Foundation Landscape Services

Chris has poor communication skills for customers. I have emailed, text, and called several times with no response. I feel if you can't do the job, just be honest about it. I have all documents to produce to show that he doesn't respond to calls and etc. i have over 15 messages out to him with no response. Bottom line don't use his services.

They are very professional. They get the work done on schedule once the job began. They were very busy when we had the landscaping done in 2010. They had jobs already scheduled but with weather conditions there were delays when they were initially starting but when they started the job it was completed in two weeks, on schedule and to our satisfaction. They are very thorough. It is a small company of three people having excellent staff The owner did a very beautiful and professional drawing. Of the three companies that I contacted he was the only one that came through with a totally professional bid and landscape design. The crew was excellent. They are very impressive. I will use them again.

They did a very good job. Chris and the crew were neat and did a fabulous job. Very pleased and have had numerous compliments.

It was excellent. I have been very pleased with the work. I did a price comparison with several companies and tried to get the best price.

My neighbors across the street and next door hired them to do their Spring clean up after seeing what they did for me. They are practical. They stick within a budget. They have a good sense of style that is better than what I would have came up with on my own. They propose a plan and let you adjust it without making you feel dumb. They work with the existing landscape, existing house, the style and color of the house, and the best features of the house to make sure that they are reflected and echoed in the architecture that they design with the hardscape. I found them at a home show. Chris was really nice. He seemed genuinely excited about doing our project. We talked to a lot of people that day at the home show. Many of them were very professional and businesslike, but Chris had a gleam in his eye when we told him what we wanted to do. He seemed just as excited about it as we were. We had him come out and draw up a plan, and then we hired him.

They stayed within my budget and they did an outstanding design. They took a phased approach, so we could afford the whole project. They workers who came out were polite, respectful, and they also cleaned up every day. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. The quality of their work was very good and I was satisfied with their service.

We went with this company because we were impressed with the design Chris came up with, which was very detailed. The installation went smoothly, and we were initially happy with the patio. Some of the arborvitaes Foundation installed died at the end of 2008. Foundation did replace them, but used a different variety of arborvitaes then the ones that died, which looks kind of funny because now we have two different varieties of arbovitaes in a hedge row. Also, after a few months, one of the columns they installed began to lean, which created a gap between the column and seat wall. I spoke to Chris on 3-23-2009 about the problem, and he informed me that Foundation would fix it but didn't provide a specific timeframe. They claim to guarantee their work for 1 year and I reported the problem before the year was up. Foundation still hasn't fixed the leaning column. A couple of weeks after reporting the problem, I left messages on Chris's cell and office phone asking when the repairs would be done, and I still haven't heard back from him. I also sent Chris an email asking about the status, which wasn't returned. Foundation appears to be ignoring me, which is a shame really, because we would have considered going with this company again in the future. At a minimum, their responsiveness is extremely poor.

Chris and his crew did a great job. They completed the entire project in 9 days, were very professional and polite throughout, and cleaned up nicely at the end of each day. The quality of the work is excellent, and I am very picky.
