Description of Work: I purchased a $40 coupon through Angies List for a design consultation for our master bath. Happy with the recommendations, responsiveness and timeliness, but we ultimately decided to postpone the project because of kids college expenses. Very pleased with this company's service and would hire them if project was moving ahead. Very professional and thorough.

Description of Work: When I signed up for the $49 bathroom design consultation I was expecting a 'drive by' visit with minimal amount of effort put in by the consultant. I was pleasantly surprised that not only was the consultant willing to put in a great deal of effort, but she was willing to spend more time on the design that my wife and I were ready for at this stage of the project. When we are ready to move forward with the bathroom remodel, we'll definitely give them a call.

Description of Work: The rep from Elite was very personable on his initial visit to give us an estimate. However, he said he would return to our house the following Friday with a design in 3D and the estimate. However, he then called and said he was too busy to come back out so we had to go to his office. We did but we were very disappointed in his presentation at that time. He did not have a 3D presentation as he said and the design was Ok but didn't have any wow factors His price was way higher than any of the other estimates we had received. In fact it was 2 1/2 times as high as several of the others. So we did not go with him.

Description of Work: Purchased a Big Deal for a bathroom design consultation with computer generated drawings. Amber did a wonderful job of providing both. We had two meetings and communicated via email. All communication was prompt and informative. Unfortunately, we found the estimate to have Elite complete the bathroom remodel to be high so we'll hire another contractor for the job.

Description of Work: Robert Harmon (owner) came out to look over the existing kitchen and discuss creating the plans for the new kitchen remodel. Elite was hired to only install the cabinets and granite. They were very good about working with me, as I needed to have things accomplished (plumbing, electric, lights, drywall etc) along with them. The lead installer, Joe, showed up on time daily and was very knowledgeable and skilled. | |Only bad experience was not Elite's fault. Mont, the granite supplier had mixed up the piece of granite we picked out. This caused major problems as it has a very odd and unique pattern. Make sure you take down all the information from the slab(s) you pick out to be sure it's the one(s) you originally picked out. | |Wall Stone is the granite cutter/installer. Jon Wilking is the owner and lead installer. He has great customer support skills and worked with us to get through the granite supplier issues. The job he and his guys did was tremendous. Like I said the granite we used was a very unique pattern. Jon worked very hard to match patterns at the seams and did a fabulous job. Jon went out of way to obtain another slab and prioritized our counters to keep us on time. | |Elite is a little pricey, but the quality of both the materials and installation is top notch. They were happy to replace and address the few cabinet issues that popped up. I'd use them again.

Description of Work: We met with Robert Harmon, the company president and he provided the kitchen design renderings after a very thorough consultation. We have entered into a contract with him for a large scale renovation. While work has not started yet, we are very pleased with his responsiveness and his assistance at all preliminary points.

Description of Work: Elite Home Remodeling was very easy to work with and very professional. I purchased the deal for drawing up plans, then agreed to go ahead to have to work done because the design Robert Harmon had created was wonderfully done. The entire kitchen was gutted and soffits removed. Stove and refrigerator were placed in different locations, new cans lights were installed. Cabinets, granite, backsplash were all beautifully done. New hardwood floor was installed in a dining room, kitchen, foyer and half bath. The work by Jim and his crew was top notch! | |During the planning stages Robert worked with me to incorporate the ideas I wanted. When Jim and his crew were working in the house they were always willing to answer my questions and adjust a few things along the way. I would definitely recommend Elite if you are considering a remodel in your home. They made the whole process a pleasant one!

Description of Work: "I purchased a $55 Big Deal for a kitchen remodel plan in 3D. After 6 weeks and numerous phone calls and excuses, I finally got the plan after I had given up and proceeded with the remodel myself and with my own plan. I told Robert that I was on a tight budget but his plan came back at nearly $30,000. By the time I received the plan, I had already proceeded with my remodel as I couldn't wait for this company. I think this company probably does a good job, but got so many hits on the big deal that they couldn't keep up and there were some personal things that came up and delayed them, also; however, they didn't keep me informed or communicate very well. I was able to finish my kitchen for $10,000 with my own plan using local contractors here in Newark. |"

They were kind of a subcontractor throughout the kitchen process but their crew has already been here; they need to come back and finish some things up. They also installed all the new appliances. Description of Work: We used this company to design our kitchen and they did a fantastic job! Amber was very responsive and their kitchen designer was fantastic! Unfortunately, their bid on our kitchen was more than we wanted to pay (although it was not completely outrageous). I would definitely recommend this company for their kitchen design services (I am sure that they do a great job remodeling as well)

Description of Work: I worked with 4 Angie's list service providers. Amber from Elite immediately connected with my wife. They seemed to be on the same page in designing the remodel. The price was fair. The crew was fantasic. They offered little hints and tips that took the remodel to the next level. They worked when they said they would and finished on time.

Description of Work: Had kitchen cabinets refaced, new countertops and a built in cabinet made. Their work was great. The men were here everyday on time, cleaned up after themselves, and were great to work with. Great company!

Description of Work: CAME OUT TO GIVE A QUOTE ON FINISHING A LARGE ATTIC SPACE IN TO TWO ROOMS. GREAT PRESENTATION, BUT FAILED TO FOLLOW-UP WITH A QUOTE. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
