Elite Cleaning & Restoration

We noticed the problem on the Monday evening before Thanksgiving and cleaned up as much as we could. On Tuesday, the plumber fixed the blockage, and I started looking for a carpet cleaner (using Angie's List, of course). When I talked to the owner, Rick, I explained the situation and that we needed the work done as soon as possible (Keep in mind, this is two days before Thanksgiving when everyone in Columbus wants their carpets cleaned!). Rick said that he was completely booked but that he could come over at 7:00 am on Wednesday, before his work day officially started. Rick and Maurice arrived just before 7:00 and had the job finished by 8:00. We hadn't even discussed the cost, so when the final invoice was only $267, I was thrilled. Rick and Maurice were very friendly and knowledgeable and are definitely my heroes! This is a company that goes above and beyond. I will use Elite Cleaning exclusively from now on and recommend them to everyone I know.

This is the 2 nd time I've used Elite and I continue to be impressed. This time Rick, the owner came along. Both technicians were professional in my home. I did not have furniture moved b/c I hadn't moved it since the last carpet cleaning. They said they would have moved it for me though. Very flexible & understanding when I changed my mind on what was to be cleaned once they arrived. I will use again in 6 mos. Be careful not to confuse them with a newer company called Elite Carpet Care out of Canal.

The service representative was prompt, courteous, and carefully moved and replaced all furniture. He took extra time to pre-treat heavily stained areas and went back over those areas twice to remove as much stain as possible. The man even spent extra time to remove a spot of melted wax from my carpet. He explained and then showed me how to remove these types of stains by wetting a cloth, placing it over the wax, and then using my iron to heat and remove the wax. He went above and beyond your typical carpet cleaning service. That's why I will continue to use Elite and will recommend them for the ''Page of Happiness.''

Carpet was cleaned on schedule, quickly and for a fair price. The result of the work was very good. The also provided suggestions on how to keep the carpets in good shape going forward.

Rick Chapman and his helper came to the house about noon (scheduled for 12-2 PM). They asked if they could use the neighbor's driveway since our driveway was at the back of the house and they thought they could get into the living room and dining room more easily by the neighbor's driveway. The neighbor gave the OK if we waited 10 minutes because she was leaving the house. Rick noticed that the husband was returning, so when I suggested using our driveway which could be used he quickly agreed. The two men were very professional and speedy in cleaning the furniture and were out of the house by 2 PM.

Did a WONDERFUL job! There moto is ''The Best in Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning'' and they really mean it! I've had several other companies in my home. The owner (RICK CHAPMAN) was the actual man who did the job. Punctual, thorough, professional, and friendly! He worked sooooo hard, he even had sweat beading around his face! This man did the BEST job on my old stained up carpet and made them look new again! He took just a bit longer than the other companies that I have had come out, but you know why? He was doing a BETTER job! This man and his company gets my highest praise. He was considerate and when I wanted a couple other things cleaned as well, he did it with a minimal charge. My hat goes off to this company! I plan to call them again before the holidays to whip this old carpet into shape again.

This was my first experience with Elite. Overall they were cheap, quick, and the carpet was clean. They were friendly, but they lacked attention to detail, or service to win be back as a customer. I feel no reason to ask them back. They asked to be paid before I left so they wouldn't be waiting in case I got held up. I didn't care about this, but usually you want to pay at the end so you can see if everything was to your liking. They worked very fast and did not vacuum prior, like I was used to with other Carpet cleaners. They also did not ''rake'' up the carpet afterward, which left my carpet feeling ''crunchy'' and very wet. They didn't give any protectors for our shoes, instead warned to be careful. They did not provide any spot remover or extras, other then a door magnet. They were quick, and not detail oriented. The carpet was clean. They also left my garage door wide open on a cold day. Overall I expected more, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Rick & his associate arrived on time. Very courteous. We went through on detail to show them what we wanted cleaned this time. The carpets look great, as does the furniture. I was concerned about the furniture since it is a microfiber, but they cleaned it and the fabric looks good and they were able to get the animal smell out of the couch. We've used Elite two times before in the past year and plan to have them back in six months.

Quoted and scheduled over the phone. I've had issues in the past with the suction dropping off because of the length of hose from the truck up through the house to the 3rd floor. I appreciated the fact that Elite was willing to pull the hose in through a 3rd floor window shortening the distance and avoiding having to snake the hose through the house.

It went very well. He showed up on time. The carpet and the furniture was cleaned to my satisfaction. I have tried several carpet cleaning companies and were never satisfied. I always ended up going back to using Stanley Steemer to clean my carpets because they did the best job, but were very expensive. This cleaning was on par with their cleaning. I will definitely use them again.

Very well. The quality of the work was good and the cleaner gave us some useful advice regarding care and qualities to look for in purchasing new carpet.

The technicians arrived well within the promised window of time. They were polite, and they were very careful with our furniture and other belongings. The price was more than fair. I will use them again.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I have used this company. This time it was Charlie who did the work. I have consistently been impressed with this company. He came on time, worked hard until the job was done. This was not an easy cleaning job. There was a lot of carpet to clean and a couch which definitely needed brightening after being stored for a long time. Now, everything looks bright and beautiful! I found this company on Angie's List and I am so glad I did! There prices are very reasonable, and the work is done well. I highly recommend this company and have told several of my family members and friends about their services.

This is the second time I have used this company. Lawrence is very professional and personable. The work is first class. Their prices are better then most. We will use them again and again and highly recommend to all members.

They responded promptly to my request for an estimate, they were able to come out within the next week, and they were in and out of the house quickly to do the actual carpet cleaning. They were courteous, came on time, did not break anything and the carpet looks good. Best of all, I thought it was reasonable ($40/room).

My experience did not match, what I had read on Angie's list, when I was searching for a carpet cleaning service. When I called to schedule my appointment, the person I spoke with was not pleasant and when I had to call a few hours later to reschedule the appointment, he was very rude. But I decided to keep the appointment because of the ratings on Angie's list. The person who came out to clean my carpets was very nice and did a nice job. My only complaint would be that, he did extract enough water from the carpets and stairs that he cleaned. It took days for them to dry and I had to put out floor fans, to help with the drying process. The area rugs and chairs dried normally.

The worker arrived within the time frame promised, he was very personable and completed the work to my satisfaction within an hour and a half.

I called Elite Cleaning and Restoration because I have used them for years. They have always been wonderful (in every category). For this visit, I wanted some old furniture cleaned before my just-starting-out daughter put it in her first apartment. I'm happy to report that the worker took one look at the furniture and told me that it was beyond cleaning, that it would tear in the worn places. He made my day, and he did it by being honest. A highly recommended company in my books!

Lawrence was on time. He called to confirm appointment and time. He was very professional, he definitely knows his stuff. The chair they could clean came out beautifully, and was dry almost immediately!

The serviceman was professional. He worked very hard to get the dirt out of the carpets. I have had several companies come out to clean carpets. None has done as good a job making the carpets look bright and new as has Elite. I will hire them again.
