During construction: went okay overall though they left the area pretty messy and left tire tracks on our neighbor's lawn. They took care of the permits. One thing that I didn't like: they didn't completely remove the support posts for the old deck; they just sawed them off at a height of 4 feet, and then just built the sunroom over top of them (using new supports for the sunroom). This left the storage area underneath cluttered with existing posts, and limited what we could do there. A couple weeks after construction, I realized a couple of other construction-related problems: 1. The rain gutters were too small to handle the rain, and they were also banked the wrong way. This caused rain to frequently overflow out and next to our foundation. I had to install additional downspouts to correct the problem. 2. They left a good section of our house's insulation exposed to the elements underneath the sunroom. I had to call them back to address it. They covered it up with boards. A couple months after construction, this is where the real problems started: 3. What they had promised (a "Four Seasons" sunroom that could be enjoyed year round) turned out to be very misleading. It was HOT in the summer and COLD in the winter, even with ventilation and fans circulating room from the adjoining room. Very disappointed with this!! Even adding a large heater made it only barely tolerable in the winter. The windows & doors iced up on the inside unless we had the heater going constantly (which made for very pricey electric bills!) 4. Water dripped from the skylights. They claimed that they were not leaking, but was "just condensation" coming from the inside. They further said that our "Four Seasons" room was not meant to be heated and used in the winter months, and this is what caused the condensation problem. Unfortunately, their brochures and online info had pictures of other sunrooms that they had built which contradicted this: they clearly showed similar sunrooms having heaters and even hot tubs installed, so their explanation didn't fly. They came out several times to try to resolve the dripping problem, and eventually took care of most but not all of it with different types of insulation and caulking.

In talking with and trying to work with another contractor, we settled on Elite because they were the one company willing to work with us as we (the homeowners) performed a great deal of work ourselves in order to keep the costs down. They were in the process of securing a secondary cabinet dealer so we were able to get a good quality cabinet through them for a very good price. The project started at the beginning of January after some ordering and permit delays. Once they got started the team that did the work was on site for two weeks and provided full rough in, electrical and plumbing (through subs), and structural alterations. Except for some material ordering blimps, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and detail oreintated. The foreman was OK but the workers were outstanding. The owner did a walk through and review of the work toward the end of the work. They designed, measured, and ordered all the cabinets, we did the install to save some money. We also did the drywall and detail work to keep overall project costs. We would however have been better off ordering the granite countertops through Elite as we would have gotten a better deal and they would have ensured a proper installation. Once we completed the detail work they came back to install the bamboo floors. Their installation team, different from the first, did an incredible job over four days and put down an outstanding floor. Overall if we would have had the money we would have had their team do more of the work but they offered a great partnership in getting the work done and working in tandem with the homeowner.

They did a great job at a decent price. We talked about which options we had and what would last longer. He was very professional and worked with my husband who was hands on himself, and let him work side-by-side with them.

Everything worked out and it was a fantastic experience. They were great to work with and they were very efficient. We've been very very pleased with their results and they started all on time and finished early.

The best experience we've ever had. They are absolutely wonderful to work with. They arrived on time were clean, respectful of me and my home, cleaned up everyday and what else can be said their great and I'd have them (which we are) again. My only problem was I didn't find them sooner.

It went well. When the color of paint I had selected seemed to be darker than the sample, Rodney took it back to Sherwin Williams and asked them to add some white to to lighten it a bit. Derek came back two days after the main work was finished to collect payment and put some finishing touches on any areas that I thought needed additional work (like removing paint from my showerhead, filling in a small gap between the floor and the baseboard, etc.). Both workmen were polite, considerate and answered all my questions. They cleaned up after themselves each day.

Elite Home Remodeling did exactly what they said they would do for us - their workmanship is top notch and easy to work with during the project. We did have a couple of communication challenges that were truly result of balancing their various contractors and bad weather. However, that didn't impact our overall timeline of the project. The outcome is a beautiful new kitchen. We would hire them again and recommend them to all of our friends.

The kitchen is beautiful. We receive compliments on the quality of the work and craftmanship. We have an old house so there are always surprises but they did a good job of letting me know options and being upfront with additional costs. They had to replace the subfloor but only charged labor and materials since it was not in the original quote. The drywall ceiling needed replaced instead of patched but they did not charge additionally for this change. Their pride in the work is evident and we would hire them again. They are trustworthy and we felt comfortable as they were in our home for about 3 weeks while we were working. The communication with the job supervisor was weak, but the owner, Robert, is extremely responsive and makes sure customers are satisfied.

It took several tries for him to return my call. I do have to give him credit for finally calling back though.

They are excellent. They resolve any and all complaints. On the major remodeling we received three quotes and we decided to go with Elite. They went out of there way to complete the job to our satisfaction.

THe work completed as well done. One of the installers was a former cabinet maker and did an exceptional job ensuring the coutertops were level and flush with a not so straigt back wall. One of the smaller coutertops was not finished on one of the sides as agreed too, but Robert ensured it was corrected that day. Additionally, the quote provided was the lowest we recieved. It was discovered after the fact that the subcontractor for the granite actually underestimated the cost. This misstatement was absorbed by Elite since there was a contract. He could easily have tried to charge extra, but he did not. The only complaint is that one of the corners of the grnaite countertops is not hte same as the other corners in the kitchen.

ELITE HOME REMODELING/FOUR SEASONS SUNROOMS were very professional, and their price was competitive.

They cabinet guys were excellent. They did a great job.

He's ignored every effort we've made to try and get it resolved. We used them on other jobs, and everything was fine, but we just can't get this taken care of. We love everything about the remodel, we just can't get the leak taken care of.

It took 3-4 phone calls to get them to return phone calls. Worked dragged on and on and on. I signed the contract in February 2005 and it got done in December of 2005. The work with Elite was re-facing the cabinets and the new cabinets. The floor, back splash and countertops were sub contracted. The floor and back splash finished in late November or early December.

THE WINDOW WAS CRUDELY DONE. THE FASCIA WAS THE WRONG TYPE OF MOLDING. HE USED THE WRONG TYPE OF GUN AND ALL THE NAILS ARE STICKING OUT. THE ONLY THING DONE RIGHT WAS THE SANDING OF THE DOOR. THE PERSON CRACKED THE CEDAR SIDING THAT WAS NOT CRACKED ORIGINALLY. THEY SENT OUT AN INEXPERIENCED CARPENTER AFTER I HAD MY NEIGHBOR ASSESS THE PROBLEM. I SENT TWO LETTERS AND THERE HAS BEEN NO RESOLUTION WITH THE OWNER.

WORK WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. WORK SITE WAS CLEAN EACH EVENING. DID HAVE SOME FRUSTRATIONS WITH NOT KNOWING WHEN SOME OF THE SUBCONTRACTORS WERE GOING TO SHOW UP, BUT ALL OF THE WORK WAS WELL DONE AND WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE NEW ROOM. WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

I WAS TOLD BY THE SALESMAN AND THE MANAGER, THAT OUR 3-SEASON CEDAR ROOM WOULD TAKE 4 WEEKS FROM START TO FINISH. THE ORDEAL LASTED 16 WEEKS. THERE ARE TO MANY ISSUES TO WRITE DOWN...BUT OVER ALL, THERE WAS NO PERSON WITH ATHORITY OR KNOWLEDGE ON THE JOB UNLESS WE COMPLAINED ENOUGH TO GET SOMEONE TO COME OUT. AT THE END THERE WERE NO APOLOGIES FOR THE MISTAKES OR THE EXTREME LENGTH OF THE TOTAL PROJECT. WE NEVER SAW OR HEARD FROM THE SALESMAN AFTER THE DAY WE SIGNED THE CONTRACT.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD, QUIET, CLEAN, ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS, MEASURED TWICE AND IT WAS ALL AROUND A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THEY EVEN HUNG PLASTIC FROM THE CEILING TO CONTAIN DUST TO THE WORK AREA.

WE AGREED TO THIS. THEN THEY HAD US GIVE THEM AN $8,000 CHECK SO THAT THEY COULD ACCEPT THE DELIVERY OF OUR BUILDING MATERIALS THE FOLLOWING DAY. THE MATERIALS DIDN'T ARRIVE THE NEXT DAY, BUT THEY DID ARRIVE THE FOLLOWING WEEK. THEY DIDN'T SHOW OR CALL THE FIRST DAY EVEN THOUGH I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES THAT DAY. IT RAINED THE SECOND DAY, AND THEY DID NOT SHOW OR CALL. I HAD TAKEN TIME OFF FROM WORK FOR THIS AS WELL. THEY FINALLY SHOWED UP THE THIRD DAY, BUT THEY WERE LATE WITH A TWO MAN CREW. 84 LUMBER WAS TO DELIVER OUR LUMBER OUR MATERIALS AS THEIR FIRST DELIVERY. ANDY WAS NEVER THERE WHEN WE WERE THERE AS PROMISED, ONLY THE 2 CREW MEMBERS - TERRY AND SOME OTHER GUY. TERRY WAS GREAT AND A HARD WORKER, TRIED HARD BUT NOT VERY SKILLED AS A CARPENTER. THE OTHER GUY WAS SMOKING HIS CIGARETTES. THEY LEFT THEIR SUPPLIES IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR YARD. WE WENT OUT TO LOOK AND TRASH WAS EVERYWHERE. THEY ALSO DESTROYED OUR HOT TUB COVER.

THEY DO VERY GOOD WORK AND I'M IMPRESSED WITH THEIR QUALITY. I HAD ONE PROBLEM WITH A LEAK IN THE CORNER OF THE ROOM AND THEY ARE WORKING TO RESOLVE IT. THEY ARE A LITTLE SLOWER AT RESOLVING THE ISSUE THAN I WOULD PREFER, BUT THEY HAVE BEEN GETTING TO IT. I'VE USED THEM FOR OTHER JOBS AND WAS ALSO VERY PLEASED.

RICK WAS A VERY GOOD SUB-CONTRACTOR WHO CLEANS UP ON A DAILY BASIS AND IS EXTREMELY HONEST. HOWEVER, ELITE WILL CAUSE MANY DELAYS IN CONSTRUCTION BY PUTTING YOUR WORK CREW ON DIFFERENT JOBS IN ORDER TO INCREASE THEIR CASH FLOW. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THE OFFICE TELLS YOU AND NEVER PAY UNTIL EACH STAGE IS COMPLETE!!! OUR 3 WEEK PROJECT TOOK 3 MONTHS.

GREAT WORK. VERY PROFESSIONAL. A++ GRADE!

THEY DON'T FINISH FLOORS OR PAINT (WE HIRED OUT AND DID SOME OURSELVES). EXAMPLE- FOR ELECTRIC THEY USE ALL OWN LABOR (NO SUBS). 3 PROBLEMS: 1) CHANGE INNER WALL FROM SIDING TO BEADBOARD NOT INCLUDED (WE THOUGHT IT WAS) - MUTUALLY AGREEABLE SOLUTION FOUND THAT DID NOT BREAK BUDGET; 2) LEAKING ROOF FIXED; 3) STILL WAITING FOR SUBCONTRACTED ELECTRICITY TO MAKE FINAL ADJUSTMENT TO TWO ELECTRIC SOCKETS SO GAHANNA WILL PASS INSPECTION. WE HAD OUR WORK DONE DURING THEIR WINTER SLOWDOWN AND SO THE PRICE WAS SOMEWHAT CHEAPER. PRICE WAS 10K LESS THAN THAT OF ANOTHER COMPANY LISTED WITH ANGIE. WE WERE SURPRISED AND DISAPPOINTED IN THAT THERE WAS NO FORMAL 'FINAL INSPECTION' TOUR (SIMILAR TO THE FINAL WALK-THROUGH IN A NEW HOUSE). THIS SOMEHOW DIDN'T SEEM TOO PROFESSIONAL, ALTHOUGH IN OTHER RESPECTS OVERALL PROFESSIONALISM HIGH. SOME DAMAGE TO LAWN DUE TO 'CONSTRUCTION SITE' WAS EXPECTED. CLEANUP PRETTY GOOD ALTHOUGH STILL FOUND WOOD CHIPS AND NAILS FOR SOME TIME AFTER. SALES GUY WAS CONSTRUCTION
