Brad came out and diagnosed the problem and fixed it in less than an hour.

Furnace quit on a Sat. Tech came within hour and determined cause. Arranged to have parts shop opened and replaced faulty part. Then discovered heat exchanger was cracked and furnace unable to be repaired. When we indicated we would be leaving town in 36 hrs and were concerned about leaving our house unheated, he made several phone calls and arranged to have a salesperson come on Sunday morning (when they normally do not work) to make arrangements to install a new furnace while we were away. Work was completed on time and professionally (our wonderful friends handled the arrangements) and we came home to a spotless, warm house.

Service went very well. I have used them before and will continue to use them.

By not cleaning an exterior AC box they missed a fried capacitor. A second company performed a cleaning and inspection one month later (home request to remedy) that resulted in cleaning and replacing the capacitor ($400).

My experience was awesome. They were highly professional, very clean about their work. They put down tarps, booties on their shoes. They were quite and respectful. I honestly can't say enough good things about these people and company. The furnace is also amazing, it's keeping my home nice and cozy. I would highly recommend this company.

I needed to have my air handler refrigerant lines rerouted as they exited the evaporator and went straight down in front of the unit which prevented me from having enough room to replace the main blower. Sloppy install by a builder. Inexcusable. I spoke to several companies and they all wanted $650 or so for this simple project. Way too much for an easy hour or so of work. I called fire and ice and they came out, took a peak and quoted me $250 and 2 hours. A much more reasonable price. 45 minutes later and the tech was out the door. Very fast and good work. A few hours later and I replaced the blower motor myself saving a good chunk of change.

The install was smooth. They did block a vent with the air intake and exhaust. My issues with them started when I called them a few months later as it was installed in the spring and I started thinking about moving ductwork around in the fall. I called them and was informed that regardless of how much big a job I let them do a few months back there was a $70 or $80 charge to have someone come out and take a look. I understand companies don't want to waste their time and I would understand a charge in the $20-$40 range or this charge would be applied towards any work I decided to have them complete. However, since I was told these were not option available to me, and no exception would be made for someone who gave you over $3k worth of business within the calendar year. I chose to find another heating and cooling provider.

nThey were on time pleasant and all seemed to go well. about 30 days later furnace was not heating the west side of my home. They came back out today and the the service fellow said my furnace needed to be replaced and that the heating mechanism was bad he detected very large amounts of co2 and wanted to know if anyone has been sick. He also said that and showed me the signs of it going bad he said for several months probably. I am guessing the technician was not very experienced and now i have to take 4 more hours of my day for this am and to get a quote on a new furnace and i am sure will have to take of additional time for the installation. of course i am including the drive back and forth from my office. so not sure ill use them have to see what their quote is for today for the new furnace

The technician was polite, checked our furnace and also pointed out a few things that were potential issues for the future. Everything went well from start to finish. My only complaint was that the technician smelled (badly) of cigarette smoke and I could not stop coughing from it. I needed to open windows and light candles to get the cigarette smoke smell out of my house. I would use them again, but request a non-smoking technician.

I was not happy with them. The price was good. They could improve the quality of tuneup. They missed a lot of things that should have been noticeable. They didn't even check the humidifier, which had a really bad filter. It should have been changed. They didn't even check that. There were some components of the furnace that were not functioning that should have been caught had they done a decent inspection. This was the first time we used them.

We called Fire and Ice to inspect our furnace because it wasn't putting out any heat. Their inspection revealed that a main component was damaged beyond repair. A second opinion verified their findings We asked for replacement estimates and salesman Jay responded right away and we accepted their offer to replace the furnace and a/c. That was on Friday 10/30 and by 11/2 the job was done. Will,Angelo, and Alex arrived at 8am on that day and were done by 5pm. We are very pleased with Fire and Ice work. From start to finish they did everything they said they would do in a most professional and prompt way. Very impressed with this company.

Purchased the $49 furnace tune up for our heating system at the end of the winter season. Great value, everything was done as expected. Service was punctual and professional. Will purchase again.

Spent 1 1/2 hours, very thorough, very good. But then they never gave any response or estimate, never responded to emails or calls. Seems like we got dropped off their contact list. Disappointed as they seemed to have good reviews.

My experience with Fire & Ice worked out great from sales to servicet. Will and Angelo came out on time; they were very knowledgeable, and didn't mind answering my questions. Beside the furnace replacement, they did a very professional job on replacing much of the furnace duct work. Things got done is reasonable time for the work needed. Great job was done and i would have no problem using them again

Roger was very knowledgeable and helped me understand the specific functionality of the models I was choosing from. The technicians were punctual and kept the house clean while they took out the old unit and installed the new. I couldn't have been more pleased with how quickly they were able to get me on the schedule and complete my install. I would very much recommend Fire & Ice as the entire process was easy and everyone was professional and helpful. I do not impress easily but this company very much impressed me.

Was pretty impressed. Professional gentlemen, educated me quite a bit, on time and in branded, professional work clothes (more companies should invest in this ... it screams high quality and good employees). We didn't solve the problem but I don't blame the technician. The odor decided NOT to be present that day. While he was there he checked out some extra eequipment, tuned things a bit, gave me the thumbs up that all was acceptable and I'm good to go for a while. That was nice to hear.

Polite, clean (did not make a mess), prompt, & fast. Overall pleased with service.

It went perfectly. They are as advertised. I have had them here before they are great. I thought they were industrious. They were friendly and they were informative.

OJ arrived on time and got right to work. He was efficient, professional and clean. He left me with the sense that my HVAC was in tip top shape and ready for the change of seasons.

Technician was professional and, more importantly, seemed very knowledgeable and, I thought, trustworthy.

A month ago I had a home energy audit performed on our home through AEP (highly recommend). I had two recommendations from that audit I didn't know if my current HVAC company, Columbus Worthington Air could provide. I had the renewal notice from them to renew my service contract so I had left two phone messages with the Service Manager indicating I was a current customer and what my requests were. Never her back. I then turned to Angie's List to find a new HVAC provider. The reviews for everyone including Fire and Ice were invaluable to me and when I had sent an email through the AL portal to Fire and Ice I was met with a prompt response. The person that I spoke with was more than knowledgeable and directed me to the Fire and Ice website where they listed clear and plain each of their service contracts and the cost. They even offer a payment system!!! Needless to say, I signed a new FANTASTIC contract and had our fall inspection with Mr. OJ Jackson, service pro extraordinaire! He was amazing, efficient and helpful. If you are with any other HVAC company, you may very well be sacrificing the best for the good. Just my opinion.

Brad re-checked our AC system and found a crack in the evaporator drain pan that had not been detected by the first technician. Since this should be covered under warranty he directed us to contact the company that installed our HVAC unit. No additional charge was incurred although we did initially pay $61.00 for a minor repair that did not fix the problem.

Mr. Jackson arrived at scheduled time and completed work in a professional and timely manner. He patiently answered all of my questions and offered interesting and useful information on the operations of my furnace.

On time and on budget. They were very responsive through Angie's List email service.

Excellent. Could not ask for a better experience.
