I really liked the designer/consultant who came to my home. We discussed refacing my cabinets, changing counters and lighting, adding a backsplash and replacing a door. I went to their office and saw samples that looked great. I decided not go hire them because due to their small crew, I would have to wait til 2017 for my new kitchen. Also, I did not receive a rendering, but I did pay for one. I would recommend this company because I think they are fair and knowledgable.

The plan they drew up was amateurish at best. It showed no imagination whatsoever. I could have dome it myself and saved my money.

I have referred this Company to many neighbors and friends! I would highly recommend Elite for any Home Remodeling projects.

Job eventually was completed, a month late and well over budget. They ignored requests or failed to ask about basic design items. I.e. Electrical outlet placement. Paint work was abysmal, and they used the wrong kind. They used builder grade under cabinet lighting and installed it to non code. Workmanship was ok on the basic cabinet and flooring. I've had to have serviceman out for the appliances because of install issues. Very responsive when bidding job, not so much after work began. I had to travel for work in the middle of the job and with me not there checking on the progress the job doubled in time. I had my bathroom remodeled the following year, needless to say i didn't use them. They're a nice family business and maybe I just caught them at the wrong time. Which is spring after the home design shows...

It didn't go. Can't hire someone who won't follow through with an estimate.

Elite provided an estimate of work to be completed and was able to fit me into a window in their schedule to complete the work required quickly. Their employees were very professional and I felt completely comfortable with them in my home while I was at work. The finished work was skillfully completed, my questions were promptly addressed, and the guys did a great job with clean up as well. I recommend them highly and would absolutely use them again in the future! Thanks so much:)

Short version: Everyone we dealt with at Elite was absolutely fantastic. This is a fantastic re-modeling company. Amber provided the estimate for the work to be done for the strip down/remodel, and she was absolutely invaluable in helping us make material/product choices (tile, marble in shower, granite, colors, etc). The resulting look and feel of the bathroom materials and fixtures based on her input is stunning. Janet and Nancy in the office made sure that everything happened on time, and got us out of a couple of minor jams during this process. They always kept us up to date and in the loop regarding schedules. The bulk of our time was spent with Darrell as the lead contractor on-site with Seth assisting. We just can't say enough about these two guys. Their work is impeccable, and at the prices contractors charge today for remodeling jobs, you expect that. But it was their attention to the finest details and their creativity that put them a step above other contractors we had talked with before starting the work. The best laid plans will always get modified once everything is stripped to the studs and walls are knocked down to increase the space, and these guys came up with amazing alternatives and ideas on the spot that in some cases, made the original design much better. For example, they had to restructure an existing closet due to our desire for a deep bathroom cabinet. The result is a custom look that still allows for hanging coats, which we thought would not be possible. Above all, they kept us involved every step of the way and most importantly wanted to make sure we were 100% satisfied with all of the work being done. Unlike another local re-modeler we almost went with for this job, we never heard the word "NO" from these guys. We might not have gotten exactly what we were asking for based on a technical or room layout issue, but they always came up with alternatives that fit the situation perfectly. We never once had to push anyone to do anything on this job to our level of satisfaction. They just naturally applied a superior level of effort to every aspect of the job, and exceeded our expectations in every way. The result is way more than we expected. Also, there was never any evidence that Elite was pushing or rushing to finish the job to get their crew onto the next thing. The work was done consistently but at a pace that allowed real craftsmanship to be applied to all aspects of the job. The amount of detail work done was something you don't see in general practice these days. This is our first experience with a contractor for home remodeling (we have been DIYer's for a number of years), and Elite will definitely get our major renovation business in the future. Very highly recommended.

Worst experience I have ever had. Contractor and staff was unprofessional and did not perform work up to standards. Have had several contractors out to give quotes to repair what was not done correctly. I am shocked at what needs to be done. Where wall was extended, the taping has sunk in and now we have an exact outline of extension. New hardwood floors squeak considerably and places that had nicked/chipped corners during installation were patched despite our request for this not to be done. Patching has since came out and the chips/nicks are apparent. Cabinets were not hung properly (per three contractors). This includes screws that are not flush with inside of the cabinet but at an angle. Pull out shelf that was quoted as Aristokraft, is not. This was confirmed with cabinet representative only after asking for the cabinet number. No other contractor could find this cabinet in the Artistokraft line to replace/repair. Grout around kitchen sink/counter was applied incorrectly and is now cracking and coming out. All needs replaced. We had to ask them twice to cap off electrical wires they left hanging in our basement. Back door was hung incorrectly and with wrong hinges. We have been told that not only is this a safety issue, but the fire department has told us it is a fire hazard due to the difficulty opening and closing. These are just problems we experienced after the remodel was complete. There were numerous issues during the construction that required heated debates to get corrected. Too numerous to mention here. We had to file a complaint with the Attorney General, Better Business Bureau and NARI. Elite settled with us, but since, we have discovered for nowhere near what the cost is going to be for to us to repair. During the whole settlement process, they posted lies and slanderous comments regarding members of our family. They basically are saying I cannot be pleased. Untrue, in that I only want the job completed correctly and we would like to get what we paid for. The wife of the owner repeatedly called or e-mailed malicious comments to the point where I had to block her from e-mail and hang up on calls as I was at my office. She then locked herself in her office crying because she told the owner I was mean to her because I hung up on her. I am sure she did not mention that she was cursing at me. At that time, she was not sure they were going to complete my remodel. Obviously, she is not used to working in a customer service capacity. I have worked for a homebuilder for 15 years in a customer service capacity. What I was requesting was not out of line. Also no one should have to listen to someone yell and curse at them on the phone. I told her if she didn't stop I would hang up. She didn't, I did. I would highly suggest that you not use this company. All of the above can be documented through emails and written documents. Pictures also available upon request.

The work was great and they were just wonderful. They were really great with the back splash, I had some old tiles that they let me incorporate into the new design and it looks great. The team that came out did a wonderful job and I would recommend them to anybody.

The drawing was fine, but the price was too high, so I decided not to go thru with it. I thought it was supposed to be a 3D drawing, and instead it was just a simple drawing on a piece of paper. I expected more. I didn't get any other estimates. The price was reasonable. They were right on time and were here when they said they would show up. They brought sample cabinetry and it was nice, thorough.

Very disatisfied. We chose NOT to call Angie's List because we described to Angie's List , in full, what we planned to do and did not want to "fight" for a refund. We have no gripe with Angie's list but with the provider.. We got the feeling that our "project" was not Big enough for them to bother with us.We went elsewhere and had a WONDERFUL experience, start to finish. We will give a review on our other contractors in another review.

From start to finish Elite Home Remodeling was great to work with. Robert is the owner of the company and he was the first person we met from Elite, he came to our house, discussed the project with us and provided an estimate in a timely manner. Robert directed us to a designer who drew up our plans and Robert stayed involved, providing insight as to how much certain requests would impact our budget. Once the project was started, we had the same 2 men working on our job everyday. There were also a few other workers who came on and off the project but the consistency of having Scott and Jared be there from beginning to end made it very easy to get updates and feel comfortable that the requests I made would be implemented. I work from home and I asked them lots of questions along the way, Scott and Jared were very good at explaining what they were doing. The team went out of their way to get us settled into our new space before Christmas, which was much appreciated since we had house guests coming and needed the extra bedroom! We love our new space, the quality of the work is great! When I found little things that I wanted them to address,they were taken care of immediately. At the start of the project, Robert told us the job would take 3-4 months and they finished in just under 4 months! We went over our initial estimate by less than 4% and the overage was driven by specific decisions we made to upgrade certain aspects of the job. I have nothing but positive things to say about Elite Home Remodeling and would absolutely recommend them for a home improvement project. Should we have additional projects in the future, I will definitely go to them.

Amber came out to the house on the agreed-upon date, punctual and professional. She had good ideas about my space and asked excellent questions to give the best recommendations. The price was a tad bit higher than other bids that I received but that wasn't a drawback. Their schedule didn't fit mine so I decided to go with someone else. Also, the 3D rendering is something they can only really do for cabinets, not the shower or tub space...which was my major renovation area. Amber explained that this is something Angie's List needs to update. In either case, Elite said they would refund my $49 since I didn't get the 3D.

We actually didn't use them, we felt they put us on the back burner.

Simply fantastic. Amber is wonderful to work with. She is part of the family that has owned Elite from the beginning and it shows. She has experience in every area related to the design. Our downstairs bathroom needs a complete overall, all the way down to the studs, and we will be relocating plumbing, and roughing in small structural changes to the room as well to make it slightly larger. She really "got" what we want to accomplish and set off to quickly come back with an initial design. She had great ideas of how best to use the space and showcase the room's most wanted feature, a glass, virtually frameless shower with a bench. After working with another company that camehighly recommended, but the design aspect was a complete joke, Amber is really a breath of fresh air. Communications and design turnarounds have been very quick and informative. Their pricing to do the actual work is inline with 2 other quotes we received. The only "hitch" thus far is that Elite is so busy with numerous crews, our job won't start until April of 2016. Couple of ways to look at that I suppose. Perhaps you don't want to go with a company that can start next week ! They obviously have a lot of business in the pipeline and that's a good sign that things will go well. You will get WAY more than your $49 worth. We just entered into contract with Elite, and hope the good times continue once the job actually starts.

Excellent work performed by skilled carpenters and painting crew. Never any hassel if we wanted changes made. No pressure to pay and work was completed in a timely manner. Joe took his time to build the porch and didn't rush so he could go to the next job. Would recommend them to do your work

We worked with Amber and we were very pleased with her professionalism. She listened to our design goals and came up with a plan that met our expectations. Amber met us at the kitchen design center and patiently walked us through various cabinet choices. I'm sure that Elite does quality work however, our budget and their quote were far apart. Amber was kind enough to come back with an additional discount however, the project cost remained above my economy budget consideration. I would recommend Elite to others if you are looking to install a high end, quality kitchen.

It looks fabulous and was completed in less than 4 days. Each day when I came home everything was neat and tidy. Very respectful workers -- I had no problem with them having a key and coming and going while I was at work. The owner of Elite came to my house and we talked through what I wanted done, then I went to the showroom and he led me through the process of choosing everything. He made suggestions to save money. The showroom is very nice and everyone who works for Elite, is nice, respectful and hard-working. Because my job was a fairly small job and I wasn't in a hurry to get it done, I received a nice size discount by not setting an exact date and letting them fit it in between two larger jobs. I LOVE how it looks and will use them again!

They were very competent when they were doing the design process. I liked the quality of the design and the professionalism.

The meeting for the estimate went well. I was very pleased with the suggestions made. However, that was in August and we were promised an estimate by the end of the week. It is now September and we have not received any sort of quote for the work that would be done. I've had to call the office twice to find out when we might expect an estimate and each time I was told we'd get a return call but we have yet to receive a call or even a status update on the estimate. I am very disappointed because we have paid $50 for an estimate with computer generated rendering and it has been over a month with no estimate and no renderings and no follow up. I guess I'm out $50.

There was a bit of trouble with timely communications with them, and as it turned out they had a designer out on maternity leave and were a bit behind. In addition, their crew could not start our project until November. Since we wanted to get started earlier they generously returned our $49 deposit. We would have given them strong consideration had we been willing to wait to have the work completed.

After receiving three estimates for a bathroom remodel and removal of two walls on our first floor, we decided to hire Elite Home Remodeling. From the initial meeting with Amber, we felt very comfortable with their professionalism, experience, price, and proven quality of work. Every person that we dealt with at Elite, including Amber, Tom, Janet and Nancy, showed complete professionalism and a high regard for customer service. Tim and Darryl did the work in our house. They are both very nice, professional and clearly care about the quality of their work. They showed up when they said they would show up, and completed the work in the timeframe we had discussed. The quality of their work is impeccable and I could not be happier. I would highly recommend hiring Elite for your next home improvement project!

Elite was/is great to work with. They did provide some excellent design ideas, which we did appreciate and utilize. A couple weeks later, we decided to increase the size of the room and they easily accommodated that request. After all paper work was approved and accepted they started work on time. Elite did some similar work on a neighbor?s home last year. They spoke very highly of the entire Elite Team and we were able to to see first hand the high quality of Elite?s work before we contracted with them. Elite excavated for ten (10) support piers, poured the concrete, and framed the entire structure in just a few days. They did a very good job matching the existing three year old shingles and did a great job of interfacing with the existing roof and gutters.They were able to obtain the same siding (manufacturer, model, and color) as our existing siding. This was quite an impressive feat, since our home was built 13 years ago. The horizontal lines between the existing and new siding meshes (lines up) perfectly. They took a very conscious effort to be positive these lined up perfectly. Since they meet at 90 degree angles, no one can tell the 13 year difference. I was able to complete necessary electrical rough in and insulation while they completed the roof and started on the exterior vinyl siding work. As I noted, the "special" windows all had to be special ordered. Eight (8) of them are an extremely strong type of vinyl and look very nice, not to mention very large. The remaining 2 are higher up in the vaulted area and are 1/4" tempered glass in a unique trapezoidal shape. They made sure to incorporate proper moisture/water intrusion prevention membranes and sealants during this phase of construction, as they did elsewhere. The door is double paned glass with a mini blind contained between the panes of glass, and the operating mechanism is very easy to operate. The interior walls and ceiling were completed with a top grade of bead-board (wains-coating), the quality of it is excellent and quite attractive. Outside, we had some ?unique? eave and overhang design requests which Elite satisfied in an awesome manner, actually better than we expected. The room interfaces perfectly with our home and we have had many very positive comments from neighbors, family (of course), friends and actually several from some of the golfers. Elite performed a clean up of the site periodically through each day (for safety), and at the end of every work day. All local inspections went off smoothly and during the final inspection, the Inspector told me they were familiar with the high quality of work that Elite Home Remodeling (614-785-6700) does an their projects. I wholeheartedly endorse Elite Home Remodeling and would hire them for my next project in a second.

Received drawings of recommended reno, however, we decided to put on the back burner at this time. We would definitely use them in the future.
