+ -1 moreWe traded phone and e-mail messages for a couple weeks (due to both of our schedules) and then arranged a time to meet at his office. Dan spent about an hour looking at the coins and talking to me. He told me up front whether the coins had value or not. Dan made me an offer for the coins which I accepted and he paid me by check immediately. I felt confident that Dan was being honest with me and that the prices he quoted were fair.
Description of Work: Dan appraised a collection of old coins for me.

+ -1 moreDan, was very helpful and educational. He spent about an hour going through the coins. He explained that some coins had collector value above and beyond the value of silver. He told me exactly what ones had value and checked to see if any of those existed in my silver.
Description of Work: I had old silver coins that I wanted appraised.

+ -1 moreI called to talk to him on the phone first, made an appointment to bring the coin collection to his office. He seemed to know his business. I would use him again for sure. he seemed upfront and honest.
Description of Work: Dan spent a couple of hours looking at the coin collection, then made an offer to me which I accepted. He did not charge for the appraisal. He paid me with a check on the spot.
