My overall experience with Fire & Ice was great and I would definitely use them again.

We had an estimator come to our old (1920s) home we just purchased to provide estimates/ideas on how to get cold air returns in the upstairs. He was very upfront and honest about our options and what he would do given our situation. He showed up the option if we went through the basement and he also explained the option of putting a unit in the attic. I really appreciated that he also took the time to answer other HVAC questions we had while he was there. It was very helpful given this is our first house and has lots of projects. We will be waiting until after our 1st summer in the house to determine if we really want a cold air return upstairs. If we decide we do, we'll use Fire & Ice. And once the construction on the inside of the house is done we are going to get the duct work cleaned through Fire & Ice.

Chuck arrived early for the appointment, and went straight to work. He conducted a complete check-up on my furnace, and cleaned his work space up when he was finished. Chuck was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and informative.

They provided nothing but excellent service from beginning to end. They were honest about discussing our options rather than coming in with a sales pitch.

Sean came to our house to clean the interior of the HVAC unit. He was very efficient and knew what he was doing. He removed dirt and pet hair from the blower wheel and cooling element. This made a huge difference in the air flow and I believe it will save money on our monthly bills. He was very professional and we are very pleased with the job done.

We were planning to have this work done for some time. When our dryer started acting up and turning off after one or two loads we considered that it might be due to the fact that in 18 years of use the duct had never been cleaned. Fire and Ice has been servicing our air conditioner and heating systems for the last couple of years and has always done a good job. During a recent service call we discussed the air duct cleaning and they quoted us a price of $350.00. We called them on a Wednesday and they confirmed the price of $350.00 and agreed to the Angie's List discount. They were at our home first thing Friday morning to do the job. Montel and Brandon were the two persons that did the work. They were neat and covered the floors. They were very careful to move items that were in the way and replace them. They explained the venting of the dryer duct which had not been set up properly when it was done. We felt they did a very good job and gave us some good information. We didn't realize what a big job it is and we were very impressed with how had they worked. We would not hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again if we were to have this work done in the future. Oh, and much to our delight, it was the vent causing the dryer problem. It works like a charm and we were saved a service call.

I can t say enough good things about this company. I interviewed three firms before I selected them and they were the only ones that were willing to do the job the right way. Doing it the right way in my case involved replacing the supply line that connects the outside unit to the inside air hander. Since I had a finished basement, the other two firms didn t want to tackle that and therefore didn t mention it. They also didn t try to sell me a system that was too big for my home. They quoted the smallest system of the three firms interviewed and it is working perfectly (putting in a system that is too big is as much a problem as one that is too small). The job took a team of three all day (8:00am until 6:30pm) because of the unique aspects of the job. The crew that showed up was professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this firm.

I had Fire & Ice Heating and Air come out to repair the heat pump in my house. They arrived on time and the work they did was of high quality. I was very satisfied with the whole experience and I would use them again if necessary.

Every interaction with this company has been impressive. Response has always been prompt and courteous. Owner is very dedicated, quality minded, and knowledgeable. Prices are absolutely fair. Would recommend this company to anyone without hesitation!

Found this company through Angie's List to have my mother's furnace and A/C replaced. Prompt, informed estimate by owner, Scott. Excellent customer service throughout entire process. Scheduled the work quickly. Work completed in 1 day. Installers worked very hard and stayed on task continually. Recommended much lower size furnace & A/C based on the size of home. We did have many companies come out to give estimates. Far and away the best company on many levels.

I had 13 year old furnaces/AC system failed. (on one of the hottest days of the year) Scott came out the same day I called and gave me an estimate for a new system. We scheduled a date to have the unit installed. The old system was removed, the ducts were cleaned and the new system was installed and works great. Installers also noticed the dryer vent was too close to the A/C system which caused the old system grids to fill up making it less efficient. Overall the crew did a fantastic job; they also did a good job cleaning up. The crew even set the new programmable thermostat the way I had the old one (nice touch).

Two representatives came. One worked on the A/C unit and the other cleaned the air ducts. They did professional work. Very satisfied with the work. Would highly recommend using this company for your A/C, Heating and Air Duct needs.

Excellent! Called mid-day because another company didn't show and Fire & Ice came and got the furnace working. The owner himself came because they were very busy. From now on it's only Fire & Ice for us.

Fire and Ice is a wonderful company. I found Scott, the owner, to be very honest in his estimate of our problems and cost. I contacted five companies off of Angie's List. Four of these being the "Big" name companies in town. Fire and Ice was the only company that sent us a letter of thanks for allowing them to give an estimate. We receive follow up calls after the service. The three men who did work were very professional, prompt and made sure the work was done the proper way. Fire and Ice is a great company!

He could have replaced the whole thing for $700.00, but was willing to try sealing the leaky pan (rusty water was dripping out of the furnace). It has lasted more than a year and is working well. He is very prompt with his service calls.

SCOTT IS VERY POLITE AND PROMPT. HE DID A THOROUGH INSPECTION AND SERVICE AT A REASONABLE PRICE. HE CHECKED THE GAS LINES FOR LEAKS FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FIRE AND ICE.

THE MAIN COIL IN THE OUTSIDE UNIT OF MY AIR CONDITIONER BROKE, CAUSING THE FREON TO BURST OUT OF THE UNIT AND, IN ADDITION, THE FAN STOPPED WORKING. I HAD BEEN HAVING SOME PROBLEMS, AND ANOTHER COMPANY (WHOSE NAME I WON'T MENTION AT THIS TIME) HAD BEEN TO MY HOUSE 3 TIMES TO CHECK IT OUT. I WAS NOT AT ALL PLEASED WITH THE WORK, AND FEEL THEY DIDN'T CHECK THE UNIT CORRECTLY. WHEN THIS HAPPENED THEY CAME OUT, SAID IT WOULD BE SEVERAL DAYS BEFORE THEY COULD GET ME A NEW COIL. THE UNIT WAS ONLY 10 YEARS OLD, BUT SINCE IT WAS IN THE MID-90'S WHEN THIS HAPPENED, I OPTED FOR A NEW UNIT, BUT USED FIRE AND ICE THIS TIME, AS THEY WERE RECOMMENDED TO ME BY A CO-WORKER. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW POLITE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND PROFESSIONAL THEY WERE. THEY ARRIVED EARLY THE MORNING AFTER I CALLED THEM, WORKED ALL DAY, CLEANED UP THE AREA VERY CAREFULLY, EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME, AND WERE VERY HONEST. THE FINAL PRICE WAS LOWER THAN THEIR ESTIMATE!
