I have nothing but excellent things to say about Efficient Moving. Between my spouse and I, this is the 4th time we have used this company. They are by far the best value for money in Columbus. The crew is top notch - responsible, honest, and hardworking. The 4 man crew in our recent move spent 9 hours moving our furniture, on a hot Friday. They displayed great teamwork, enthusiasm for the job, and took a lot of care in protecting the furniture, walls, floors, etc. I highly recommend Efficient Moving.

We were refinishing floors in the living and dining rooms and needed furniture moved to,the garage. Professional estimate arrived,on time, accomplished move, no muss no fuss.

The guys were very friendly, worked well together as a team, and were fast. They didn't dent or scratch any walls, and miraculously kept my floors clean!

Went great. Very efficient. When got to condo they were very agreeable to place furniture exactly where we wanted. Even came back next day when we discovered a drawer was off its track. Really was a dream move

We used Efficient Moving to move our big household/heavy furniture across town. We had originally scheduled for 9/26 then asked for another date and then had to revert back to the original date, which I crossed my fingers that it was still available. Troy worked wonders and got it to happen. Truly appreciated all the work and fun we all had in the process.

It was good. No problems at all. They packed everything and were really efficient. They were very good.

Troy and his team did a wonderful job. From the initial setup through the move. They were all professional, courteous and hard working. The three men that did our move were friendly, moved our belongings carefully and even helped move a piece of furniture that was already in our new place. They also gave the most complete estimate of moving costs, Troy made a personal visit while others had you fill out an online form or provide a list over the phone. I don't plan on looking at any other companies if/when we move again.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. Scheduling was easy, and I appreciated the fact that they charge by the piece instead of by the hour. The estimate Troy provided was extremely accurate and there were no surprises. On the day of the move Shawn and Ben were careful with my things, efficient, and thoughtful. The packing job they did was excellent. And when my treadmill proved very difficult to get into my new house, they didn't give up and stayed late (on a Friday!) to find a solution. My previous moving experience with another company was a complete nightmare--I will never use anyone but Efficient again.

Efficient moving was an excellent company to work with. They moved us house over two days and we and no problems. The guys they sent were very professional and courteous. They also went above and beyond with dismantling furniture and giving us random advice. The cost was reasonable and we had no damage or missing items. The only hiccup was an item left on the truck, however this was promptly returned a couple of days later. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a local Columbus area company to help moving.

From quote to final move, everything went as planned, on time and on budget!! Troy (unlike other moving companies) came to the house, walked through every piece to be moved and priced it accordingly. His staff was pleasant, professional and never stopped working!! It was a breathe of fresh air to see his staff enjoying their job! I will use Troy and his company for all future moves and will recommend them to family and friends!! Thanks Troy, and tell Sean and his crew they rock!

Efficient moving did a great job. The movers showed up right on time. They were very conscientious, courteous, efficient. They did a great job and I would use them again and would recommend them to my friends and family.

Sean, Bob, and Ben were excellent. They were on time, professional, personable, and took extra care to damage neither the household goods nor the house (floors and walls). Would use them again in a heartbeat!

Overall the company was very good to excellent. The company was very good and made the move across the country relatively painless. We have moved several times and have used multiple movers as well as large van lines with our prior moves. This is the first time we used a custom mover and would definitely do it again. Troy was very professional and gave a fair estimate. Initially I felt it was a bit high however, we were able to work with the price to make it more palatable. The moving team/crew that loaded and unloaded us were excellent. They were efficient, courteous, and nothing was damaged in the move. I would have given them an A in all categories however the 2 reasons I did not were a) responsiveness: a couple of emails/calls were not returned in a timely fashion. They were not necessarily ignored or neglected, just took a little longer than was I am accustomed to; b) punctuality, on the day of loading our stuff, the movers were 45 minutes late. While it was not a huge deal and did not set us back at all, a phone call and/or email explaining that they were going to be late would have been appropriate and would have sufficed. Additionally, when I called to find out where they were, no one returned my call. This goes back to the responsiveness issue mentioned above. Despite these two issues, overall I was extremely satisfied with the company and would not only recommend them to others but also would use them again in the future. The price is fair, the workers/movers are professional and efficient, and it was as pleasant as of an experience one could have moving across the country.

I cannot say enough good things about this company and the guys who work there. Troy, the owner got me in on a short notice where other companies told me it would be a month. I purchased a new home and the closing date kept getting delayed and the movers I had originally hired had no more openings. I called Troy and he got me moved the next week. Shawn and Ben, the movers were great! They were so polite and professional. They took their time and were very careful with my furniture. I have an antique curved glass china cabinet that I was very worried about but they moved it with great care. We had a mix up with the refrigerator and they were very patient with me. I had a refrigerator that I had them move into the house from the garage and then it didn't fit so they took it back out to the garage and moved another one in. I would use them again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend them to anyone who needed movers.

I interviewed five local moving companies. My new employer was paying for the move so I was less concerned with price than convenience and quality. Several of the companies were very professional and efficient but the owner, Troy, was far and away the most detailed and thorough in his walk through of my home to give me an estimate. The move was complicated in that I was moving my home and my office to a small apartment and storage unit over 2 hours away, and that my move included a piano, pool table and motorcycle. Troy explained how the pool table would be disassembled and stored. For a younger guy, he seemed to have a lot of experience and really knew everything about his job! When I got all the estimates, his was the second cheapest, and over $2,000 less than the highest estimate! A four man team arrived at my houseart the appointed time. Each introduced himself. I walled then through the house pointing out things I wanted at the apartment or tiara the front of the storage, then they proceeded to pack my stuff. I had to leave them several times and they worked well independently. Shawn was the team leader and I had to tall with him by phone several times over the next few days as they loaded and delivered my stuff after I had already moved. Overall, the company did a great job and made the move as painless as possible for me and I would definitely recommend them and would use them again!

Things went GREAT! Not only did Troy provide a very accurate quote he informed us of information about moving certain equipment that could result in a warranty being voided if we allowed a third party to move the item! The actual cost of the move was $85.00 lower than the quote, that never happens! ;) The movers were amazing! They arrived on time and were very nice guys! They were very careful when handling our office equipment and furniture. Nothing was damaged, they didn't even scratch a wall! This was a big concern since the new office has very narrow halls and some tight corners! These guys were great! Efficient Moving will be the first and only company I call if I need to move again, residential or commercial!!!!

We were dreading our move! The stuff had been at our country place for many years, and was in two different buildings, with limited driveway access. From the start, Efficient Moving made us feel at ease, working with us on the date (we needed to be out in a fairly short time frame due to selling the property), and taking the time to understand what we had and what the challenges were. Ben, Mick, Bobby, and Christopher arrived right on time, and showed a lot of creativity and a real can-do attitude about the job. Nothing stopped them! They found a way to get one of their trucks over some semi-soft ground without crushing our septic system, and moved our piano without a hitch. Then, when we arrived at our home in Columbus, they didn't just dump everything out; they took the time to put all our boxes in our garage and basement in a neat, organized way so we could get around all the items easily. They stuck to their estimate and the cost was exactly what we had been promised. What a terrific moving company!

Efficient Moving was a good company to work with. They came to the townhouse 2 weeks ahead of the move to visually see what they had to work with and gave me a written estimate and told me what I could do to reduce my overall costs and returned calls if I had questions. EVERYONE was very pleasant from beginning to end. Moving day arrived and they were there on time even though it was Thanksgiving weekend. I had never used a mover before and I was very nervous about all of my white wood furniture getting damaged. They were very careful about moving and packing the furniture and it all arrived without a scratch. They unloaded the truck and put things where I wanted and even put the beds together! The total move was done in less than 3 hours and I was so grateful that it went so smoothly. I would definitely recommend them.

We interviewed a few moving companies for a move from Columbus to Northeast Ohio. Efficient Moving came in with the second best price and e decided to go with them because of price and general communications, ease to work with. In home estimate was provided and was pretty close to the final dollar amount. The moving crew arrived on time and did a great job both moving everything out of our old residence as well as into our new residence. Crew was friendly and worked hard to get us in and out on a rainy December day. I had some Ikea office furniture that did not do so well in the move, but I'm guessing that was because of the quality of the furniture, not so much the movers. Nothing broken, just dings and scratches and some pieces pulling apart. The padded doors at both homes and took care with all furniture, overall a great job done.

Great experience as usual. Troy came out to the house for the intial estimate. Communication was great with them. Movers arrived on time and were very easy to deal with and extremely careful with our furnishings. Troy planned accordingly with the number of movers and the need for 2 trucks. We had a large number of totes and boxes and the movers were relentless in getting them moved over. They also were very careful at the new house as we had just had the hardwood floors finished, held furniture up each time it was brought in so we could check and make sure there were pads on the bottom. This is the third time we've used them and have only good things to say about them. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Each stage of the move from estimate through packing, loading, transport and unloading was handled well and efficiently.

They showed up with a Rent-A-Truck and a trailer. They didn't use any padding when they were moving. They used 4 different doors to move things in and out of. They didn't take any of the doors off or pad the doors when moving through them. They tore up 2 couches and marked up a $4000 entertainment center. They were supposed to take the furniture apart and put it back together. I have two brand new electric sofas and they totally forgot the controllers when they were moving. I asked the leader why he didn't grab them and he said ?Well, you didn't supply me with a box.? When they were assembling my entertainment center, they screwed the boards in upside down. They blew the corner out. I called the owner and he said he would get in touch with a company to fix the stuff. The company came out and gave me an estimate and efficient movers and I haven?t heard anything since. I wasn't satisfied with them at all. I haven?t seen anybody move so poorly. The estimated me for 80 boxes and then the total was 230 boxes at $2.00 a box.

Fantastic service! I had a large Armoire that I had purchased (500 plus lbs.) for a second story room. The company that delivered the brand new piece, said that they couldn't get it upstairs, so it sat in my Family Room for several weeks until Efficient Moving solved my problem. The company sent 4 movers to get this heavy piece upstairs, for the price charged, I think that it was very reasonable. They arrived quickly to give me an estimate, the movers arrived promptly when scheduled, they were careful handling the piece and my home and they were very polite. Efficient Moving promised to accomplish the job that the original furniture company couldn't, they did! I would definitely use them again in a heartbeat.
