Great. I got my new furnace right before the weather turned cold.

I was very pleased. I felt the service person went over and above to ensure my furnace was running efficiently. Very pleased.

I purchased the heating/cooling contract mainly because the technician, Kelly, made me feel so comfortable and explained exactly what services I would be getting for my money. She showed me the filters she would be using. I felt very comfortable with her expertise. I feel confident that my heating and cooling will be well taken care of.

It went very well. The technician showed up and asked me a few questions about what was happening. She opened the control board and discovered the power pin was loose. A new power supply would have cost around $300 dollars. Instead, she was able to rig something up so we wouldn't need one; at least not right away. I appreciated that very much as she saved us $300!

We had previously hired a different company to fix our heat pump, they were unable to properly diagnose the problem, so we contacted Fire and Ice. They quickly found the problem, replaced a wire, and got us back up and running.

Bought the air conditioner check on one of the Big Deals. Company had to reschedule once due to an employee being off, but that was not a big deal since our schedule was flexible. They arrived on time, performed the check, explained everything and finished the job.

The overall experience was A-One. The technician showed up at specified time with prearrival call. Went to work immediately and took great care to preserve condition of my home including wearing booties even though they were unneccessary. He checked all funtions of system including my humidifier and separate dehumidifer (for summer use). My humififier was purchased earlier as a unit that did not have a humidistat to sense ambient humidity and control unit from that reading. Apparently the difference between the two was price and simply connecting the wires of the sensor. The technician connected the wires so I actually received "bonus" service, for which I am quite greatful. Technician performed necessary testing and did not try to upsale me on any unneaded supplies, equipment or services. I will definitely contact Fire And Ice for my future HVAC needs. After signing up for the Angie's List special I quickly received an Acknoweldging email follwed the following day by a contact phone call from office to schedule the service. I was and am impressed their diligence.

Very satisfied with our experience. We plan to use thier service agian in the future.

The service rep was very professional and explained the service, cost, etc very clearly. My issues are with the company. They charged a flat fee of $225.00. The service rep had already been there once for an Angie's Deal A/C check. He then determined there was a leak but could not search for it at that time. On this visit he took about 30 minutes to find the leak and make an estimate to repair it. He spent another 10 minutes or so with us explaining our options. So for about 40 minutes I paid $225 (about $337 per hour). This is very excessive. I don't understand why there is a flat fee. Why shouldn't I be charged for time spent? One other issue: their estimate to repair was in excess of $1200. Otherwise I could replace it. I found another company who repaired it for $900. The unit works great.

Shortly after A/C tune-up, fan broke. Co. honored 30 day warrenty. however, we wished they would have provided a written estimate of repair cost, prior to work, as we were caught offf-guard by pricy cost . repair

I used this company before for my air conditioning unit and they were great! great price, great people. This time My furnace went out and Terry came over and was really nice. He reminded me of my dad. (Maybe it was the cowboy belt buckle and mustache.) Anyway, he was on time and did a great job finding out the problem in record time! He told me the cost upfront and installed it very quickly. My house has heat! My furnace is REALLY old so Terry also gave me info on getting a new furnace before 5/1/2013 and called for me to set up an appt for a free consultation..... I will recommend this company to anyone who needs anything done with heating and cooling in the future. Great Company!

Technician arrived on time, was courteous, professional, and quickly checked the air conditioner and found nothing further was needed. I questioned him about keeping lawn mowing debris from collecting on outside and he gave me suggestions on what to buy to help.

They did an okay job. I'd hire them again. The price was good.

This was a special deal from Angie's List. Serviceman came on time and was courteous and friendly. He checked the furnace and said it was in good operating condition. He said the rust in the heat exchanger could become a problem and said he would have a sales rep call to give us an estimate on repair, so far no one has called.

Our air conditioner and furnace was no longer properly regulating the temperature and little air was moving through our vents. We had incorrectly guessed we had a problem with the blower. We called Fire & Ice at approximately 4:30 pm and were routed to an answering service as opposed to a direct contact. They took down our information and the issue we were experiening and stating we'd likely get a call back by 6pm. I never received a call back, so I called in again the next day around noon. This time I reached a direct contact and they sent a technician out that evening. The technician was very friendly and courteous. He promptly diagnosed the issue as the compressor being frozen which was blocking air from moving through the system. He stated it was caused by either a dirtly compressor or low charge, but he would not be able to know until the compressor thawed for 24 hours. He informed us that they would attempt to get us on the schedule the next day and I would receive a call in the morning stating when they would come back. I was charged a $60 fee for them to come diagnose the issue, and he stated he would waive this fee for the second visit. I did not receive a call the next morning, so I called in again and asked when they'd be coming back. The representative put me on hold to contact the technician that had visited, and he moved around his schedule to come back to our house between 12-1pm. The technian arrive as promised and determined the compressor was not dirty, but the charge was low. He charged the A/C and the issue was resolved. Their $60 fee was waived as it was paid the day before, and the cost of charging the A/C was $140. The A/C and furnace are both original to the house (21 years old). The technician explained they were well beyond their life expectancy, but still functional. He suggested we monitor to see how low the charge will last, but he did not believe there were any major leaks. I was very appreciative that he was honest of the condition of our old equipment, and he did not try to upsell us or scare us into puting more money than necessary into our A/C & furnace. Overall the company was not incredibly responsive, but they were very trustworthy, honest, and courteous. I would use this company again.

It was the first time I had used them. They were really punctual and there weren't any hidden fees. They didn't try to upsell me on anything either.

Given that our furnace is old and needs replacing, this isn't entirely a negative reflection on the service, but I don't think we got much in the way of a tune-up. That said, the sales rep who came out following the tune-up was very professional and helpful, and we will likely acquire a furnace from this company when the time comes.

I had an older furnace and a/c, with the start of the winter season I decided to get the furnace checked up. The technician arrived on time, was very knowledgable and friendly. She did a through check and turne up of the furnace and because of the age and wear suggested I think about getting a new one. I ended up taking her suggestion and got both a new furnace and a/c and have been very satisfied with the new units. I would recommend Fire and Ice.
