They did a very good job. They were fast and good communicators with us. I did have an engraved stone by a tree missing, and I asked them about it and he owned the problem and replaced this stone for me with no questions asked.

Because a family member had a very good experience with Flawless in 2009, we chose them to do our edging and mulching this year even though their estimate was about 10% higher than a company we used in the past. Obtaining an estimate and communicating with the company regarding when the job would be completed was fine. The company was responsive and relatively professional. We had the beds mulched with double processed hardwood and were told that they generally lay about 2-3" of mulch. We were not aware that the mulch would be blown in. When we looked at the beds the evening after the job was completed we found that the majority of the beds were covered with an inch or less of mulch. Some areas, particularly between larger bushes, had absolutely no mulch. There were also some other areas that had at least 6 inches or more of mulch. We found that the lower branches on many of our plants (even larger bushes - hydrangeas, dogwood, junipers) were buried under mulch and several smaller plants (newer lavender and ostrich fern) were completely buried. We spent some time that evening in the dark uncovering plants. I called and left a message at the Flawless office that evening and Jason called me back the next morning. He clearly wanted to make things right, came out to our house that afternoon and spent about an hour or so uncovering plants and correcting the work. However, that evening when we again looked at the beds, we saw no difference in the thickness of mulch and we spent about another hour uncovering even more plants/branches. In the end, we had about 12-15 plants that were damaged by the mulching, two lavender plants that were killed and a few other plants that are questionable as to whether or not they will survive. I contacted Jason that evening and he did bring us a few replacement plants the next morning as well as giving us a 20% discount on the work. He did offer to come back out to add mulch to the thin areas; however, we chose not to have him do this since we didn't really feel comfortable having the crew mulching our beds again and possibly doing more damage to the plants. The edging work was adequate. We happened to have window painters at our house while the mulching was done, and they complained that the crew was blowing mulch right around the wet paint without any regard for the painters' work. The crew also left behind a large wheelbarrow at our house. On the day of mulching, I gave them my credit card for payment - which they took. Two days later they told me that they only take credit cards through PayPal and needed a different form of payment. The wheelbarrow and credit card are not significant issues, but seem to reflect some lack of general quality control within the company. We will not hire Flawless again and would not recommend them, particularly for mulching.

We are happy with the work that was done on the yard. The team of landscapers that came to do the job was professional, punctual and got the job done!

They haven't done the work. The nice gentleman was here and gave us an estimate on paper and we are seeking a second one. He was prompt and he was very professional. We are getting a second estimate before we decide. When they came out they were courteous. I think it was the owner who came out. He and my husband walked around the back and he answered questions. He did the estimate for 2 different possibilities for hydroseeding or for sod. He gave us numbers for both possibilities. There was one phone call we made. He returned the call and he came the next day, so he was highly responsive. He gave us the time frame and he was here right on time. You can't ask for more. This gentleman was right on the money.

They have been wonderful! The properties always look good, they pick up the cuttings and clean up consistently well. I'd hire them for all my lawns, and have!

Have used the company's services for more than three mowing seasons. They are consistent, quick responders and have a fair price. Very professional.

Their price was similar to other companies. They were very professional. They got the estimate very quickly and I didn't have any problems with them.

The work was very good and nicely done.

We have extensive beds in our yard, and it was becoming more than we could manage. I contacted three companies for estimates. One company refused the job due to the size of the beds. Ann came out the day after I called to give us an estimate. We waited about a week for utility lines to be marked, and the work was done a few days after that. We left for work one morning, and when we came home that evening, everything was finished. The edges of the beds were very even and followed all the curves of the beds perfectly. The weeding was thorough, and everything looks terrific. We typically have spent ~$1200 just on the mulch, and it usually takes us several weekends to finish the job. The price was very reasonable considering the amount of work it saved us.
