Fire & Ice Heating and Air Conditioning came when they said they would and they did what they said they would do.

Arrived exactly on time, very professional, very thorough. Did not push for additional expenditures, but made good suggestions for future consideration.

It could not have gone better. Brad is outstanding at his job. He arrived on the dot, was friendly but not familiar, knew how to clarify various issues, and worked steadily on what he had to do. After he catalogued the various options for the future (and he did not push at all), I decided to invest in the $1,400 air purifier. A major reason for my choosing to purchase the unit from Fire and Ice is Brad. His efficiency, straightforwardness, and ability to explain the operation of various gadgets and units inspired confidence. A terrific representative of Fire and Ice!

They were very professional and they did a good job!

We were very pleased with Brad from Fire & Ice. Our furnace stopped working overnight, so we woke up on Saturday morning to a freezing house. Brad showed up on time and was professional and friendly. He quickly confirmed the problem, reviewed our replacement part options with us, replaced the part, and cycled the furnace to ensure that the unit was fixed. We were offered an annual service agreement at that time and feel comfortable with the amount we paid for the Saturday service call and part and one full year of service for our A/C and furnace.

The young lady who came out to perform normal routine maintenance on our furnace was really nice and did a really good job. She didn't bring any dirt in when she arrived. She was a little late but it was not an inconvenience to me I was at home and sometimes it just happens beyond your control and she did apologize to me. I was told by her before leaving that I had a really good furnace. She seemed really professional and I have no complaints whatsoever. The furnace is working like it should and we have had no problems with it.

They really tried to gouge me. Their technician was fantastic and knew her stuff, but the prices were wicked (as in preditory and evil). Let me be specific: Their price to swap out the blower motor: $600 + labor Actual cost of the motor I bought myself: $180 Their price to swap out the fan wheel: $200 + labor Actual cost of the fan wheel I bought myself: $45 Their price to swap out capacitor: $200 + labor Actual cost of the capacitor I bought myself: $7 That's $1,000 plus labor. I spent $232 and did the work myself. I understand that they need to make a profit and mark up prices on parts. I get that. But $1,000 vs. $232? That's wicked.

A Fire and Ice crew arrived on time and installed both an air conditioner and high-efficiency gas furnace all in one day.

Everything was as promised. No surprises

In and out in 30 minutes. Did some tests and told me everything was in great shape. No pressure, no hype, no sales tactics. Just came with a smile, did the inspection and tune up and was very professional. I got exactly what I wanted out of it and didnt have to deal with the usual pushy sales tactics.

Very well. Technician was on time and very friendly. It took a while to get everything out of the condenser coils in my AC unit and he checked everything thoroughly. He went over the work order with me and suggested what could be done in the future. Good job!

They were on time, professional and prompt. They also cleaned up afterwards. I would use them again.

I have used Fire and Ice before. The owner, Scott, runs a TIGHT ship. He does not put up with any of his people performing less than professionally or doing anything unnecessary. They came out, they fixed the AC, they explained what was needed, why it was needed, and what we can do to prolong the life of the unit. I felt like I walked away knowing more about the HVAC of my house than before. Not only will I call Fire and Ice again, I can't imagine why I'd call anyone else. Absolutely perfect experience every time. This time was great, in our last house we had two calls with them (one heat, one AC) that were great. They are three for three!! (FYI - I just joined Angie's, but I wanted to share with the community this really great company)

They arrived on time and cleaned the furnace prior to winter use. Professional and polite. I would use them again.

They put in a new thermostat and adjusted it for us. It was having problems, and they came back out to take care of us. But ever since our heating bills have been lower, so they have saved us a lot of money.

The technician was on time and was very friendly. He immediately went to work on the furnace, running his inspection and other tests. He saw that my filter needed to be replaced, and if he had the right one, he would have given it to me. Instead, he cut a piece of filter material to the proper size and installed that, which was very kind. He instructed me to buy a new filter, where to go, and which size I needed. Overall a great experience, it only took a half hour or less.

Curt, Prompt, nice, knowledgable and professional. Would recommend them for all needs. Their furnace and air conditioning package is a great deal .

It was a very good service call, she came at the appointed time, check my thermostat replaced the battery, took me outside and explained everything. I was very satisfied with the service

The scheduling lady was very nice and flexible, and paid attention to understand my requests. She switched me to a priority list after learning I have young children and the heater was not working. The "advanced tech" came in on time as scheduled, and was able to find out that the because the furnace did not get enough oxygen, it could not maintain stable flames, which causes insufficient burning, which causes the furnace shutdown itself for protection from leaking gas. She took a panel off so more air can come into the furnace, as a temporary workaround before finding out what the root cause is. However, she was not knowledgeable enough to pinpoint the root cause, and did not know where the exhaust pipe that goes out of the house (later I found out it's together with the the air intake pipe in a coaxial design), Instead she suggested another more advanced tech come with her and use a "snake" to explore all my pipes to see whether there is any clog. After she left, I walked around the house and found a piece of pipe fell loose, and then realized that the exhaust pipe was inside the air intake pipe in a coaxial design. After I pushed the loose pipe back to place, I put the panel the advanced tech removed, and the furnace worked just fine, and having been working ever since. I called the advanced tech trying to explain what I did. She seemed completely shut off her brain, and did not listen to what I said, and insisted I use the "snake" service. I then called the appointment lady and canceled the appoint for the snake service (which cost money even though the first visit did not solve the problem) the advanced tech scheduled. I'm a layman and was able to fix the problem (by luck I guess). However I was amazed that the "advanced" tech did not have any knowledge of my air intake/exhaust pipe design, which tells me that this company may have some opportunity training their techs.

Had a free furnace cleaning & inspection on Feb 4 from when I purchased a new air conditioner. All went well, but the very next week thermal coupler went bad on furnace. They replaced it and only charged for the part since they had been here the week before.

They said everything with the unit was fine. The guy was really nice and was on time. He explained what he did and was very clean and professional. I used an Angie's List Big Deal special for this service and I got an appointment with them fairly fast; it was easy and I did not have a complaint with him.

It went fine and the price was right. They were the ones that originally installed my HVAC system. They showed up pretty quick, first thing in the morning, within 10 or 15 minutes of when they said; probably less than that if I remember right. I was satisfied with their work and I have recommended them.

They came on time, the woman was polite, and very informative. I would use them again.
