I got to know about Fire and Ice through an Angie's list Big Deal. Since then (two years ago) I have used them quite a bit. I have a service contract with them - they come out twice a year, once to check the furnace and once to check the air conditioning. Since we just bought a new condo, I had them come and check the furnace and show me where the furnace filter was located. Ends up that the previous owners did not have the most efficient furnace filter , so I purchased one from Fire and Ice and had them install it. I am also having them install a humidifier on the furnace next week. Everything Fire and Ice does is excellent. If there is any type of problem, they come right out to fix it.

A person from Fire and Ice called to remind me that I was due for an annual service maintenance of my air conditioning system as I had signed up for an annual contract in the winter when I was having a furnace problem. I called back a week later and she was able to schedule someone the next day. OJ was the technician and he was very professional and thorough. He spent a long time washing down the coils in the outside unit (in the hot sun) and did work on the parts in the basement. He took time to explain that my unit is getting older and probably needs to be replaced any time in the next 5 years. He also looked at my thermostat and explained how I can set for one temperature and have it "hold" - such a relief as programming my thermostat is something that is very frustrating for me. Again, OJ was a great technician - he quietly got it all done and took his time doing it. Thank you.

The staff at the office were called to set an appointment after I procrastinated after getting several notices. OJ was friendly and did a great job making sure I knew what he.was doing and answering any questions that I had. Great company whose staff is always pleasant

Called company to do routine maintenance on my air conditioner but was also having a problem with water/condensation. They came out initially to find that there was ice in the line. So provided with me with directions to thaw the lines. The company called me back promptly to reschedule the appointment. They came back out and was able to do the necessary maintenance including adding more freon. Everyone was very courteous and professional. I would recommend this company for air conditioning/heating needs.

Scott and his crew at Fire and Ice have done excellant work for us for nearly 10 years. Getting an appointment within a reasonable time frame has never been a problem. Their service technicians have been punctual (on the one occasion they couldn't make the appointment time they gave me 2 hour's notice), courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. All of my experiences with Fire and Ice have been very good, but three stand out: 1. replacement of our dead A/C within 24 hours of my call. They worked into the evening hours to knock it out in one day. 2. providing info on replacing a malfunctioning thermostat myself at a significant savings when they couldn't get to it iimmediately 3. providing us with 6 space heaters (delivered during a heavy snowstorm) to help warm the house overnight when our furnace died during a deep cold spell in early Jan. 2010. They were able to replace the furnace the next day. Need I say more?

I called on a Sunday evening, hoping I could get on the list to be on Monday's repairs. Monday morning, I received a call and was scheduled for that afternoon. The service man called in advance, and was right on time. Everything went very well. He inspected the system and even pointed out a few ways we could make adjustments and improve our cooling. I couldn't have asked for better response and better service. The price was about what I expected - we used their 20% off coupon provided in the newspaper. I will definitely use them again for maintenance.

The technicians introduced themselves and got right to work. Very pleasant, Finished in great time. Reviewed everything with me and I signed off on everything. Unit is quieter than previous unit. Seems to be more efficient and we did get a followup visit from the salesman that initially came to our home. We have a year free of a maintenance contract. Will probably renew at end of 1 year. I look forward to doing business with this company.

Dealing with Fire and Ice was a pleasure. They came out, gave us options on different models and financing. We decided on a model and scheduled the installation. The installation team was there on time and was finished on time. Everything was handled in a very professional manner. They followed up with us a couple of months later just to check and make sure everything was working ok and that we were happy with our purchase. I would definitley use them again!

Very professional, thorough. Appointment obtained quickly, and technician was prompt. Unfortunately he was underbid by another Angie's List provider. Would consider using service in future if price competitive.

Upon finish of install, city inspector noticed incorrect breaker installed in electrical box. F&I fixed this. However it was inconvenient for me to have to use more time off for another appointment. Otherwise, staff were courteous, on time, efficient, and knowledgable.

Fire and Ice were great. Roger walked us through all the options and after getting quotes from other companies they were the best. The install was perfect. They arrived on time and we barely knew they were here. They finished the job quickly and cleaned up. They have followed up to make sure we are satisfied. A+++ job for Fire and Ice, we will for sure use them again.

Great, another service provider, which we'd used for years came and quoted us over $600 for the same job. This smelled like scalping to us so we called Fire and Ice for a quote. They came and they did the same job for 1/3 of the cost.

I really liked them. They were thorough and answered all my questions. I wold have them again.

Very good. Service rep phoned me when he was on his way. He was very polite and put covers over his shoes to prevent tracking in the house. Took about half an hours. I ended up buying their maintenance program so they will come back in the fall to check the furnace.

Technician was professional and easy to work with. He explained each step as he did it, and did what was needed.

The tech arrived on time, found the problem in about 20 minutes, left and returned in about 30 minutes with the needed part. All works well.
