When I called Duncan, he told me he was catching up with old jobs that were put on hold due to the ice storms, but would get out in the next several days for an estimate. However, I was pleased when he called the next day and said he was on-site and could do the cleaning right then for $95. That was a fraction of what A1 Seamless Gutters quoted me, so I gave him authorization to clean. When I got home from work, I went up to my third floor to view the old box gutters from the window. Most all of the sticks and debris were removed, although there were still a few leaves stuck the lining of the gutter. I was pleased at that point. However, I went outside later and discovered a burlap bag full of wet leaves in my front flower bed. I called Duncan the next morning, leaving him a message to please pick up the leaves. He did so over the weekend without disturbing me. At that point, I thought all was fine until the first heavy rain came. My gutters filled to the top and started pouring over the edge. Long story short, the apex of the gutter and the downspout was clogged with a good bit of debris. I was able to get it loose with a coat hanger attached to the end of a broom handle, and the gutters drained perfectly. I can only believe that a more thorough job could have prevented me from leaning out my window with a metal-tipped stick in the middle of a rainstorm. Anyways, based on the other reviews, I'm sure that this was an "off" day for Duncan. I would consider giving him another chance, provided he understood what my grievances were and promised to complete the job.

He was very professional. What impressed me the most was that he took the time and care to clean all the gutters and also to check that all downspouts and lines out to the street were clear to the street. Other gutter repair companies I've used cleaned the gutters but did not check all debris out to the street was cleared. I would definitely recommend him.
