Joe was very responsive and punctual. He was also very helpful in choosing a paint color for the front porch. The quality of work was great and the guys were very professional! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a painter for either interior or exterior.

The staff seemed professional. The person who came to provide the estimate was punctual and knowledgeable. We did not have the work done by this company because their estimate was high.

The owner showed up on time to give estimate and started work on time when the contract was signed. The crew was clean, friendly, and professional. The work was done as promised. We are very pleased with the high quality of the results. They left everything clean and neat at the end of each workday. I would use this company again and would recommend it to friends and family.

We did not hire them to do the work.

We were very pleased with the work, and the price was reasonable. The cost was in line with other estimates.

They performed the work over three days. The two days I was there it was fine and on the third and final day when I was not able to be there I returned to a huge mess, broken window, broken exterior light fixture, broken plants, on the interior they left their sanding pads and other materials.

They offered to do things that other companies would not; they really went the extra mile I felt. They were very easy to contact and communicate with. Overall I had a great experience and I would definitely recommend them to others and will use them again myself.

I did use this company because I decided to use a service that does not primarily spray on the paint.

I much prefer friendly to surly, but Joe was a little too talkative. He was the only one of five companies that thought I needed some of the wood replaced, at a rate of $45/hour. Also, extremely high priced-highest of all five. The price quoted for just the trim, fascia, gutters, soffit was several hundred dollars more than what all the others quoted, for those things, plus the addition!

They were incredibly responsive. They checked in every day to make sure everything was going as planned. The work was done to a high standard. We did a walk around afterward and they responded to every question/concern we had.

IT IS GETTING CLOSER TO THE END OF THE WARRANTY AND ALL OF THE PAINT HAS PEELED OFF OF THE DECK. I CALLED THEM TO LET THEM KNOW THIS. THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL AFTER THE RAIN TO COME AND DO THE WORK. THIS WAS IN JUNE. HE STATED TO ME THAT THE PRODUCT THAT HE HAD USED HAD FAILED ON THREE OTHER OCCASIONS AND THAT HE HAS A PRODUCT THAT WOULD FINISH IT AND HE COULD GET THE WORK DONE IN ONE DAY. THEY HAVE NOT COME TO DO THE WORK. I HAVE SINCE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND AM NOW RECEIVING NO CALL BACK FROM THEM. IT IS A RENTAL PROPERTY AND THE TENANTS ARE COMPLAINING A LOT BECAUSE THEY CANNOT USE THE DECK.

Terrible experience with Feather Touch. The owner promised to stain my new fence by July 1, and he never showed up. I paid my deposit on June 15. The owner never calls me back with schedule delays; and I feel he keeps postponing my work for other jobs. I am disappointed in this contractor very much. My new fence has now grayed out do to the sun.

The head of our crew, Joe (not to be confused with Joe, the owner) was wonderful to work with. He, along with the rest of the crew were very careful working around our landscaping and moving things out of the way if I needed to leave on short notice. They were all very polite. The price was a bit higher than what we originally expected, but we felt the quality of the work was first rate! They were also willing to cooperate with an additional contractor that was coming in to work on another project. I would definitely use them again.

Left voice mail on 6-5 to schedule appointment for estimate. Call was returned same day and appointment set for 6-7 at 4:30pm. When making the appointment, I questioned if any of the crew were afraid of large dogs. Explained that dogs were well behaved, but have run into people who have fear of large animals and did not think it would be good to have somebody who had phobia trying to do the work. Joe commented that he was the only one with that type of fear due to dog bite when younger. At 3:30pm, day of appointment, Joe called and left message he was running late and needed call back to reschedule. I called at 4:40 same day and left voice mail. Have not heard from him since! This is horrible customer service. Instead of being fed a line about being behind and needing to reschedule I would rather have received an honest response of "I'm sorry, I've changed my mind about doing the estimate due to your dogs".

Feather Touch estimate was significantly higher, but Joe Mesi was more willing to stand behind his work. Put a lot of effort into prep work: power-washed, scraped, primed with oil base primer, scraped again, primed again. Repaired bad wood. Caulked everywhere. House looks really sharp now. Everybody was prompt. Work was performed without interruption (except for rain) until absolutely finished. Deposit was for materials only

Responsiveness was great Asked a lot of questions to determine my needs. Estimate was detailed and complete.

We had a great experience with Feather Touch painting. We haven't had our trim painted in several years, and it was in dire need of paint and repair. I called Feather Touch for an estimate. We set a time, and they were right there on time. This company was always very prompt with everything. Joe Mesi gave us an estimate and kept in close contact with us throughout the progress of the job. They have their own carpenter on the team, and this is a great added plus because they coordinate the repair work before they painted. They repaired many slats on our porch, and repaired windows that were rotting out. At the end of each day, they would report the work that was done, and when they would be back the next day. They did a great job painting, very professional, and they even painted a skylight opening in the house for no additional charge. I would hire this company again. They were great and did a terrific job, and were always in contact with me. I never had to wonder what was going on.

They did a very good job and cleaned up after themselves. They were very polite. It was a good experience.

I WANT TO GIVE A GLOWING REPORT FOR THIS COMPANY. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WITHOUT EVEN CHARGING EXTRA. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH PROFESSIONALISM, AND HOW THEY CARED, AND THE COLORS THEY USED. THEY WERE WONDERFUL AND I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN, AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE ABOUT THEM.

TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, VERY BAD. I SELECTED FEATHER TOUCH PAINTING BASED ON GOOD REPORTS ON ANGIE'S LIST, BUT THAT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE. THEY WERE SEVERAL WEEKS LATE GETTING THE PROJECT STARTED, THEY MADE EVERY EXCUSE IN THE BOOK FOR THEIR DELAY AND DID NOT KEEP ME INFORMED. HE CONTINUALLY CALLED ME BY THE WRONG NAME EVEN THOUGH I HAD TOLD HIM MY GIVEN NAME ABOUT TEN TIMES. HE NEVER DID FINISH THE PROJECT. HE JUST SAID "I AM NOT SENDING ANYONE ALL THE WAY OUT THERE TO DO THAT, JUST DEDUCT THAT AMOUNT FROM MY BILL". HIS BILL WAS CONSIDERABLY HIGHER THAN HIS ESTIMATE (BY SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS). HE WOULD NOT DO COLOR MATCHING. WE HAD TO DO ALL THE LEG WORK GETTING COLORS MIXED TO MATCH.

I DIDN'T REALLY JIVE WITH THE SALES REP JOE, SO DIDN'T GO WITH THEM.

THE FINISHED JOB WAS OF POOR QUALITY. THERE WERE PAINT SPLATTERS ON THE FLOOR AND ON THE TRIM AS WELL. THEY USED HUGE COMMERCIAL ROLLERS AND THE COVERAGE WAS NOT COMPLETE. I WAS WAY OVERCHARGED FOR THE QUALITY OF THE JOB. ESPECIALLY SINCE WE DID SO MUCH. I TALKED TO JOE IN JUNE AND EXPRESSED MY CONCERNS AND HE AGREED TO REIMBURSE ME $500 FOR THE TIME I WAS GOING TO SPEND CLEANING UP PAINT AND FOR THE OVERCHARGE. I NEVER RECEIVED A CHECK, AND HE HASN'T RETURNED MY CALLS OR MY ONE E-MAIL. THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT WAS THAT I WAS SO HAPPY WITH THEIR EXTERIOR JOB AND EVERYONE WAS VERY NICE. THEY ADDED A FEW DAYS ONTO THE JOB TO HELP GET MY RENOVATION DONE. I THOUGHT I HAD WORKED THIS OUT WITH JOE TO BOTH OUR SATISFACTION. NOW HE IS BEING UNPROFESSIONAL.

DUE TO WEATHER THEY WERE 1 WEEK LATER GETTING STARTED THAN I HAD REQUESTED. IT WAS A 4 DAY JOB AND THEY WORKED SOME OF THE HOTTEST WEATHER OF THE YEAR. THE CREW WAS SUPERB! THEY WERE EXTREMELY EFFICIENT, NEAT AND POLITE. THEY EVEN REPAIRED AND STAINED MY OLD MAILBOX THAT I HAD THOUGHT NEEDED REPLACING. IT LOOKED SO GOOD MY NEIGHBOR ASKED ME IF I'D HAD A NEW MAILBOX PUT UP! MAKE SURE THE WRITTEN QUOTE IS VERY SPECIFIC ABOUT THE WORK TO BE DONE. I HAD A FEW ANXIOUS MOMENTS WHEN THE OWNER SHOWED UP THE WEEK BEFORE THE PROJECT WAS TO START TO CONFIRM COLORS AND INITIALLY SAID THE QUOTE COULDN'T BE RIGHT.. IT WAS TOO LOW FOR THE WORK TO BE DONE. AFTER SOME DISCUSSION AND RE-EXAMINATION OF THE WORK TO BE DONE, HE AGREED TO PROCEED WITH THE QUOTE HE HAD MADE AND HIS CREW DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.

DID NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEIR PRICE WAS THE HIGHEST OUT OF 4 COMPANIES.

JOE RETURNED PHONE CALLS PROMPTLY, AND WAS EXCEEDINGLY EASY AND PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. THE PAINTERS WERE ON TIME, THOROUGH, NEAT, POLITE, AND COMPLETELY CLEANED UP AFTER THE JOB. WE COULD NOT HAVE HAD A BETTER EXPERIENCE.
