FLOWERAMA

Description of Work: I "purchased" 4 dozen [48] long stem red roses at the Reynoldsburg Flowerama. The young lady went into THE BACK [I ASSUME] to get roses from another cooler. She returned, wrapped them correctly including the "feeding" packets. I paid for the roses with my debit card and drove directly home [taking about10 minutes!] Gave them to "My Sweetheart Wife of 44 years" to put in a vase. She got an approprite sized vase and lay the flowers on the kitchen counter to unwrap them. When she did and held the roses upright, a SHOWER OF LEAVES AND A NUMBR OF PETALS fell to the kitchen counter from the roses. As someone who has raised hydrid T roses for 40 years - it was OBVIOUS TO ME that these roses were DEHYDRATED and had been held in the coolaer LONG PAST any "freshness" date or time. After my wife's "face fell" at the cascading mass of leaves and petals, I - FURIOUSLY - gathered all the petals and leave - drove back to the Flowerama on MAIN STREET AND BRICE where I had purchased them not 15 minutes previously. I went to the counter and when asked if I could be helped - I said "NO - I AM RETURNING THE LEAVERS AND FLOWER PETALS THAT FELL FROM THE ROSES I JUST BOUGHT - AND - I WILL TELL MY ROSAIRIAN FRIENDS ABOUT THIS. I WILL RECOMMEND TO THEM TO AVOID FLOWERAMA IF THEY WISH FRESH, LIVE ROSES. I ALSO SAID THAT I WOULD NOT BE BUYING ANYTYHING FROM FLOWERAMA IN THE FUTURE, I then turned and started out, when the lady said," We guarentee our flowers" to which I said, " THERE IS YOUR "GUARENTEE" ALL OVER THAT COUNTER!!!!" AND LEFT THE PLACE DRIVING HOME TO APPOLLOGIZED TO MY WIFE. DONALD E. FULTON - PURCHASER!
