on June 22 to do the ceilings. It rained all day and was very humid with open windows making the interior humid and not conducive to paint drying. Despite both the conversation at the estimate in April and a similar conversation with Zack on June 18 about the fact my ceiling repairs would be multi-step and require drying time, they rushed through the repairs, primer and paint with little or no drying time between steps putting wet over wet. They did not cover everything with plastic and moved the plastic around the floor to cover only the section being painted at the moment, leaving fine spatters of white paint mist on nightstands, the wood coffee table and several blotches of white paint several inches long on the fireplace hearth (I had a little of the beige hearth paint in my cupboard and I repainted it that evening when I saw what had happened). The living room water stain continued to show through and the bathroom crack re-opened within a couple weeks. Ruben came back on June 27th to prime the living room ceiling and had to do a little more work on it on July 26 to get it completely covered. When Ruben came on July 26th he also taped the bathroom crack (a thing which I’d specifically heard Zack instruct the crew to do on June 22 and they failed to do the first time). Clean up after the bath ceiling painting was poor. The ceilings are fine now. (e) I asked Zack verbally and in writing for updated estimates and final invoice several times, without success. I never had any follow-up to see if I was happy or if everything was done, nobody in charge ever came to look at the work, and I never received an amended invoice - eventually I got tired of having the check I'd made out to Fresh Touch back in June sitting on my kitchen counter for over two months and filled in my best-guess amount and mailed it to them, not knowing if the payment I sent was correct (they cashed it and never heard anything else so apparently it was adequate payment). Overall, I’d rate Fresh Touch “excellent” on the exterior quality and eventually “adequate” on the interior, with difficulty getting follow-up information during the process.

Fresh Touch did a great job painting the exterior of my house. They bid a very reasonable price, were in constant communication about any problems, and their staff did a great job. The painters worked very hard and had two very long days. They cleaned up after themselves and made no messes. The work was of high quality and they worked with me about a few special projects that I wanted done. They did such a great job on my house that my next door neighbor used them a few weeks later and they too were very happy about the job and the cost. A good choice for home painting.

Nothing went well from the onset. Pressure washer was supposed to do the whole house only did areas to be painted. House looked like a disaster after pressure washing, dirt, water/cleaner spots and paint chips everywhere. Four days later the painters came. It was an extremely rushed job. Surface prep was poor, clean-up was poor, and we believe we did not receive the contracted two coats of paint on parts of the house. Caulking, scraping, sanding, and two coats of paint on a 2300 sq. ft. two story 3/4 cedar-front home was competed in less than 4 hours. Negative attitudes the next day when they came back to make improvements and still did poor work. We will never hire this company again.

Everything went very well. The workers arrived on time and followed directions well. It was evident that the workers wanted to provide a quality result. They completed the job and our sales/supervisor made certain we were satisfied before they expected payment. We were satisfied with all aspects of the job.

Workers were professional, and they did a great job. Would hire again. We recommend them.

Freshpaint did a wonderful job painting the trim of our house. The price was very fair and competitive. The whole process was very easy from start to finish. They power washed our siding prior to the painting. They also provided a Sherwin Williams color consultant to help us choose our color. The paint job they did was one of the most professional jobs we have ever had done. The painters were very courteous and meticulous. In addition the painters were extremely quiet and they cleaned up to the point you would never know they had been there. I would recommend this company without any reservation at all.

They were efficient and completed my whole repair and paint job in just a few days. Communication was very good and I was happy with the result. A dryer vent was cracked during the job and they replaced it and fixed a few other spots I noted. Would use them again.

We had great experience with Fresh Touch Custom Painting Inc. Brian and Mark are both helpful and responsive. The crew members were just great, did a good work and were pleasant to interact with. Both crew members and the managers were very helpful and attentive to all requests made by us. They were also very flexible. I would definitely hire this team again.

Painted our entire interior and did a great job!

We were doing some upstairs renovations and FTC was very flexible in scheduling their work around our main contractor (which is saying a lot since the schedule changed several times!). They did a great job, were extremely responsive, and easy to deal with. Thank you!

These guys are the best, I could not be happier, and would recommend them to anyone. Everyone in the company, from the owner, to the estimator, to the supervisor, to the crew lead, to the painters were friendly, polite and professional – completely customer-focused. But what impressed me the most was how meticulous the painters were. They scraped off the old paint with the care of a dental assistant cleaning my teeth, and applied new paint with the touch of Michelangelo! They didn’t leave a single loose bit of paint on the entire house and garage, and sanded everything down perfectly smooth. I know the primer and two coats of paint they put on will last as long as possible because of the care they put into prepping and applying it. And they also did a lot of wood repair at very reasonable prices. My house is over 150 years old, and hadn’t been painted in 15 years, so I had several spots of rot in the window sills and siding, and the windows needed a lot of glazing. They did an excellent job on repairing with polyester resin where possible, and replacing the wood if it was too far gone. And the glazing looks great! I got quotes from the two highest rated companies on Angie’s List (these guys are one of them) but I decided to go with Fresh Touch because a) the other company’s estimate was 57% higher than Fresh Touch, and I didn’t see how they could do a 57% better job, and most importantly b) because the other company was not able to do the glazing or wood repair - I would have had to hire someone else before they could come out. But Fresh Touch does it all, with care and professionalism! Final note – I was very particular about what needed to be painted, all the way down to each window, but they were very patient, and adjusted the estimate three times while I made up my mind. Overall an excellent experience

Mark and his team did an excellent job. They pressure washed and applied 2 coats of stain to my deck, matching the previous color. I needed to have the work completed in a timely manner as I was selling my condo and Mark was very accommodating. They even sent a guy out to do additional painting of some trim at no extra charge. The price was quite reasonable compared to other quotes I received. I would definitely recommend them.

I called Mark Tabor at Fresh Touch Custom Painting on 11/21/2016 about painting our exterior house (all stucco, the garage doors, part of the wood trim, two metal window roof caps), painting the shed siding, and repairing (wood replacement) and staining the deck. Given weather considerations, he prepared a bid (which we accepted), and he put us on the FTC painting schedule for early Spring of 2017. We heard back from FTC painting on 4/13/2017. The entire job got done from 4/17/2017 through 4/19/2017. Brian McCue supervised the crew, who did a solid, efficient, complete job, that included appropriate pre-painting preparation, and 2 coats of SW high-quality paint or stain all the various parts of the job. Mark Tabor, Brian McCue, and the crew were very efficient, personable, and professional. They and this company were very honest and have excellent customer service. (Note that we also got the Angie’s List member discount here.) We would definitely use Fresh Touch Custom Painting again.

Scheduling for quotes was quick and easy. Payment was scheduled after the work done to my satisfaction. Good quality work, just a few smudges here and there, but overall pretty good. They were able to schedule my work in a timely manner, which wasn't the case for a few other places I called. I'll use them if I need another large painting job done.

They did a good job and corrected a few minor errors without any hassle. We thought the price was somewhat high but otherwise am well satisfied with the work they did.

Very well, came out quickly for an estimate and they were able to fit this work into a tight schedule ( both ours and theirs). Paint jobs looks very good, towards the end of painting another coat of paint was recommended- we agreed to the additional coat of paint. The additional coat caused the total job to cost more than estimated but we feel that it was well worth it.

Everything was great. Dealing with Bryan, Zach, and Mark was extremely easy. I would highly recommend them. The price was below what I anticipated and they were able to get us in a week later. My wife and I are looking forward to buying our next house and having them out to paint the new one.

The powerwashing beautifully cleaned the house and deck. The deck was difficult to stain because our trees were dropping seeds and petals on the deck all day long. The crew was extremely hard working and diligent about repeatedly blowing the debri off the deck, in order to provide us with an excellent smooth finish with the stain. The crew was on time and polite. The salesmen, Zach, was able to match our stain, even though it had been discontinued. We were very pleased with the results.

The work is beautiful and the responsiveness of the management team was great. Clean up was lacking but management was obliging and we would hire again.

I was very impressed with Fresh Touch Custom Painting. FTCP went above and beyond what I expected and was a breath of fresh air to work with. More companies need to model themselves after them. They were easy to work with and did what they said they would. They started by power washing my house to get it ready to paint. The fellow did a super job and even cleaned t he block around my house as well as some brick areas that were pretty dirty. The painters masked everything that needed painted. This seemed like a lot of tedious work to me but it really paid off in the end as the house looked great. There were no drips and absolutely every area, hard to get to or not, got a fresh coat of paint, were impressive. The best thing was my entrance way. When they were done with the door and entrance windows it looked like a new house. I am very pleased with their work and would hire them again in a minute. Good job Fresh Touch.

I have recently used Fresh Touch Painting(FTP) Service to paint my Kitchen Cabinets doors and bathroom vanity doors. Initially I was very doubtful on how the paint will look, but FTP team painted it so beautifully that its looks amazing and more open now. Each person in the team is very hardworking, knowledgeable and friendly. The didn't charged me a singly penny until the whole job is done and I was happy. The were also very flexible on every part of the job. I would highly recommend them and use them in future for other painting jobs.
