Downey Clean Carpet Cleaning

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was very good. The guy was great, he was in and out, and did a thorough job, so we were thrilled with it. We added some more things, so we paid an additional amount. It was very affordable. The cleaning brought back the texture of the fabric. We have cats, and people just sitting on the couch, and it just brought out the original look of the couch. We thought it was priced right. They were out quickly, and responsive. They were very thorough in explaining everything. They did a chair for us to show us how it would look.

There were a few stains the cleaning technician was unable to completely remove but he explained why (bleach had been used). Basically it was a great job for a reasonable price.

They came out to clean my carpets and after they were done I noticed one area of my rug was not as clean as it had been from a previous cleaning. I called and they offered to come back out and cleaned the rug again and it turned out great.

They were fine. They did a good job and handled things well. They were very responsive and we are pleased with their service. Everything was in the timeline that we worked with them.

They cleaned the carpets in less than an hour. I wasn't aware the hallway would be considered 1 of the rooms in the 4 room package. Most carpet cleaning places do hallways and stairs complementarily. I had another room that needed to be cleaned but wasn't because they wanted more money. I was very disappointed. I won't use them again, even though they did a good job, for this sole reason.

I moved all of the furniture, etc., beforehand, and had to move items after areas were cleaned. John G. helped when he could. Carpet looked very nice. Cleaning the carpet near the wall boards left scuff marks on the wall boards. However, I figured that this would happen, and I had planned on getting the walls, doors and wall boards painted after the cleaning. John G. did a great job, especially considering that the cleaning process generates quite a bit of steam heat. Purchased this work through special on Angie's List.

I didn’t like the process that they used for cleaning. He hauled around his dirty carpet cleaning containers to the kitchen for water. The carpets got cleaned but not as well as other carpet cleaners I've used. They used a lot of water and took a while to dry. He did work hard on getting the carpets clean but the process was working against him as he had to keep reusing the dirty water. It took them a couple of hours for them to do the work and they did the downstairs rooms & steps.

The tech arrived on time with all equipment required. No problems

I was very pleased with this provider and its services. Their representative was fantastic (even recommended a good healing hand cream to me!). He was on time, responsive, pleasant, and did a beautiful job on my floor. I hate to walk on it now, but alas, I must :)

Everything went smoothly. No issues snd very helpful with questions.

It didn’t go so well. They needed to use our water and drain it into our toilet. They didn’t tell me that ahead of time and all the furniture that I moved from the rooms they were cleaning was in the bathroom. They didn’t steam clean and instead used a bad smelling solution to clean the carpets. They also left the carpet really wet. They told us that it would take 6-8 hours to dry, but it actually took 36 hours to dry with fans on. They also didn’t put risers under the furniture so I’m not sure that the area next to the furniture was cleaned really well. The carpet was very crunchy for months afterwards as if a residue was left behind. They called within a week to see how it went and I let them know what happened but they never got back to me.

Called Downey Carpet Cleaners to have 2 sofa's and 2 chairs cleaned. We have used Downey in the past having John as the technician but had not needed anything cleaned for several years due to moves, different flooring and different furniture. The man answering the phone was very polite, professional and accodmodating. We scheduled the cleaning for the following Thursday at my request and was told they would email me to confirm date and time. I received my email early on Thursday to say they would be here between 10 & 12. Scott was our technician and he phoned approximately 15 minutes prior to arrival at 11:00AM. He got right to work and cleaned all necessary items without any problems. Very, Very Pleased with the service. My mother-in-law has already decided she is calling them to have her furniture cleaned as well after talking to us about the great job. Thanks Downey. I'll call again when we need carpet or furniture cleaned!

They are the best carpet cleaners! We had three other companies come out including some larger companies and they did not do a great job.

It went well. It didn't cost more than the "Big Deal" I purchased. They're very courteous. They called to follow-up with their work. They were punctual.

It was excellent. We will use them again probably in the future. They were very professional. They came in and cleaned the carpet better than anyone else has ever cleaned it. They were very courteous and just in general, we felt comfortable with them.

They were great. Carpet were really rough from previous owner. They did a great job the Driver was great and very helpful!!

Very nice technician. Only thing that I really did not like is that he didn't take me through to show me the job done. I found a spot in a corner that wasn't cleaned after he left. It wasn't something that couldn't be cleaned, because I cleaned it by hand when he left. Wasn't worth calling them back, but might have been noticed if he showed me the finished project before he left. He only told me that it all cleaned up well.

It went good. There was no additional cost. It was a good deal.

Excellent cleaning, was able to get up stains that had been there since I moved in that had previously not been able to be removed.

It was fine. He just came in and did his job. He was friendly. They did a god job. It was easy to schedule an appointment with them.
