The technician explain what he was doing and how the unit should function. He was able to answer the questions I was asking.

Unfortunately, only three months later, my furnace failed. When it was examined (by a different company), they said that an important safety feature had been disabled or probably never installed properly. I do not believe that Fire & Ice was responsibile for this situation, but I can't help wondering why they didn't detect the missing safety feature? This is the whole reason I probably wouldn't use them again.

Got the deal through Angie's List, complete A/C inspection for $59. They were punctual and did a good job.

My prior HVAC serviceman, a small business, had retired and moved, so looking for a new company for annual tuneup. Did a good job, also figured out that the prior serviceman had incorrectly set up the digital thermostat so heat was only using gas and not the heatpump. Arrived promptly and worked quickly. Will definitely sign up for the annual plan.

Contacted Fire&Ice to take advantage of the Angie's List Deal for installation of a furnace humidifier. From scheduling through to installation, the service was great. Tech was skilled and a good communicator. As a repeat customer of Fire & Ice, I've come to expect great work from this company and they have consistenty met their high standards.

They were on time, checked everything then i asked a question and the tech rechecked a couple of things.

We had to reschedule the appointment once at the last minute. They evenutally performed the service and about a week later the heater went out.

He performed the tune up and cleaned my air filter. They did a really good job. He was very good and didn't talk a lot. He went right to work. He we courteous and had proper ID. 90% of them have marked cars. The price was very good.

Very prompt..Believe scare tactic used. Indicated that my furnace was bad and had carbon monoxide leaking, no from cracks but when furnace kicks on...no cleaning performed, in fact, the lady turned my gas off. Had person come right away to try to sell me new furnace. Decided to ask friend who also does for living and could not find any leaking carbon monoxide. Oh, also was told carbon monoxide detectors did not help I was still being poisoned. Very disappointed with service technician. This was over a year ago...do not remember date nor what I paid thru Angie's list. Do not use my name in any reports. Thank you...this one did not work out.

The technician arrived on time, inspected the unit in the basement and outside. He cleaned the coils and added some refrigerant to the unit. The entire process took less than 30 minutes, but my unit is approximately 10 years old and still in great shape.

When I made the appointment the there was an appointment that was available for the date and time that was convenient for me. The service techican was on time. The service techican explained the work that he was going to perform. The service techinican offered suggestions to make my furnace run more efficiently. The service techincan also offered information on additional services the company provided. However, there was no pressure to purchase additional services

It turned out very, very well. I was very pleased with it.

Kelly came out to our place for a repair on a furnace that wasn't functioning properly. She found the issue quickly and set up an appointment for a comfort care evaluation and new furnace estimate later this week. She was prompt, pleasant, and knowledgeable.

Arne did a great job educating us on what we needed to know to go from a 70% efficient furnace to a >90% furnace. All the work was done as described and in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend Fire & Ice Heating and A/C

Excellent Service experience. Started from the first phone call to use my deal. Unfortunately, I had misplaced my 'Deal' certificate and it had expired by 45 days or so. The company (Fire and Ice) was kind enough to honor the deal and perform the tune up Office called about 30 mins in advance of the appt. Tech arrived, on time, introduced himself, covered shoes immediately and went to work. Tech spent about 35 to 45 mins. Cleaned furnace, changed filter, adjusted gas flow. etc. He also gave me info about overall condition of the furnace (which is about 11 years old) Tech also shared info about new furnace regulations coming on line in May 2013 which require 95% efficient units .. but will also cost more to install Upon request, shared literature on warranty program and other services/equipment (humidifiers, air cleaners, etc) I would use Fire and Ice again. this is my second experience with them and both techs were friendly and knowledgeable.
