They did a great job

It did not go well. I was charged $331.66 for the call. I had 2 exterior doors for which I had lost the keys. I thought the lock needed to be replaced which because I had another locksmith come over and correct the situation found out I only needed to have keys cut. The locksmith didn't put a screws back in one of the locks, the face plate was silver colored not brass . He told me that he didn't have the brass color after he started the job and I already had to pay a charge for him coming to my house. Then was charged a 3%credit card fee which I did not know about until after I had paid. Before they arrived I received 3 calls changing the arrival time. The locks looked awful and I called another company redo the job. They only charged $ 92 . The service person for Expert Lock and Key was very friendly and professional .

He was here within an hour and did a great job.

Did not show up for appointment as agreed. Called several hours later to tell me the technician was on his way. Wasted my whole day. In the meantime, I called New Albany Lock & Key for service. New Albany Lock & Key was on time and provided excellent service.

Extremely well done work. He was incredibly prompt, actually making time on a weekend date to get the work done. Even with all of those doors to do, he was still done in around an hour, and the work looked flawless. Highly recommended.

Our front door lock would not work at all so we couldn’t leave for an important day’s activities. Eugene came very quickly, tested the lock and knew immediately what needed to be done to fix it and did so. Because he had done that repair so quickly and the lock worked so well afterwards, we asked him to look at a back door lock that was a problem. He tested it and explained why it needed to be replaced and then did so very expertly and quickly. The price was reasonable. We would definitely call Eugene again for his very professional, prompt and expert help. We will highly recommend him.

He really knew his stuff! There was a lot to do because bad work had to be removed before the good stuff could be installed. But, he put a new deadbolt on that works like a dream. I had some other people there preparing for some other work to be done, so I lost track of time, but I think he spent way over two (2) hours making sure the lock had a smooth opening and that I didn't have to use a Karate kick to get it to work. I will call him again for any other locksmith work I need. He's the best!

Horrible! Called them, asked how much to make a key. Gentlemen asked where I was located. Told him my address and he said $29 for drive and a buck 50 for making the key. I thought it sounded a little low and asked him word for word 29 for drive a a buck 50 per key. He said correct. I told him go ahead and come out. I informed him that this service was for my son and that he and my wife would be home, I would not. Soon after, I get a text from my wife stating that my son had to pay $180 stinking dollars to make a key! Very poor professionalism. I believe the gentleman took advantage of my 16 year old son and wife. Knowing that I was not home to correct the price. Do not recommend this company to anyone.

They sent out a technician and I had all my locks replaced. It appeared that they were all working properly when he left but the next day they would not lock properly. I got a handyman I know to come take a look and he determined theta they hadn't replaced the strike-plates on any of the doors so I had to pay him to do a temporary fix. I called Expert Lock and Key to tell them about the issue and the owner agreed to come take a look. I was informed at this point that the tech who was sent out was fairly new and apparently not trained properly. The owner agreed to give me a portion of what I paid back as I wasn't comfortable having them do any more work on my house. Which was a nice gesture on his part but i feel that something like this should have never happened.

Eugene got it working again - was very impressed with his honesty and candor. I'd use him again.

Great communication, availability and service!

In a short amount of time, the locks were rekeyed. Then I asked Eugene to help me program my garage door opener which he did. In addition, he adjusted a door that wouldn't close and carried two totes of books upstairs for me. I really appreciated his extra service of helping me in the condo.

We were quoted $80 on the phone. When he got there he wanted $314. We settled for $160 cash because we were in a bind and didn't have time to get someone else.

I forgot my keys in a car and found these guys . Called them and they arrived really fast. And after 5 min they opened a car. Very professional and friendly service. Cost was reasonable.

Both times it went great! Work was done fast, quality was outstanding, and was very competively priced. Great people too! Would recommend them to anyone!

The guy was really nice. I have never lost a key and had to get a new one before, so I expected it to be a long process, but he was able to make the key really quickly. I would recommend them to my friends. He actually gave me a few business cards and I've already given some out.
