They are the only people who would do that job. They seemed knowledgeable in what they were doing. They were polite and on time. It did take a long time because we had to get approval.

He was very helpful and creative, but we were not able to find a carpenter to do the necessary prep. work in time.

They were late because they went to the wrong street. Otherwise, they were very nice and did an excellent job. We found an old decorative gate from them for $50, and then they installed it. The man really went above and beyond for me. I was very pleased with their service. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others.

They did a great job. Their price was good, they were punctual and I was completely satisfied and I would call them again and recommend them as well.

I paid half of the money down as a deposit. They came out and knocked the entire porch off my house! Had a hack carpenter come out to try and rebuild it. Improperly installed the vinyl siding around the porch and left rain water running into my house! And the B***** owner of Fortin Iron turned me into a collection company! I have asked her to come and see the job and see if she would pay for the crappy workmanship-and she won't even come and see it! AND THE B**** TURNED ME IN TO A COLLECTION COMPANY!!!

They were the only company I looked into that was able to do the wrought iron railing. When I called them, they sent someone out right away to talk to me about what kind of railings would be appropriate. They custom make the railings to fit the need. I was very impressed with their level of service and I was very pleased with them.

They did very well. They stuck to the time limit. The price was a little steep but I had no one to compare it to since they are the only ones that could the work.

Easy process. Half-down, and the installed piece looks great. Only "complaint" is that it took about 4-weeks to install. I know it's custom-made, but it was a pretty simple piece. But, we weren't in a hurry.

The salesman was a wonderful person! But when I went to their showroom to pay my deposit the people there are very stoic and they aren't friendly. (Before anyone buys they should go in and experience the coldness. That should have been my first indication if I ever had problems they wouldn't be kind. But who thinks they will have problems.) They order the materials and we scheduled a date. The installation crew was late. The cut the post and down came my entire porch. They tried to rebuild it using used materials left from the destruction. They took gutters from one of the owners houses and tried to hang them on mine. They didn't even match the others because they were a different size. They pulled the vinyl siding over and I now have open seems for rain to run into. They didn't flash the roof and rain runs in. They left two huge gashes in the vinyl siding where rain also runs in there. They have tried sending me to collections for the balance-I won't pay until they fix their mess!

Job was done exactly as requested. Josh came out and measured the job, and afterward I changed my mind as to one component and Josh came back and re-measured to be sure the change didn't impact the design. Quoted 6 to 8 weeks for fabrication and install and completed both in 5 weeks. Called once ready and installed on a Saturday morning.

We are exceedingly pleased with the work. The installed item has a fine appearance and is very functional to use.

We've used Fortin in the past to install a fence and gate in our driveway, so we knew the right choice was Fortin again when we needed railings and another gate installed. The product and excellent service they provide cannot be beat. We contacted them and within a few days they were out to measure and got the order placed. It was installed within a week. One final praise, they clean up great after themselves, we were actually gone when they were installed and it was like they were not even there.

I was having a custom patio put in, and the contractor did not handle railings. He would install one that I bought. I had seen Fortin's before and decided to call. I explained my situation and lack of knowledge on how to go about purchasing a railing for steps that had not even been built yet. I was worried about codes and wanted to have the railing before the contractor was done with his work and on to another project. The person taking my call was so helpful! She even suggested I stop in to look at their scrap railing to save me money. We ended up finding that there was no code requirements for our rail and decided to go without but will definitely use Fortin's in the future!

They did not respond to our requests.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE RAILINGS. THE INSTALLERS DID A GREAT JOB OF INSTALLATION AND CLEANED UP BEHIND THEMSELVES THOROUGHLY.

They provided the best price on these units and did a good job at installation. I asked to see if someone from the company could come out and make sure the place we would like to install would work out even before we committed to the job, which was appreciated. The actual install date had changed a few times, since it was somewhat based on the weather and some other jobs they were already committed to, which is the bulk of their business. For example, if they were to do another outdoor job on a Thursday and it rained, they would have to postpone that one until Friday or the next non-rainy day, which pushed off my installation, etc. But, overall, a good job done at a good price.

They did not pursue this opportunity.

The work was performed within 24 hours of my signing the agreement. They were quick and neat.

The representative came out to give us an estimate, he was on time and very cordial. The price was very reasonable. We went ahead and scheduled the work. He said it would be 3-4 weeks before he could do it. The work was done in 3 weeks. We're very pleased.

Outstanding service from our first contact with them. They took down the pole and hauled it away. Very satisfied with their work.

Piece completed as requested. There was a misunderstanding in that my diagram of the piece indicated a solid pole, but a hollow pole was made instead. Turns out that was adequate for the project.

''MIKE'' IS GREAT TO WORK WITH AS WELL AS JUST A NICE MAN. HE KNEW I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO COVER THE VULNERABLE WINDOW OF AN EXTERIOR DOOR AND FOUND THE PERFECT DECORATIVE SCROLL-TYPE WROUGHT IRON WHICH DOESN'T LOOK LIKE JAIL BARS. IT'S BEAUTIFUL YET FUNCTIONAL. I HAVE ALSO HEARD THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD THAT HE HAS DESIGNED SIMILAR FUNCTIONAL YET BEAUTIFUL WROUGHT IRON PROTECTIVE DOORS FOR NEIGHBORS. WHILE FIXING THE WROUGHT IRON GATE, THEY ALSO ADJUSTED THE TENSION SO THAT IT LATCHES EASIER. NO CHARGE FOR THAT. GREAT SERVICE.

IT WENT REALLY WELL. THE RAILS ARE CUSTOM MADE, AND THE PRICE WAS GOOD FOR THE RAILS AND INSTALLATION. THEY HAD A SUBCONTRACTOR (SCOTT SKIDMORE) WHO CAME OUT AND DID THE INSTALL. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND NEAT, AND LEFT A CAN OF TOUCH UP PAINT BEHIND. THE RAILS ARE VERY STURDY. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT.

DID A GREAT JOB. THE ESTIMATOR AND INSTALLERS WERE ON TIME AND EFFICIENT. HAD TO CALL THE GUYS BACK TO FINISH CLEAN UP, BUT THEY ARE ALWAYS RESPONSIVE AND TOOK CARE OF THINGS IMMEDIATELY. THE FENCE LOOKS GREAT.

INSTALLATION OF RAILING APPEARS FINE, BUT THE PRODUCT ITSELF WAS INFERIOR. THE NEW RAILING WAS POORLY PAINTED WITH MANY CHIPS AND BARE SPOTS. I WAS NOT HOME WHEN THE RAILING WAS INSTALLED. I HAD ASKED THE COMPANY TO CALL IN ADVANCE OF INSTALLATION, BUT THEY DIDN'T. I CALLED WHEN I NOTICED THE NEW RAILING AND A BAD PAINT JOB AND HAD SOMEONE COME OUT TO RE-PAINT IT. I WAS TOLD THE COMPANY HAD USED A SUB-CONTRACTOR TO INSTALL THE RAILING.
