Downey Clean Carpet Cleaning

Generally well. Wish I could find a cleaner that would move furniture around like they used to.

I don't like Downey and I'm not going to use them anymore. They were supposed to come one day, but they came and I didn't have it scheduled for that day. It was like it was my fault that they came, so I don't want them ever again. I really got mad at them. I didn't want them that day and he said it was my fault but it wasn't. The carpet cleaning was okay. I thought the price was a little high because sometimes you can get better deals someplace else. The quality was all right. They came earlier than they were supposed to and I wouldn't let them in. They were on time.

They had a sale for $99 for 150 sq ft of tile and grout cleaning. That's not very big. By my adding on areas and adding sealing the price ultimately was $334. The work was done well and I'm pleased, just a little sticker shock.

They were good. They came in when they said they would. It was a good job. The cost was just the cost of the Big Deal. There was just one guy and he was fine. They came on time. They said approximately how long it would take and that was about what it was. I would tell a friend or a family member that it is worth checking them out. I would probably use them again in the future.

Scheduler was pleasant, technician arrived on time and did a thorough job. I was very pleased and will use Downey again.

Contacted me with in a day and I was able to get my appointment scheduled that week. They advised I would receive a call between 8 and 9 AM to confirm when they would arrive that day . He arrived earlier than expected and completed the job within two hours and did an amazing job.

Staff was professional and courteous. We ordered the deodorizer - but it left a foul odor in the house, so much so that it gave my wife a headache.

Excellent job!! We'll definitely hire them again - and recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

Technician showed up at the house and seemed disorganized. He said he didn't know what he was suppose to do. When we have had other professional cleaners in the past, they had always brought in hoses from the truck. This particular technician brought in equipment into the house and hooked up water lines to our faucets for supply. After completing the cleaning, proceeded to dump the dirty water into our toilets! My wife had to get out the toilet cleaner and brush to tryh and get rid of the residue. Pet urine stain did not come out of our living room rug. He tried spraying some solution onto the spot and proceeded to rub it in with his shoe which was just outside in the rain. Unfortunately, this will be a one-time service call for Downey.

It was good. They were professional, friendly and very easy to work with.

They were fabulous. They were great. The guy was prompt. He didn't try to upsell me. He was very professional. He was wonderful. He was like, "This is what we sold you. This is the deal." He came and worked hard. He was all sweaty. I was really proud. He did a great job. I thought my carpets looked good. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal price. I appreciated the fact that he wasn't being pushy to sell me additional stuff. He was very respectful. I appreciated that. Often they charge extra for stairs. He counted stairs and hallway as two rooms. That's what I wanted. He was absolutely fine doing that. The only thing with him - and it's not his fault, is that I had a stain and he said he thought he could get it out and he couldn't get it out. He tried but he couldn't get it out.

Wow!!!!! Punctual, friendly, quiet, thorough, etc. He did such a nice job, the neighbor across the street asked him to stop by to develop a estimate for his (the neighbor's) house. VERY IMPRESSED!!!!!

Mike came out to clean the carpet. He was in and out, right on time, and very friendly. Our dog takes medication that makes him vomit frequently, but they did a beautiful job. Mike was great at dealing with our dogs, and even helped me with a smoke alarm!

Excellent service from setting up the appointment through getting the service and follow up. A very well-run company

I have an elderly relative in Cleveland who has 4 cats. Her carpets are wool and had not been cleaned in a few years. Her upholstery was dirty and soiled. When the cleaner came to the home, I told him that I did not expect miracles. I just wanted to know that the carpets and upholstery were clean and hopefully smelled better. He did an amazing job. I've had carpets cleaned before but never saw cleaning the way Downey does it. The house and furniture looked and smelled great. I can't recommend them highly enough. I live in Columbus, where Downey's home office is located. I have bragged about them to anyone who will listen.

The provider arrived at the designated time and went right to work. He was very thorough and left our carpets smelling and looking clean. He did a great job on a staircase that we have trouble keeping clean. I would call them again in the future.

He arrived on time. He was very courteous and professional. I thought my carpet in my family room was beyond cleaning. My Basset hound had not been able to make it outside all the time, to use the bathroom. She was old and sick, she passed recently. I'd been using a Spotbot carpet cleaner a couple dozen times on the carpet. He was able to clean the carpet so well , I could not see the 2 dozen circles at all. I'm going to use them again soon.

The best purchase ever!! Company confirmed the date and arrival time.. AJ was extremely polite and professional! He explained everything and our carpets have never looked better! I can not tell you how pleased I am with this company and especially their employee, A J Montgomery!

Everything was done well and timely.

We wanted to get the carpets cleaned before renters moved in. They performed the service as scheduled and they were very professional. There were some wood stains on the carpet that they could not remove but since that is essentially a paint, I can't blame them for that.
