EFFICIENT MOVING

Two movers came on time with a large truck, padding, straps, and other equipment needed such as a screwdriver, doorstop, and flashlight. The bed was disassembled prior to moving and all furniture and boxes were moved into the truck. The move out took about 2 hours. I met the movers at the new apartment about an hour later at the new apartment. The new location had a long ramp, and elevator, and a long hallway. Everything was brought in and placed and the bed was set up. One of the large IKEA cabinets did not hold together when it was moved -- not due to handling but due to poor construction. The movers worked to get it into place and stabilized it with one of their brackets. The move in took about 3 hours. The movers were VERY polite and did not damage anything. They moved at a consistent but carful pace. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality and cost of the work and I would definitely use them again.

The two gentlemen arrived on time and were very nice. They were respectful of our home and belongings and not one item was damaged during the process. I will definitely use them again.

It had been 14 years since we last moved, and have heard many horror stories during that time. But the guys from Efficient moving did an excellent job - from the initial estimate (which was right on target) to the packing and then to the moving out and in - the experience was as good as can be expected while under the stress of moving. Troy arrived on time for the estimate, worked fast and efficiently, and provided an estimate for how many boxes we would be moving and the furniture - which turned out to be almost exactly the amount of boxes we needed - no surprises that we needed to move many more boxes. The morning of the move, the team of 5 guys and 2 trucks arrived, and they were pleasant and seemed truly interested in our concerns and requests - and they got right to work. It was a very hot day and it was hard work, but they never slowed or complained, and kept at it until the last piece of furniture was re-assembled and everthing was where we wanted it. Ours was a local move, and I highly recommend Efficient Moving whether local or long distance. They care about the quality of their work - and it shows. Troy and his team member arrived right one time, got to work, were very careful with the walls and floors of the house and with the pieces being moved. They worked quickly and cheerfully and the process was quite pleasant. In the end his bill was exactly the amount of his quote. I highly recommend Efficient Moving and I do plan to use them in the future.

We remodeled a home and needed items moved from the relative's home where we were staying during the remodeling project into our new home. Efficient Moving was reasonably priced and very professional. They were on time. They moved wicker porch furniture, glass top tables, a small buffet, a large wood desk, and exercise equipment from one home to the next home. They did this quickly and did not damage any items. They were very friendly and we would use them again.

Troy and his team were punctual, professional, and efficient. The job was done right and for the same price as the initial quote. We'll definitely hire this company again if we need moving services in the future.

It went fantastic! Troy and his crew were very professional, courteous and extremely careful with my furnishings. They were prompt, hardworking and always willing to do any task. They put pads up at both homes to protect doorways and hallways. You could tell the crew had worked together for many years and everything went very smoothly. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Overall, it was a great experience.

It went exceedingly well. They protected the floors, carpets, and doorways during the process and were very careful not to damage anything. There was some slight damage to a door in my former house, but Efficient Movers sent someone quickly to have it repaired.

From start to finish, these guys were professional, on-time, courteous, and careful with our possessions. The day we moved, it was snowing, but they shoveled the walk to the new house and put down salt. They also put down mats on the floors. I can't recommend them highly enough. The price much lower than other quotes we'd gotten and the service was excellent.

They were right on time (though our apt. was in a hard-to-find spot), worked fast and were easy to work with. We had no antiques or large fragile stuff to move, but they were careful with our boxes and nothing had the slightest damage. Good people to deal with!

Troy was very professional. He was going to honor the 5% Angie's List member discount although it was not for a local move as stated on the coupon. He was also very punctual with returning phone calls/email. Due to being 38 weeks pregnant, we wanted to move our moving date up a week. Troy did not have anything open, but tried hard even suggesting moving us on a Saturday during the OSU/Mich. game. If there was not a possibility of the baby arriving early, we would have waited the extra week and gone with Efficient Moving and saved money.

Efficient Moving did an excellent job. I was impressed with Troy when I got the price quote from him on the phone. He asked a number of detailed questions about where the movers would need to park (on street or off), how many stairs were involved at the apartment and the house, etc. By asking those questions Troy was able to give me an exact price. The pricing system is very fair -- there is a set charge per item, and then small charges for flights of stairs, or on street parking. The movers arrived at my apartment on time, and were efficient and careful with my furniture. They put pads up to protect the doorways. They unhooked my washer and dryer (electric), and even put the shipping bolts back in my washer to stabilize it for the drive. They were especially careful with my large and heavy china cabinet which has glass shelves. When they arrived at my house, I oriented them to where the different pieces of furniture would go. They had to take off my front door in order to get some things in the house, but this was handled quickly and easily, and only added $5 to my bill. They took time to let me put felt feet on each piece of furniture to protect my wood floors. They worked quickly, and were professional, cheerful and easy to communicate with. Overall, I was very pleased with their service and I would not hesitate to hire them again.

The pick up side was easy. The treadmill was in a garage. They did assist with the removal of the "arms". (Which consisted of 6 bolts, but I had the tools so we were good. They also had tools, just in case I hadn't). On the delivery side, the treadmill had to be negotiated down to the finished basement, which required going down and turn 90 degrees on a landing before descending the last 3 steps. If you have moved a treadmill, understand they are HEAVY and have no good hand holds to be able to easily maneuver while carrying. While moving this heavy piece of equipment, they were very clear with each other on who was lifting, how far, what angle, etc. to insure they safely got down the steps and to the basement. These two gentleman did an outstanding effort of moving the treadmill and not leaving a scratch, bump or nick on any door frame, wall or flooring. They had a REALLY hand custom-made pad that fit the front door frame.

They carefully viewed all the stuff in the storage unit and loaded the truck thoughtfully for a long-distance move. I had no problems or breakage.

They were great. They were polite and helpful. They were all-around super and there were only two guys that did the work.

This is the second time we used Efficient Moving. From to finish, the whole experience was great, even when the crew was delayed finishing up a job from the previous day, the movers called and provided excellent communication on when they would arrive. Sean and Ben went above and beyond taking great care with our furniture considering all the rain we had that day. Ironically it was the same two gentlemen who had moved us into the house, which says alot about Troy and his company and the ability to maintain excellent help. Even with the rain, nothing was damaged and they were very responsive in moving furniture when needed. Very careful with furniture, floors, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again (although I hope to not need to LOL) but I would certainly recommend them highly.

The company did an excellent job and we would definitely use them again! The guys were professional and proactive and they went above and beyond. Our furniture was treated with care and the movers were tidy.

The price Troy quoted was competitive with all of the others I had received, and that's exactly what I ended up paying. The same two guys who moved my stuff into storage in Columbus in December drove the truck out to DC in May -- that's almost unheard of! They accounted for every item, nothing was damaged or scratched, and they managed to move everything into my new place without touching a wall! They sent a small truck with only my belongings, of a size that my small city street could accommodate, and they didn't charge me any extra for this (as other companies are known to do). At the last minute I asked them to stop by my parents' house in Maryland to pick up some extra furniture, and they obliged with minimal extra charge. The only negative was that they underestimated the drive time from Columbus to DC (or got a late start or something), and arrived two hours later than we had originally discussed, though they kept me updated on their progress all day so there were no surprises. The unloading was efficient and quicker than I expected. I can't recommend these guys highly enough!

Troy and his team moved my in-laws from a Columbus apartment to a Cincinnati assisted-living facility. Since my in-laws are elderly, there was a lot of stress and confusion surrounding the move, and they are not always the easiest to please. However, they loved the Efficient Moving people! One aspect of their service that was especially helpful was that the same people are on the job throughout the move. Sean, Sean and Ben packed them up, loaded the boxes, and then delivered to two different locations for us in Cincinnati. It was comforting for my in-laws to see the same people appear with the boxes as those who packed them. Also, Troy was extremely patient with our situation, as we had to change the date and add services (the extra stop and unpacking) at the last minute. He always showed up at the time he said he would, always acted in a professional manner, and was very upfront about costs -- there were no "hidden fees." In fact, since we packed some of their belongings ourselves, the price of the move actually decreased after the initial estimate. The whole team was very careful to point out any existing damage of items prior to packing. For example, a lamp shade had a crack before it was packed (not due to Efficient Movers), so on the back end, we were aware that the movers were not responsible for it and were not left to wonder. I could not have been happier with Efficient Movers' professionalism and services. I would highly recommend them and use their services again.

Outstanding experience! The two movers were punctual and very friendly. They were extremely efficient (hence the name, I'm sure) and were done overall within three hours, start to finish! I was incredibly impressed and will definitely be using their services again, should the need arise!

Troy and his crew were awesome. Friendly and personable, but professional and focused. They arrived on time and went right to work. Troy undertook the task of disassembling some bunk beds and reassembling them at the new house. They were Swedish made (think Ikea, but not), and came apart in a million pieces. But Troy did an awesome with it, and claims he only cussed once (but I don't believe him - I know because I originally assembled them, and there was much cussing then!). They were able to move a 103 year old "upright grand" piano, and make it look easy.

It went very well. The movers arrived just a little early, were very careful with all of our items, and moved a few extra small pieces. They had to take off the doors of the fridge and they even tried to put them back on in the other direction for me. We would definitely hire them again. We did get one lower price quote before we used them but this company had such great reviews here that we went with them anyway!
