Property is being renovated prior to our move in, we live an hour away. They performed the work as scheduled and gave me a report of the condition of the two furnaces. The recommended that the units be replaced, since they were old and inefficient, which makes sense. I asked them to give me an estimate to replace the whole system with a heat pump. They refused to do an estimate without me there so that "they could explain the benefits of the new system". I explained my situation and asked if we couldn't have the estimate discussed over the phone. I was told that their policy was that the homeowner had to be present. Does this make sense? There are other suppliers that would be happy to accommodate my needs.

Furnace had not been cleaned in over three years and it was past time for a cleaning. They were promopt . effecient and professional.

Kelly was punctual and very patient as she explained all the details to me so I knew what she was checking. Often times, technicians didn't explain what they were doing, which made me wonder why the services ended so soon. I know it's partly because our HVAC set is just three years old. But if it is an x-point service, I expect the technician to do all they said they would do. However, I forgot to go through the 17-point list with her. After she left, I found that she did not lubricate motors, bearings, fans and circulatros as said on the list when I purchased it. I don't know if she forgot to do it or it was not necessary. Despite of this, she has done more than what other technicians did before. I also highly appreciate the company's work ethics and customer service on the phone.

Great! Kelly was the service technician, she was through, knowledgeable and explained everything as she was going. My furnace is in a closet in the garage and when she had to go into the house, she put booties over her shoes so she wouldn't get the carpet dirty.

Overall went very well, good price with very professional and capable technicians.

I got the special for furnace check up via Angie. The tech shows up right on time, and gets the job done quickly. Appears to be knowledgeable with the furnace. Cleans up after work, and pretty honest with part pricing as well. Will recommend to friends, and will use again in the future for sure.

Kelly Pauley was a terrific Service technician for a furnace check and cleaning. She was on time, extremely nice, has a great heart and worked efficiently. In less than an hour she had explained and showed me everything that she was doing and why it was important for my furnace. Provided good recommendations for allegen filters for my allergy laden family without making feel like she was "up selling" me or being pushy. I mentioned that I had smelled a a little gas near the furnace a few days ago after making my appointment. She checked all over the furnace and verifyied that it had no leaks, and went the extra mile to check the valves associated with our water heater (located right next to the furnace) where she found a significant gas leak and demonstrated to me where she found the leak. THANK YOU Kelly for going the extra mile and potentially saving my family from a major problem in the future!! I will definitely use Fire & Ice and ask specifically for Kelly from my furnace and A/C needs!!

They were prompt. The workmen were very courteous. They wore booties. They cleaned my vents in addition to the installations. They put down drop clothes around the entire house. They got the work done quickly. They cleaned up everything and left no debris whatsoever. The price was the best out of all of the quotes I received. They did a fabulous job. I am very pleased.

They were punctual, checked the freon level, and even cleaned out an old rodent's nest that had taken up residence in the air conditioner housing. My HVAC Systemhad never been checked since the house was built in 2002 so it was good having the piece of mind knowing that everything was operating properly and efficiently.

We came home from work late on Friday to find our home extremely warm. Realized that the central air unit was not working properly. Started calling places on Saturday at 8 am that listed emergency services. Fire and Ice was one of only three that had a live person to talk to. Service technician was paged and returned a call to us. He explained the up front charge and the number of jobs he had ahead of us. He called periodically to tell us his status and arrived within the time window provided. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem, and to our surprise, had the necessary part in stok on his truck. He was courteous, professional and there is no doubt in my mind we would call again if needed. I read previous reviews where coupon was not honored - the coupon from the site was most definitely honored and we were pleased that the price on a Saturday without a service contract was less than $300. Would strongly recommend to anyone if you are ever in a bind for heating/cooling.

Fire and Ice showed up on time to perform a routine AC inspection. The technician put on shoe covers so as not to dirty the house and quickly proceeded to the basement to inspect the AC. From there the technician went outside and inspected the compresssor. The entire process took less than a half hour to perform. My AC was given a clean bill health. We have had no issues with the AC this summer.

Arrived on time and checked A/C unit. They found nothing wrong with A/C unit but found some rust in theheating unit. Since it was about 30 years old I had some estimates done for replacing the furnace.
