Downey Clean Carpet Cleaning

Provider was told about pet stains in the two rugs that they took to clean. When we received them back, one rug stunk of pet urine and was ruined. The stains were more visible than before it was cleaned!

This company is awesome! I needed the carpets cleaned throughout my house and they were able to come to the house within two days. The technician was friendly, efficient, and did a wonderful job. I had a company moving furniture into the house at that same time. The technician worked with the movers so that he could clean the carpets in a timely manner and avoid having the movers walk through the newly cleaned areas. I will definitely be using this company in the future!

I have used Downey Clean more than once and have recommended them to friends and family. They communicate with me about appointments, are prompt and do a great job. Both times the individuals were courteous and friendly.

They called the morning of to confirm the 2-hour window when the cleaner tech would arrive. They arrived on time and did a great job. For this deal, they only clean open areas, so they don't move or block up heavy furniture. We had already moved the light items (coffee table, lamps, etc.), so the majority of the carpet was cleaned. It's a GREAT VALUE!

Tech arrived on time. Didn't get stains out of carpet. I was able to go over them with my Bissell green machine and get them after he left. Just a basic cleaning but not the attention to detail I was expecting and have had in the past by others.

Carpet seemed to stay wet much longer than vendor stated; followed all instructions regarding proper ventilation. We noticed one major stain was not eliminated. That is not necessarily the fault of the vendor, but we believe it is possible to clean it. Vendor seemed to be in a hurry.

Very professional, moved and cleaned furniture in the bedroom and cleaned the runners, a very small rug and the stairs. They all look great.

No issues at all. The carpet looked great when he was done. The carpet is 10 years old; he did tell us that some of the spots (from the cat) may return, so he was honest also. I've used Downey Cleaners every year (usually twice) so I'm familiar with their work and have always been pleased.

Called on a Monday, they were able to come out 2 days later. Appointment scheduled for between 10 and noon, tech called at 8 am to let me know it'd be approximately 11 am. Then called at 10:45 to let me know he was on his way. Arrived at about 11:05. Tech did a walk-through and explained the process, then got to work. Took a little over an hour. Tech did an excellent job getting up dirt and stains; carpet looks great. Tea stain completely removed. Carpets dried pretty fast--tells me the tech did a good job sucking the steam/water out of the carpets and pad. Definitely will use again in the future. Responsive, reasonably-priced, and good at the job.

Overall, the service man was very prompt and professional. Work was completed in a timely manner. Quality appeared great when he was finished, but as the carpet dried you could tell there was many spots that didn't come clean. Maybe that is just the quality you get with such a cheap deal. Overall, I would use them again, perhaps purchasing something more than the Big Deal, as I had to have any furniture moved myself (moving furniture wasn't included in the deal) and the quality might be better if you are paying regular price.

a little slow on responding to the Angie's deal, but I suspect they go a number of takers on it. the cleaner was on time, did a great job, and was very pleasant. couldn't ask for any better service.

They took 5 bigger rugs to clean. One person came to get the rugs and we had to help them take the rugs out and bring them back in. They should have been more prepared and had more employees to help with the rugs. They were suppose to bring all 5 rugs on Monday but only brought 4. My husband had to stay home again on Tuesday because they were suppose to bring the last rug but they didn't come. We had to call them and they ended up coming around noon. The carpet on the stairs and the rugs look good.

When they left everything was fine but later a spot came back. The price was fair.

It turned out wonderful. We had a lot of pet stains and they removed them all. They removed all the smell as well. They did a wonderful job.They responded very prompt.

The technician was prompt, pleasant, and very cooperative in exchanging carpet areas for the area rug and dog bed. He worked h****** the latter two items and they got a lot cleaner than I expected, so I was satisfied with their cleaning. I was disappointed in the carpet cleaning though. I think that the technician maybe didn't pretreat the traffic areas. If that had been suggested as an extra cost item I would have paid it, because the carpet didn't look much cleaner after cleaning. This was my 2nd experience with Downey. The first time I know the traffic areas were pretreated and afterwards the carpet looked great, but also the carpet is a few years older now.

Our carpets were quite dusty and soiled with spots. The technician they sent out didn't do a very good job with the spots. When they called to check to see if we were satisfied, I expressed my concerns so they scheduled a return visit The technician was beligerent and very defensive, stating that he couldn't possibly have missed all these spots, that they must be new spots and why didn't we schedule it sooner. They also didn't get a lot of the dust out of the carpet and the stairs were highly unsatisfactory. I would never use them again and would recommend against them.
