When I called I asked specifically if they would take care of the drain and I was assured that would. I got a quote on phone and called back the next day to arrange service on a day I could be at home. When I asked if they could call ahead to let me know what time they would arrive, they insisted that I didn't have to be home. I explained that I needed to talk to the person that would do the job to explain the issue with the drain (if you test it with the hose, it may appear as if it's draining fine, but come a big thunderstorm and they overflow). So on the day before they came they called me to let me know someone would be at my house between 8:00 am and 11:00 am. The next day, by 11:30 no one had showed up or called. I called the company to inquire about what was going on. They sounded surprised that no one had showed up, but they proceeded to ask me if we could re-schedule for another day! Since I had taken time off, I insisted they came that day. The person said they would try to see what they could do and would call me back. Within 30 minutes they got back to me and said someone would come within the hour, and they did. A father and his son did a decent job a cleaning the gutters with a leaf blowers and checking the down spouts with the hose. But when I wanted to talk about the drain having flowing issues I was told that they don't do that! I wasn't happy, now I have to call another company to do this job, someone who quoted a lower price for the gutter cleaning. Imagine my surprise when, the next day someone calls me on my cell phone to tell me they're coming to clean the gutters. I said, thank you, but someone came already. The answer: "Oh Ok, sorry about yesterday, I was running behind and couldn't make it on time..."

Cleaned out gutters, discovered that a portion was coming off the house, causing a leak and fixed. Gutters run smooth and no more leaks! These guys were in and out the day after I made the call. One bad thing is they left the hose running after they left....

Excellent service. The first team out helped me clear something on the top of my chimney, free of charge and cleaned out the gutters and downspouts. The owner sent out a second team to check their work and they did some extra work on the drains, without being asked.

I liked that they were prompt. The owner came out and checked the work when the crew was done. He was very honest and wanted to make sure I was happy.

The job was done, but there was a little while in getting the job done. A couple weeks went by and I got an invoice for the job. The owner thought it had been done and it hadn't been. He ended up coming out to do the job himself. Either they did the wrong house or his workers lied to him about it. There was some sort of confusion going on. At least when the job was done, he did do a good job. He had to borrow a bag from the guy that was mowing the lawn, as he didn't even bring a bag himself. He apparently was assuming that the job had been done.

Great experience! I was hoping to get someone out the same week and they were able too accommodate. They called in the morning to tell us they would be there c. 10:30. They arrived when they said, it took them about 1/2 hour and they also used the leaf blower to clean off the back deck and driveway! I will use them yearly.

Workers arrived around 8:15pm to clean gutters. Based on lack of uniforms or company vehicle, I'm guessing they were subs. 2 man crew worked very quickly. 10 minutes later, one of the guys knocks on the door and says they're done. I ask how the gutters looked. He said they were fine and flowing. Surprised that they were done so quickly, I asked if and how they flushed the downspouts. He informed me that the gutters had water in them, and when they removed the leaves it went down. Apparently that's what constitutes the service advertised as "flushing gutters". Whatever. I'm not going to argue with the guy. Seems to me we were probably the last house of the day, and they just wanted to get finished. My wife called and spoke with Stephen May to find out if this was proper "downspout flushing". He seemed to think it was. At least, he didn't seem inclined to come out and check his crew's work. Based on other Angie's List reviews, I expected better. My advice to other Angie's Listers: pick a company that doesn't use subs and is willing to spend more than ten minutes on a job. That's what I'll do next year.

I had used him before to repair my roof and clean the gutters. He also works on my rental property. Anytime I have gutter or roof problems, this is the guy I call.

I was very happy with them. They came out a few months later to double check their work. He was very nice and only charged extra $5.00 for having gutter covers.

Perhaps I was given an incorrect time frame and they weren't actually scheduling any work until after 11/27/07? When we had a snowfall I thought Flowing Gutters would not make the appointment. Our neighbor said he could see our gutters from his house and that ours looked good so I didn't worry about it. I came home from shopping on 12/08/07 to find several men there doing the work. As I pulled into the garage they waved at me - they seemed friendly! One of them showed me the bill for the work and I asked if they needed payment that day (at least one person on Angie's List said they do the work and send a bill but that may only happen when no one is home). He said yes, so I returned the bill to him, brought my bags inside and came back out with a check. My husband and I were very impressed with all the leaves that came out of the garage gutters.

Service was excellent. He even pointed out a potential roof issue me.

I left a message initially, and Flowing Gutters called back promptly and set up a day to come out and clean the gutters. I did not have to be home when the work was done and I did not have to pay until after the work was completed.

The company provided an estimate over the phone, and said would come do the work in a couple of weeks. They came out then, but didn't get the downspouts unplugged. After I called, they immediately came out and finished the job.

They showed up within a few days, and did a good job, without me being home.

I could tell Stephen and his crew had been over to complete my requested gutter cleaning when I went directly to my basement after returning home from work during a heavy rainstorm and found a dry basement! The employee who answered my initial phone call was very polite and professional, and Flowing Gutters completed the work in a reasonable amount of time after the initial call. I will continue to call on Flowing Gutters every time my gutters are in need of a good cleaning.

Steve May dispatches a few guys to clean my gutters twice a year. They are very thorough and run water through the gutters to make sure they got everything out. Good money spent. Don't even have to be there for it.

The whole process was very convenient. We made arrangements by phone, Flowing Gutters did the work, and I sent a check. We never actually met face to face, and I did not have to take time off from work to deal with the contractor.

They came much earlier in the week than I expected and worked very quickly. The gutters seem to be flowing fine!

They came out immediately the next day. It was fine.

They did a good job and they cleaned up afterwards. They were not too expensive either.

I was very happy with the man's work and efficiency.

I had them out last fall and had a bit of a problem at the start, but have had them out since and have had no problems with them would recommend them. The problems that we had were beyond their control. The price listed is a quote.

They do an excellent job. They come twice a year.

THE CREW WAS SUFFICIENT. WHEN THERE WAS A PROBLEM, THEY CAME BACK IMMEDIATELY AND CLEANED THE GUTTER. THEY WERE PROMPT WHEN I MADE A COMPLAINT. THE OWNER CAME OUT AND TOOK CARE OF IT.

Stephen May seems very concerned that his crew does an excellent job.
