Description of Work: Replaced old furnace and heat pump. The furnace casing was damaged and was extremely loud. I called several times and was given a variety of excuses but not a solution. Finally I was angry enough and had lost enough sleep that I told them I needed to have the furnace totally replaced. That's when the owner got involved and resolved the problem quickly. But the lack of communication and unwillingness to help among his employees Is a huge problem. I put up with this several weeks. I hope they have improved.

Description of Work: A/C tune up for $49.00. They had to cancel the day before because the technician got into a crash so I can't fault them. The tech was actually early to the appointment the next day and the appointment was smooth and even told me some maintenance things I could do to keep my A/C unit working smoothly.

Description of Work: Very thorough. We have had other companies perform routine annual maintenance on our furnace/air conditioner for 13 years and no one ever mentioned our humidifier. We thought it was broken. OJ pointed out all we needed was a new filter! He took care of it and was so helpful and personable. We've switched to this company for our furnace and air conditioning needs.

Description of Work: Asked for a AC diagnosis and was told the AC unit needs a major work and suggested for a new replacement. Asked Home warranties to check on the situation and was told the fuse was the issue and was fixed immediately. Called the company and was told the technician will call to explain...Never receive the call and no action was taken.

Description of Work: Fan stopped working on outside AC unit. Motor needed replaced. Called on a Monday and they weren't available to come until Thursday (I'm sure summer is a busy time). Service call was scheduled for a 9am-noon window. I took 1/2 day off work to wait but they never showed. Finally received a call around 1pm that they had us on the schedule for the 1-4pm window even though the scheduling notes clearly stated we requested 9am-noon. Everything went fine with the service after that mix up but we never received an apology for the waste of our time. I would probably use them again but would be sure to call ahead to confirm the correct time window.

Description of Work: Fire & Ice came out to do a furnace inspection purchased through the BIG DEAL. Their technician was very thorough and friendly. The scheduling department did a great job of calling repeatedly and leaving messages to get this scheduled as I, the customer, did a terrible job of returning her calls. If it had been me, I'd have given up but she kept calling at reasonable intervals reminding me that I had purchased this and that they would like to come out and get this taken care of. I was very pleased with their service.

Description of Work: I bought a HUD house that had a new AC unit that was half installed... F&I came in and got everything up and running. Very honest - they realized right after giving me the quote that there was something else they would need to do, and they threw it in for free since they already quoted me. Then they didn't end up needing to do some of the work they anticipated and took that off the quoted price. Will use them again!
