All went well. OJ, the technician, thoroughly cleaned the furnace, including the flame sensor and burners. He checked the fan motor, conducted CO test and set the humidifier.

Showed up on time. Performed the service. Did what they said they would. Quite satisfied.

OJ Jackson was on time and called 25 minutes before he came out. He is very professional, polite and answered all my questions. He explained things to me that I could understand. Great job. Would not hesitate using this company again.

Fire & Ice were recommended to me by a coworker. Inspected air conditioner and found the damaged part - which wasn't made any more. I could have it ordered a new one made, or order a new system. Since I knew the heating system was also original to the house, I decided to replace both at the same time. Maggie came to run the specs and worked up several options within my price range. I did bid out the work to check comps, and found that the two other companies I phoned actually employed Fire & Ice's installation crew and materials. They also made recommendations for electrictrician and plumber since I would be replacing my entire HVAC unit. The installation crew was prompt, courteous, and careful of my house. Their installation supervisor came the next Friday to inspect the work, and tweaked a few things. Everyone was above board and very professional. I'd recommend any of them.

All went well. Corey also briefly checked our furnace while he was here. We were pleased that our air conditioner was fixed so quickly and that we weren't being told that we needed to replace the entire unit (it is 14 years old). Service call was $89 and capacitor replacement was $161 for a total of $250, but we also had a $25 coupon which made our cost $225.

Had an Angies list deal for this service from Fire & Ice heating & cooling.Brad (service tech) was on time and checked out our Trane A/C unit,for proper operation and cleaned the unit too.He sat down afterwards and explained what he had done,plus went over the services that they do.

It went well. Provider was professional and knowledgeable.

I reviewed w/ the technician the issues I was having with my AC system and the actions I had done to I had done to correct it. He checked the pressure of my coolant system and found it to be in good order. He checked my newly installed capacitor and found that it was in good order. He evaluated my contactor. He notes some scoring on it, which would be expected for it being 5 yrs old, but found it in good order. He recommended that I replace it in Spring next year. He found a wiring issues which was easily and quickly corrected by him. He also inspected my furnace and found it in good order.

It went pretty good, but I feel like they didn't go that great of job. They didn't put anything back like it was. There is still stuff in the vents.

I phoned Fire & Ice yesterday to set up an A/C inspection and take advantage of their $49 special, as they are a top-rated company. To my surprise they were able to schedule me in for this morning - pretty quick service, or maybe I just hit it lucky. The technician was right on time, all went well with the inspection. He appeared to be very knowledgeable.

They were honest and did a good job. I would use them again.

They performed all items in the tuneup satisfactorily. We used them last fall for the furnace tuneup with the same results.

Basic tune up performed competently

It was so-so. It was alright. They honored the Big Deal price. For the discount price that I got, it was fine but I would never pay for their actual price. I had to wait forever because of the time of the year.

That was great. They did an excellent job. I have no complaints. I had used them before. One thing they do that I like is when you buy the Big Deal, then they call you to get it scheduled right away. Which is nice because I know in the past I've purchased several at a time and then I kind of call one and then I forget that I need to call another. For me it's nice when they and so okay let's get that scheduled. It went very well. I thought they did a thorough job. The person that was here seemed very knowledgeable. He gave me a pretty detailed summary of what he did and you know, what he found. He did a very good job.

Purchased the $49 tuneup deal through Angies List. Scheduling was done through an online form and subsequent communication as well. It took three back and forth email/online exchanges (which took a few days) before I realized that in reality the next available appointment was about 4-5 weeks away. I needed someone ASAP and cancelled the appointment. Arranged by phone with another business to come, they managed it in two weeks. Communication via the online form was inefficient, slow, and unclear. I wasn't happy with them at all.

Fire & Ice provided a quote on a new heat pump system. The sales person was punctual, polite, and professional in demeanor. She was direct and personable, and provided some interesting feedback on my system, ducting, etc. However, she didn't do a Manual J load calculation (or any sort of calculation) to determine whether the 4 ton system she recommended was a good fit for my house. When asked, she explained that she was simply quoting "like for like." (I'm replacing a 23-year-old 4 ton system.) Oversizing an AC or heat pump can cause significant problems: Higher humidity, shorter equipment life, and the larger unit costs more. I was very disappointed in the lack of effort to properly size this very important and expensive piece of equipment. I eventually purchased from the one company that did a load calculation (and tellingly, recommended a smaller unit).

Great - the guy was prompt and did what we asked him to do. We will use them in the future for sure!

Worker and supervisor were very friendly and professional. I appreciated how quickly they responded to the problem that arose and how the problem was explained to me. Luckily it was an east resolution.

Wonderful! He even fixed the outside AC electrical mount that was coming off the side of the house!
