All in all I've been pleased with the company and will continue to do business with them. We've had some repair work done and they installed a new air conditioner. They told me that in order for the warranty to be valid on my A/C I had to sign up for their annual service plan (around $160 I think?) to have the unit serviced and kept in working order. We had some significant challenges understanding this and then communicating to get the services done. However, they've probably been to my house 5 or 6 times and I've been pleased every time so I will continue to do business with them.

The technician, James, pretty much figured out the problem within minutes of looking at the furnace. He fixed it very quickly, explained the issue and reassured me that they would come back right away if, for some reason, it started having issues again. I haven’t had any issues since!

Great communication. Arrived on time even after I rescheduled the morning of the appointment. Crew was great. Hired for routine furnace maintenance and safety check. Found cause of nagging issue and fixed in the same day.

This company is great! I was making repairs on my home to sell it to a relocation company. The company was very difficult and I needed the repairs done very quickly. i called them on a Sunday night and they answered! Candy was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. They quickly sent a technician to my house and gave me a great price on the furnace. The work was done quickly. They even sent me pictures, per my request, because I had moved to a different state. Everything was fast and easy. Great customer service. I highly recommend them and would use them again in the future if I were still in Ohio.

Pickerington Heating and Cooling is the second company we have used for preventative maintenance. They work to our schedules in the Spring and Fall for tune-ups. The techs are always polite, and clean-up after themselves.

Everyone at is very professional. Show up on time and do work efficiently.

Purchased Angie's List 'deal' for fall furnace tune up. Price was great. Contractor was prompt, professional, completed the work in a short amount of time. This was the second time we'd used Pickerington H&C. We had used Northland Heating and Cooling for 20 years but after a dishonest service call that the company never addressed/resolved with us, we switched and have been happy with their work and the free advice and recommendations they have offered. Feel they are honest and reputable.

It went fine. My complaint goes to the comment the technician made about the humidifier in our unit. The technician made a comment about the humidifier not being needed. Unfortunately, 2.5 years earlier we paid to have it fixed because the technician from Pickerington and Heating said it was necessary to work. My comment isn’t so much about the service today which was good. It’s about how you can get two different answers from the same company, which makes it difficult to have faith in what they tell you.

The technician Carl, called when he was on his way & arrived in the time window quoted. Carl was knowledgeable & asked questions about our issue in order to diagnose the problem in a timely manner.

Michael took his time and did a complete job. We will definitely hire Pickerington Heating and Cooling again for both emergency and routine repairs.

Carl was on time, professional and had us up and running in less than 45 mins. The CSR, Grace was great when scheduling. No pushy sales pitch, just great customer service. Seemed like this company wanted our business. Unlike some companies that acted like they were doing us a favor to come out and service our A/C.

This is the 2nd time I've used Pickerington Heating and Cooling for HVAC maintenance. They are professional and curteous. I will continue to use them.

Very well. New unit is 90% efficient using a run of PVC pipe for venting.

They were fantastic. I love using them. I request James every time. Last year they came out to replace one of our A/C units. They gave me a very good deal. The installers were great. They came out yesterday for a repair on the second one and gave a reasonable price on replacement.

We had their Technician - Matt Losco - out to review and recommend a replacement central air conditioning unit. He was exceptionally professional, cordial, informative and non-condescending. Bottom line - he did a great job explaining what was needed, why and options available. When he did not know an answer, he called and got it immediately from his office. Their office even suggested an alternate for us. We have had several other firms' techs and sales people here to discuss our AC needs, but he was by far the best. If I could give him a better rating I would but the 5 Stars are my only option. We sincerely appreciate this man and his company. "LT"

The installation went very well. Not entirely satisfied with the air conditioning unit installed.. Cools very slowly.

The first tech who came out was very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. He did not have the part to fix my humidifier on his truck and further diagnostics was needed with a senior tech in order to identify why my furnace was shorting out. I understood and an appointment was scheduled for the next day between 11-2. I took the majority of the day off of work to accommodate the appointment. When the tech did not arrive at 2, I called Pickerington Heating and Air to find out where the tech was. I was told he was delayed but would be here in “40 minutes max”. Two hours later, he still had not arrived so I scheduled an appointment with another company. I found it extremely rude that this company didn’t feel it was necessary to contact me to let me know of the delay. Had they informed me of the delay, I could have returned to work. Since they did not, they lost a customer. As I was writing this review, Pickerington Heating and Air did call to say a tech was on the way. There was no apology nor attempt to make things right. Clearly, this company needs to address their customer service issues.

The technician quickly identified and corrected the issue. Very professional. We would definitely use them again.

It went well. The technician was thorough and seemed to know what he was doing. He took the time and seemed to do a more thorough inspection than other companies I have hired. I would hire them again.

They charged $507 for 20 minutes work, to install a $70 part, a part which I could have easily replaced myself but which local suppliers would not sell me. When I complained about the cost I was pressured into buying a brand new furnace for a "great price". I refused. I diagnosed the problem using online tutorials as an intermittant gas valve. I told Pickerington H&C exactly what I needed but they refused to do any work without a $69 service call. The service call took 5 minutes for me to tell them what was wrong and for them to agree. A genuine replacement part cost about $150 but I discovered a cheaper compatible part for about $70. I called local parts companies who confirmed that they had the part in stock, but would only sell to licensed installers (thus protecting their markets). When Pickerington H&C arrived they had the cheaper part but the installation cost was exactly the same, $438. It took him 15-20 minutes to unscrew the old valve and screw in the new one. They were punctual but charged too much, knowing I needed heat and could not buy the part locally. They then agreed it was expensive and tried to persuade me into a new furnace. I will shop elsewhere.

I received 5 quotes on two HVAC systems to replace my 25-year-old units. I did a lot of research to be sure I could compare apples to apples with each quote. There are a lot of choices and opinions out there, but nothing matters unless the installation work is of high quality. When I called Pickerington Heating & Cooling, I explained my objectives and they made the good choice of sending Installation Manager Jeremiah to quote my job. Jeremiah was a stand out from the start and earned my business and respect. From the initial visit and assessment, to the selection of products and finalization of prices, Jeremiah was knowledgeable, ensured my objectives were reflected in his recommendations and quotes, and was a delight to work with. The fact that the company sent the installation manager to quote my job was very important to me. Jeremiah spoke highly of the quality of work of his installers and assured me he would also stop by during the install, which he did. Installers Corey, Jimmy, and Marvin were very experienced and professional and did a great job. Jimmy and Marvin shared that they have worked as a team for many years ... that is impressive and it surely showed in the quality and efficiency of their work. Corey was training a new installer and did most of the install work himself. Corey and his trainee were jovial, professional, and patient throughout what was a challenging job and very long day. Jeremiah was very knowledgable about product rebates and company discounts. Because of this and his hard work to earn my business, I believe I was able to get high-end Carrier products at prices that others were charging for what I felt were lesser overall products. Good people make all the difference. When you find them, give them your business.
