Description of Work: The female technician came out to our house. She cleaned the air conditioning units and wanted to come in our house with filthy muddy shoes without putting booties on. I said no way. Then she said everything checked out okay. Well, a short time later we had the air conditioning turned on, and the air conditioning coolant had all leaked out near a loose screw. Another technician came out, put two gallons of coolant in, said our conditioner may have a leak. That was three months ago. We have not had a problem since. I am mad that they did not fill the whole unit back up to where it was. They only gave us two gallons. They also wouldn't admit wrongdoing on the part of their female technician.

Description of Work: For the service I got, and considering the parts were under warranty, I would not have expected to pay any where near what I did. The first I talked to them, I informed them that the fan was not working and asked them to make arrangements to locate the parts before coming out. When they arrived, indeed, the fan was not working and it took 4 days of silence before it could be found and a new appointment scheduled. The entire fix took 45 minutes soup to nuts, plus 4 days of silence spread across one 20 minute and one 25 minute appointment.

Since I work odd hours I thought it would be easier for them to contact me. I have yet to hear from them. I have since emailed another company and they will be here July 1st.

Description of Work: An AEP energy audit recommended a new thermostat (AEP third party provided) which I installed. The AEP unit was defective causing the engineer to spend time troubleshoot the heating system back to the defective thermostat. The technician was thorough and professional in his approach and took the best approach to solve this - in my opinion. I bought and installed a new thermostat from Home Depot and the unit worked correctly. | |My only regret was responding to AEP's "free" audit in the first place with other questionable advice that caused more issues than the service call and a new thermostat. | |
