It didn't seem like they did anything special. I guess if something was wrong they would have said something. They checked the system sprayed the exterior A/C unit with the garden hose and were down in 20 minutes.

We contacted multiple companies and the Fire and Ice salesman we worked with, Arnie, was excellent. He did a thorough inspection of our house to make sure the furnace matched what we needed for our house. We didn't think he was trying to sell the furnace he thought we needed, he was making sure it was perfect fit for us. Their scheduling was great and their response time was perfect. They sent a team that was professional and thorough. They did an excellent job explaining to me what they were doing and explaining how the thermostat worked. They were very neat and overall, it was excellent.

It went well except they left the big dirty filter in the basement.

After purchasing the "deal", they called me to schedule! The tech arrived on time, after a phone call to say he was on his way. He introduced himself and put on shoe covers to protect my floors. After doing the the necessary furnace checks (changing my filter (I provided), setting the humidifyer, etc), he answered all my questions and adjusted vents in my crawl spaces to make those areas warmer upstairs. He explained their annual contract and left me a copy to think about. In the next couple days, I experienced a glitch with proper timing of the heat coming on, so Fire and Ice scheduled the tech back out very quickly at no extra charge to me. It ended up being a simple fix that solved the problem. Fire and Ice has a live person who answers their phone in a very friendly, business-like manner. The tech was professional, experienced, and competent. I will use them again in the future.

The work was performed by Brian Zimmerman. Brian explained everything to me, answered my many questions and went about his work. He made some adjustments and pronounced the system AOK. I liked the fact that he took the time to explain what he found and what we could/should do going forward. Excellent job by Brian!

Fire & Ice were very pleasant on the phone when getting information about the problem I was having with the furnace and arranging for a diagnostic. They were early both for the diagnostic and the subsequent service appointments, which was convenient for me, and called in advance to verify their arrival time. The technician was very professional and pleasant to work with. The problem with the furnaces was diagnosed quickly, a necessary part ordered, and in a couple days it was installed. Everything went very smoothly. I would definitely use Fire & Ice again and recommend this company to others

Signed up through Angie's List for a furnace check-up before it gets cold. Brian Z., the technician, called prior to the appointment time and said that he was running a bit ahead of schedule, and asked if he could arrive early. That worked out great for me. Once he arrived, he put on booties and went to work. He checked out the wiring and also checked for any leaks along the gas line. He made sure that the humidifier was clean and ready to go for winter and also adjusted the water flow to the humidifier. Brian answered all my questions clearly. All in all, a very positive experience.

Fire & Ice called me themselves the next day, and scheduled the tune-up then and there. The technician came a few days later, on time, and did a thorough job cleaning the furnace and checking it carefully. I was very satisfied with the job he did. I also purchased the special offer for two other properties that I rent, and my tenants had only good things to say about the technicians from Fire & Ice.

After the woman arrived, she took off her shoes. I showed her where our furnace/air conditioner was located and she inspected the unit. She took temperature and pressure tests and told us that everything was working just right. I thanked her and said we would call her company if we ever needed work.

He was here when he said he was going to be here. He said I needed more freon and that cost $85.00.

The technician arrived and thoroughly evaluated our furnace, making small changes where needed. He was also very knowledgeable and answered many questions I had about my furnace and how to make it more efficient. I was very happy with the service and I will use them again.

Purchased 2 $59 deals for furnace/AC inspection tune up. They called me to set up the appointment about 2 days after I purchased the deals. Appointment 2 weeks out fit my calendar so we agreed on that. Serviceman showed up on time, put on his shoe covers and got to work insepcting the 2 furnaces. He tested them, replace the filters with filters I supplied, inspected and replaced the drip filter in my whole house humidifier (I supplied the drip filter). Notified me that I would probably need a fan replaced in the not too distant future on one furnace (it's ~18 years old), but no pressure on the sale. He said I could call their office to have someone come out to give an estimate. Very courteous, professional.

They scheduled the appt for between 3:30-4:30 pm. The tech was running a little late but he called and explained the situaton. He did show up when he stated he would. He went downstairs to the furnace and cleaned everything and did a full service check. He then came upstairs explained what he did to the furnace in laymasn's terms. He also went over a service agreement with me and explained how beneficial this would be for me to have. He was very professional and very personable. I would recommend them to anyone!!!!!!

My HV/AC system wasn't pushing air through the vents, I suspected that it was the blower motor but given that I'm not a HV/AC specialist I wanted to get it evaluated by a professional. Called Fire and Ice, the office was very professional and friendly, had an appointment for a tech to come out within two business days. Terry arrived at the house on time as scheduled. I explained to him the issue and he quickly confirmed that it was indeed the blower motor. Terry was very expedient, knowledgeable and personable. He gave me a quote and informed me that it would take a couple days to get the part in. Given the price for repairs on my 19 year old system Terry suggested that I consider replacing in lieu of repairing. I agreed to consider it and we schedule an appointment for a "Comfort Consultant" (sales rep) to come out. Terry provided a "temporary" solution to increase the airflow while we made our decision. Maggie, the "Comfort Consultant", called on the day of our appointment and was available to arrive about 45 mins early if it worked for me, so she was not only on time but ahead of time. Maggie was well prepared for our meeting, she pulled information from the county auditors website about my home ahead of time which sped up the process. We discussed what I was interested in, any planned home renovation projects, she took measurements, made her calculations and then offered her recommendations with a few different options. She too was very professional and knowledgeable, she made some recommendation from observations around the home on how I could improve efficiency and performance rather I decided to go with a new system or repair the old one. She also made a recommendation on one of our home renovation projects that probably saved us from future headaches and money! The only negative about my entire experience with Fire and Ice is that I had a couple questions that Maggie couldn't answer at the time and she would suppose to follow back up with me in a couple days which did not happen, I called the office almost a week later to get the answers and again the office personnel was very pleasant and helpful. All in all I had a great experience with Fire and Ice and will use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

Company called to set up appt since they saw I had purchased the deal. Appt was for 8 am. Driver called 7:50 to say he would be 15 minutes late due to weather (Sandy). Arrived about 30 min late. Performed the 17 pt check, gave me the receipt and left.

Terry was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We have a very old furnace & he told us the importance of replacing it.

The serviceman showed up within the timeframe I was told. He was very friendly and explained everything. Work was done in a reasonable manner. He also explained some options for future work, but did not pressure me into anything. This was the third time I've used this company and I have no complaints!
