Heater wasn't coming on even though the exhaust would start up and run, nothing else would happen. Brad from Fire and Ice went quickly to work and analyzed the issue which turned out to be clogged ports in the system. No parts were required. Unit was operational in under an hour. Brad was extremely polite and well spoken and seemed to know exactly what he was doing. We used the Angie"s List coupon to bring final price down to $126.

The serviceman was polite professional and an excellent communicator. Bets service I have had for years.

Came on time and inspected furnace.

It went well. I actually worked with them before so I am familiar with their work. They were good about answering what was going on. You really get good advice about the system. They were great.

OJ seemed knowledgeable and thorough. The appointment was made just one day in advance in the time slot I was hoping to get (the person on the phone did mention that I lucked out).

My experience was fine. I had no problems with scheduling an appointment. They tried to sell me some additional services for future issues.

Everything was great. This was for a rental I have. I sent the technician there, he met the tenants and performed the service. The tenants remarked that he was very polite.

They offer 8 am appointments once or twice a week. I requested the 8 am and was told the work will take 45 minutes. At 8 am, i receive a call from the technician - OJ - that he was 15 to 20 minutes away and was that okay. He arrived at 8:28 so that was very much not okay. He walks in and immediately tries to sell me a service package. That would be no thank you. He adjusts the thermostat (saying he will turn it back once complete - which he did not) and then goes to look at the furnace. He shows me 2 things that I had specifically pointed out initially but never discusses anything else (like the notes on the invoice). Leaves around 9:15 and says that they will call me in the fall about the inducer motor that i had questions about. I say I would like a call the next day to understand the cost of replacing/fixing. I call the next day and learn that it will cost $700. I question the price because online, the part actually costs around $350-$400 and I had called other Heating & AC companies for quotes and they all quoted me $400-$500 so a $200-$300 difference is quite concerning. Not moving forward with any further service with this company and would not recommend.

Good experience. Company provided quick service and was able to provide us with good information about replacing our old furnace and the price was fair.

The technician (I believe it was OJ), was prompt and respectful. I definteily noticed a difference afterwards, in the amount of air that was coming out of the vents. I was really impressed so I had them come back and give me a quote on a new HVAC system. I was super impressed with Maggie, who gave me the quote (sorry, can''t remember the other person's name). She explained everything. I'm waiting on one more quote and then deciding. They were at my home over 2 1/2 hours explaining and taking measurements and doing calculations. They are definitely a conttender for my business.

OJ was such a nice, professional man. I felt comfortable with him in my house. Very polite and punctual. Called ahead when he was 15 minutes away. Experienced in his work and offered suggestions for future service without feeling like he was selling me something I didn't need. Will use them again.

Excellent service. Explained the problem and issue and suggested recommendations based on the age and condition of the furnace. They were able to come within and hour of me calling.

It went fine. There was an additional cost for some type of filter. They were on time, polite and did thier job well.

OJ came in and went to work on my furnace. He showed my how dusty it was inside of the furnace based on the sanding i was doing in the basement. We changed out the filter after he completely cleaned out the inside of the furnace. He explained every step and measurement and assured me that my furnace was running well. We explained how the whole house humidifier works and that i could have that installed any time. I didn't depend on the current furnace. Very happy with OJ and Fire and Ice. Had them come out to show me new furnaces and AC's that we might want to upgrade in the near future.

As soon as the technicians arrived they began to try to sell year around services. We were out of filters at the time so I had them install a new one. The reason we called was because the motor had become much louder than normal and we felt it would need to be replaced. They told me that I would have to purchase a new furnace since mine was nearly twenty years old. They did manage to sell up a year around check up for $300+. Then they left. The motor continued to get louder over the next few days. We contacted a local furnace repair person. He came out, replaced the motor for $300.00 (labor & parts). My furnace is now running quiet again.

I woke up to get ready for work and the house was cold. When I turned up the thermostat nothing happened. I called around 7:20 AM and a real person answered the phone. The person on the phone had me try a few things and then he told me a tech would be out between 10 AM and noon (same day). The tech was at my house at 10 AM. The tech didn't have the part with him on the truck but he explained that my furnace (Lennox) didn't use universal parts. He made some phone calls and told me the part was at a place about 45 minutes away but he could get it for me today. As promised the part was picked up and I had heat later that day. The tech was professional, courteous, and pleasant. I also liked that he had his ID badge clipped to his collar which made it easy to see.

It was fine. I felt comfortable with them. They talked to me about a good filter. I've used them before at my other home. One technician came out. They were honest. They are careful not to track anything in and wore booties. They were professionally friendly. They were accommodating with their schedule. I would refer them to other people.

He put some gauges on it, looked at the filter and checked some things out. He was very nice and courteous.

He was a little late but not by long. Very professional and looked over the whole unit and we knew after internet research we likely had low Freon. We knew what others had paid to have their Freon recharged so we knew what we weren't willing to pay. Thankfully he said we only needed two pounds and the price was competitive. It didn't take too long, maybe 15 minutes. Despite our unit being 18 years old, he said it was in perfect working order but over the next 5 years we might want to be budgeting for replacement because they are phasing out allowing old units like ours to be serviced. I never felt like we were being taken advantage of and he didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. Would definitely use again!

Just want to express our appreciation for our technician, OJ Jackson, who came to our home for a furnace tune-up yesterday. This was our first time having Fire & Ice service our system. OJ was very professional & personable and answered all our questions. He even figured out the answer to a heating issue that has plagued us for over a decade and which has stumped every other HVAC company that has entered our home. He also pointed out a problem with how our furnace fresh-air intake had been improperly set up when it was installed about 5 years ago. We will be calling Fire & Ice soon to help us rectify this problem. Because of OJ, we signed up for "The Best" service contract with Fire & Ice, and will definitely recommend this company to family and friends. Many thanks for such a positive experience!

just did a basic system check, did not adjust the burners, as had been suggested by my home inspector.
